Ato Kuri more felt the crash than heard it, what with the armory's thick walls, and decided that he would avoid it for the sake of avoiding the crowd. Instead, he headed upstairs and started poking around, not really interested in anything in particular until he reached what could only have been a bedroom owned by someone far too kind.
"Great. I feel like I'm dirtying the place by setting foot inside the walls..." Ato murmured to himself, taking light steps to avoid leaving a mark in the carpets.
He almost reached the foot of the bed when something caught his eye. His reflection in a mirror, only... different.

Back in a corner of the ballroom, Kuri was on edge, paranoia keeping adrenalin pumping through his veins, but refusing his movement. He didn't shake, or even move a hair, except for his eyes, which continuously flickered between the few faceless drones left within sight.
"This... is not what it should be..." he muttered.

(welcome to the newcomer. I don't want to seem mean, but your intro seemed a bit abbreviated. sweatdrop )

One of the faceless drones move amongst the plants, one arm projecting a blade of energy as it trimmed, the other a simple 3-fingered hand, holding a watering can.

The drones in the room seemed to be of different design, similar to the ones around, but with rounded edges, softer. Set about on keeping the room spotless, they ignored Ato.

"ball party war...same diff here." kryxel said with a smile walking up to the spartan

(not to sound like a geek or anything (not gonna deny it, though), but Recon takes place before the Spartan program got the MJOLNIR armor was even close to finished... and John wouldn't have been able to lift a pelican anyways. A warthog, yes, maybe a banshee, but a pelican is too big. It's not the weight, it's the size. ^^; )
(And I have to ask why everyone's so hyped about the SMG having a silencer. big deal. 117 isn't James Bond, so why would you need one in H3?)

(My character is not from halo 3 recon. He is one I made up for a machinima that I am going to make! I couldn't find a close enough picture on Photobucket so I just used The Rookie because of ODST. I just picked the SMG because you can kill people really easily with them... now can we get back to RPing. No need to cause such a big fuss about it. Is it me or are my posts getting longer? Also plus everytime I play a new game I use the new weapons and mess around.)

" Well I might as well go get some punch. If it's not spiked or poisoned." He turns towards the tables but something shiny catches his eye. "Hey look a quarter!" He reaches down to pick it up but it slides away. "Now thats not natural. Oh well an even better quarter than the ones on Earth."

([oh. sorry... just a question, a comment and an observation...])

Without thinking about hit actions, Ato flung a kunai at the punch bowl, knocking it off the table. The fluid spilled across the floor, and Ato only realized what he'd done when a leg of it reached his paw.
"What... oh. Damn it."
Sniffing the wet fur, Kuri decided not to lick it for the sake of being a lightweight amongst lightweights; a mouthful of sake could pass him out, and who knew how strong the possibly spiked punch could be?
Ato leaped to the balcony again and followed the hallway to a randomly chosen bedroom, stepping inside and shutting the door. He climbed into the bottom drawer of the dresser and was finally able to think.

The mechanical gardener only glanced at her, "recorded kill count of 250 sentients. 1,302 nonsentients." it said before trimming a piece of a plant.

Zak blinked, "well, the robots will get more out, so that won't be spiked until the man of the hour shows up." he sniffed the air, "Smells like he'd puts some really strong stuff in there... I don't drink."

kryxel walked aboard the pelican...and smiled
"jackpot"
