Lucius's thoughts then turned to the far-off sounds he'd heard earlier. He wanted to go see what it was, though in all honesty, he didn't want anyone else to come. Leaving Langsley behind, Lucius slipped into the trees and away from the group.

Speaking of which, Yemits was now attempting to crush Onstaan's serpentine body by mere force. This was only notable because, through the power of constriction, Onstaan was attempting to do the absolute same action to Yemits. The only difference between the two was that Onstaan's mouth was full of weapons which the turtle-beast did not possess.
Calentine already knew Lucius was coming, though Lucius could not be aware of this. Calentine could see... in every direction, past all obstacles.

Kiki sighed in relief as the rest left.
She looked down to her side, and it had appeared that her pocketknife was left, and most likely the poor coward had run away. Charming.
Kiki shrugged, for there was nothing to be done for an overly emotional boy like him, and kicked the dead bakka out of her path.
She crouched to look Langsley in the eyes, and waved.
"Kiki. Yourself?" She introduced merrily, extending a hand to shake with one of those gargantuan looking pincer-legs.

Narissa watched Lucius go, noticing him quite easily. When you had just been attacked by giant arachnids, a bigger spider in the clearing was usually the spotlight. Especially when it seemed to be harboring a human underneath it.
Harlin finally got to the group, Damascus charging up behind him. So far, all he could tell was that a bunch of kids had miraculously made it into the Ether and, even more incredibly, survived some kind of attack. By the Bakka, apparently, although that didn't make much sense.
He spied with his little eyes a girl with a severely injured hand, a boy with messy hair that resembled a nest, two girls and everyone's Guardian, including Langsley the recluse.
((lol Everytime I type "Bakka" I think of the Japanese word for idiot, "baka"...))

Nate grunted as he lifted up the hefty bag of dog chow, and tried to aim for the little silver bowl.
"Oh, nevermind." Nate told his sleeping guardian angrily. Nate dropped the bag of food in the general area, and out spilled around the right amount of food. He pushed open the screen and front door before sauntering into the kitchen, to get his own , chow.

Radulf sniffed at the pieces of kibble on his paw, and licked them off. Quietly he lifted himself up, and replaced the bag on it`s proper end. He hated playing the maid. With his tounge he started to chow down, for lack of a better term, on the kibble not on the deck.

((I faithfully {*cough* obsessively *cough*} watched the whole series of Naruto.
The fillers totally killed me though, so I haven't watched a lot of anime lately. Mostly Death Note and some Full Metal Alchemist.))

"Nothing else is going to eat us... I think..." said Regond, flapping his way to the center of the clearing, near the glowing blue chalice that was the Focal Point (Gate). Then he had second thoughts.
"Er... but maybe it would be best to travel to the Nanne at any rate."
Regond, like everyone else, seemed to have forgotten about the tremendous crash of Yemits and Onstaan's battle.
