"And me too!" Ian beamed, waving eagerly at his aunt. "Just a little bit though, okay?"Skye smiled and nodded. "Two warm milk," she murmured. "I will be right back." And she vanished from the doorway. Ian turned back to Prince. "We should get our jammies on while we're waiting," he suggested. "Do you have yours with you?"

Prince blinked. And the realization dawned on him. They had just.. made the decision and nobody bothered to make sure everything was the way it was supposed to be. Prince didn't get to bring anything over from Gaunt's dorm. "Ah.. well.. all I brought was me, I guess.."

Ian grinned. "That's okay," he assured Prince before his friend could feel bad. "Mom has lots of clothes for me already in case I ever grow, so you can use them if you want. They've never been worn before."
He scampered over to the wardrobe and tried to open the bottom drawer, the only one he could reach from the floor. He grunted and strained, his face screwed up in concentration, tugging first at one corner, and then at the other, running back and forth between them to pull it open.

Prince interrupted the process before Prince could strain himself much and helped him pull the drawer open. He reached inside since he thought that was the drawer that had the clothes and started to pull some out, looking over them. "Are you sure its okay I use these?"

Ian grinned and looked at Prince as he held the clothes out. "Of course it is!" he beamed. "They're my clothes, even if I don't fit into them! 'Sides, Mom would want you to wear them. She's sad they're not getting used. She doesn't say so but I can tell."
He climbed into the drawer and dug around a bit, until he pulled out a set of flannel pajamas and held them up triumphantly to Prince. "Here, nice and warm ones for the snow outside!" he beamed. "Wanna try 'em on?"
They were a dark blue, like Prince's own pants, and had pictures of small animals on them - animals that Ian had never seen, but had heard of at school.

Prince nodded, and he moved toward the door so he could try to find a private place to change. "Ah.. alright. If you say so." He smiles as he opened up the door and he looked around, trying to decide on which other door had the bathroom. He poked his head back into the room and he smiled. "Oh, and thank you Ian."

Ian grinned at Prince and waved as his friend left the room again, a little confused as to why he was being thanked. "Um, if you gotta go bathroom," he added quickly just as Prince was disappearing, "it's right beside here." He pointed to the left.

Prince nodded slowly and moved into the bathroom. He peeled off his clothes, and changed into those cute little pajamas and came out of the bathroom with his clothes in hand. He walked back into Ian's room and wondered where he could put his dirty clothes. "Ah.. where can I put these?" He smiles sheepishly at Ian.

While Prince was getting dressed, Ian also slipped into his nightclothes, tossing his dayclothes into a pile in the corner. When Prince returned, Ian just grinned and pointed to the pile.
"Just there is okay," he told his friend cheerfully. "Mom'll get it tomorrow or the day after. And if she doesn't, then Aunt Skye will."

Prince nodded at the instructions he was given. He tossed the clothes into the pile and he nods a little. "Maybe tomorrow I can help your mom or Skye with the chores.." He had to do something to earn his living here. He was already leeching enough by staying here to go to school. He had to do something and not just get by on the good graces of Serenity and her family.

Ian grinned and nodded. "They'll probably let you," he agreed, "you're bigger than me. They always tell me I'm too small."
He beckoned for Prince to follow him again. "Come on, let's go to the kitchen and get our milk," he grinned. "It'll be ready for us by now. Maybe there will even be cookies!"

Prince nodded and smiled. "Good. I was hoping I could find a way to help out since I'll be staying here a lot." He smiles and opens up the door when Ian beckoned him. "Mmmn. Warm milk and cookies. No better way to finish of a day, right?"

"Nope," Ian agreed pleasantly. "And maybe before we go to sleep we can try out our things that Ulrich gave us again. I'm prob'ly never gonna be able to use my bow, though, I'm too weak."
He skipped off down the hallway in the direction they had entered the house from, making sure Prince was following.
"Still," he added, "gotta at least try."

He nodded and followed after Ian. "Well, you can still develop a bit, right? Ulrich made the bow just for you, but if anybody could draw it back then there would be nothing special about archery right?" Prince blinked a little. At least it made sense to him. "And I still don't get that puzzle. But I'm going to keep trying! Because I gotta prove I can do it!"
