Alexis had put the metal rose in her jacket pocket, where her hands now resided. She'd walked away from the group after feeling utterly ignored.
Kara had left the group as well. She spotted Alexis leaning against the school's wall, watching the kids practice in the fields. The girl smiled. She walked up to Alexis.
"Hello," she said.
Alexis turned her head sharply. Her eyes narrowed at Kara.
"Hello," she said tightly.
"You seem so tense, Alexis," said Kara, a grin spreading across her lips. "Why don't you just enjoy that you were just asked out?"
"I don't need you bugging into my life, now, do I?" Alexis growled.
"Aw," said Kara. "You're afraid, aren't you?"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
She giggled. "How is Aaron?"
Alexis felt like punching the little girl's lights out.

Kara turned to the boy, smiling sweetly. "My name is Kara," she said. She gave a little curtsy. "I'm new here. It's very nice to meet you, Magnet."
Alexis resisted the urge to roll her eyes. She fiddled with the rose in her pocket.

Alice realized she has absolutely nothing to do and she should probably follow magnet and find Ali so she runs. she was fast so she caught up to him just when he reached Ali and Kara. "ALIIII!" she shouted happily she looked at her face and realized she was troubled "you ok?" she asked

"I'm fine," Alexis said, still eying Kara. She didn't want to have a public conversation as to why she was so out of it. She still had a lot of things to do.

Alexis flicked her gaze at Magnet. Her eyes softened a little. "No, you're fine. You're not intruding or anything," she said.

"no worries IM the one intruding and i'll intrude more later" she said briefly giving Ali a glance that said 'damn right i will and YOUR going to tell me whats going on!' she then turned to Kara "hello Kara!" she said smiling although she realy didnt feel like smiling at this girl she had some idea of the situation.

Alexis caught Alice's gaze. She returned it with a look that read, 'And what makes you think I'll tell you squat?'. She straightened and said, "I have some make up work to catch up on. I'll see you guys later." She flashed a reassuring smile at Magnet and headed off.
Kara turned to Alice. "Hello, again, Alice," she said. "I guess I'll be on my way as well. I have a few things to set up in my room." She turned and headed towards the dorms.

When Kara said Alice's name it sent a slight chill up her spine 'she creeps me out a little' she thought. Then a devious smile spread across her face "i wonder what she needs to set up in her room? i should find out" she said to her self. This probably wasn't smart considering the circumstances but Alice was a master of stealth and stupid actions.
