((I think two people tried to save Kuwabara at the same time. O_<))

Kuwabara was, at first, too scared and shocked to take notice of anything. He knelt on the ground with his eyes closed and his teeth clenched, thinking, Damnit, I'm going to die! He trembled, waiting for the death-blow to come. It never did. Hearing the clash of claws-on-metal, he snapped back to reality with a jolt. He looked up to see Mizuumi standing in front of him, blocking the blow with her fan. As his mind tried to register the fact that he was still alive, Keshoto's sword beheaded the demon. He got shakily to his feet. "Th-thanks," he said. Then he heard Keshoto's yell.

"Get back! You don't know what you're getting yourself into! Get away from here!"

"Too late for that!"

"Gyah!" Jamie only had enough time to put her arms up, blocking only a miniscule amount of damage, before the attack sent her flying. She slammed into the ground on her back, the force of the impact knocking the breath from her lungs. She lay there staring dazedly at the sky.

((LoL! I don't know maybe it's gone looney in the tower! xd ))

Jamie groaned and got to her feet. Her vision turned dark and her head felt strange as she tried to regain her balance. She shut her eyes and one hand rose to cover them. As she staggered, she felt a sharp pain in her side, where her ribs were. She shook her head and growled, opening her eyes. She retrieved her weapons where they had fallen, which was (thankfully) not very far. Unfortunately, both were broken, the blades sheared clean off. She didn't want to consider retrieving the other two. She put the broken blades back in their sheaths, tying the hilts to them. Once she was finished, she looked about, searching for a weapon to use. Unbeknownst to her, a demon got up off a pile of corpses behind her, having played dead. It raised its sword up, preparing to strike.

Kuwabara, having gotten over his feelings of intense relief, held out his arm, spirit sword blazing. He saw the demon get up and was about to kill it when...

...Jamie spun around! Making a sort of punching motion, a gust of wind hurled past, wrapping itself around the demon. Its arms snapped to its sides and its legs stuck together. It hovered scant inches from the ground. It growled angrily and tried to shake itself free as Jamie bent over it. "Don't like the Shackles of Air, do you?" she murmured. The demon tried to spit in her face. She smiled coldly. "I'll be taking that," she said, taking the demon's sword. Then, before it could protest, she sliced off its head.

((For the record, Shackles of Air is not my idea. It belongs to Tamora Pierce and is from her book, Sandry's Book. I just borrowed it and tweaked it a little.))

~*Mizuumi's POV*~

~Hmm, now that Kuwabara's been taken care of, let's see what Yoko and the girl are up to.~ I bound into the trees kicking out whatever demon was in there and slicing it's head off. I silently watched as the conversation. Yoko stared at the girl as if remembering her from long ago and asked, "What are you talking about exactly?" The girl replied back in a frustrated fashion, "You would forget, wouldn't you? You betrayed him. And I'll kill you for that." Her blade emitted with dark energy and she had a sinister look plastered on her face. ~Ok, I've heard enough.~ I leapt out of the tree and in front of Yoko with my katana ready and willing to slice through anyone and anything. "You know, I may not know this guy very well, but I do know he should at least have a second chance at refreshing his memory. So, if you don't mind explaining a few things before I decapitate you, that'd be VERY much appreciated." twisted

~*Chi's POV*~

After the hanyou's signal I nodded my head. I clasped my hands together and closed my eyes. A shield of pure light was created around me and I chanted, "Feline divine, heed my call, take on this foe, for death befall." The shield shattered and forged into a beam that shot straight into the sky. The call of a wild tiger echoed throughout the grounds. The rumble that resembled that of a herd of buffalo shook the Earth, causing it to split, then, a tiger of pure light erupted from the crack and ran straight towards the head demon, attacking him head on. Who knows what happens next . . .

((This would be a really good time for one of you guys to cut in. xd

Mizuumi: So, will Yoko find out what this girl is talking about? And will Chi's little Light Tiger really kill of the lead demon? Or will it just make him even stronger? Find out, next time on Yu Yu Hakusho!

When Chi began her chanting, Jamie was battling with another demon, its sword locked with hers. Kuwabara, who was at her back, was caught up in a similar struggle. Jamie, feeling the ground shaking beneath her feet, looked down and saw the earth beginning to crack. "Uh-oh...." Before the chasm opened up completely, Jamie grabbed Kuwabara by the arm and dragged him skyward. Gah, the idiot was going to make her drop him! She growled at him to stop, which he did. With Kuwabara dangling by the arm below her, she watched as both of thier opponents dropped into the abyss and the tiger of light burst out of it. Its brightness dazzled her eyes, making her shut them. Even so, she could hear the sound of its mighty paws as it charged at the demon leader.

Kuwabara was fighting with his foe and he was winning! Then, suddenly, he felt a tug on his arm and found himself being brought airbourne. He squwaked with surprise and stuggled a bit until Jamie growled,"Idiot, do you want me to drop you?" The tone in her voice made him freeze. When he heard the the sound of the tiger erupting from the ground, he looked down and was blinded by the light it radiated. "Ack!"
