So... He plans to fight me when I have no help from everyone else. He knows that he could easily defeat me without breaking a sweat! I'll be crushed if I fight him by myself. My only hope is this poison. But I will defeat him, no matter what the costs are. If I die as a result, then I guess that would be my fate, Hiro thought.
That girl? The one that's being forced to fight against her will? She's who one of us will fight!? She'd probably cut me into ribbons if she chose to fight me, Mina thought. But... I will not allow despair to control me. There's still a chance that she'll choose to fight someone else.

Meanwhile, Rina was enjoying the time she was spending with Rita, wishing that it could stay like this forever. But she knew that it couldn't. The fight was fast approaching and she still had to choose who to fight.

Annexus shook his head. Smiling inwardly, but outwardly, he kept a straight face. "Choosing a partner to fight with is not such an easy thing for those of us who have not seen much death, and war." He looked at Korsu staring into his eyes. "Even though your eyes are the color of blood, they still can bear the weight of seeing the real thing, time and time again. Isn't that right, warrior?"

"I have fought my share of battles and killed my share of men. All for survival in the 2 years I have left home." Korsu said in an even tone, staring back at Annexus. "All those that have attacked me have been killed and will be remembered."

Leah didn't look back. She knew her illusion had failed so it suddenly vanished. With a sigh she slows down to a walk. Its a wonder he hasn't attacked yet. She had resumed the illusion of her usual green eyes so no one on the streets would stare at her.
Lilly sighed and put her sketch pad away. She was bored so she decided to go check on the prisoners. Slowly she walked to the dungon. She was only slightly supprised to see the king there. "Sir?" She stood off to the side waiting to be acknowledged. While she waited she looked over each of the Eternal Eyes.

Mimi just sat in her cell, listening. She was silent for some reason, thinking about what she could do. Trying to make a plan as things seemed to get more complicated.

Annexus, looked at Lilly and then back at Korsu. "And that is why the eyes of a warrior bare such weight." He let Korsu look into his eyes, which themselves have seen much death, more so than any man alive, given his age.
He turned and walked out with Lilly. "Come Lilly, are you hungry? Let's get you something to eat."

Yin left the other soldiers after having the short-lived conversation. She lifted her arms pulling her sore shoulders. She headed towards the throne room to see if anyone was there. Yin opened the large doors coming in and stood near some windows. She turned her head. She could hear some people coming.

Lilly followed behind the king, looking behind her at the Eternal Eyes, making sure they couldn't really see her eyes. She didn't want them asking questions. "I guess I am a tad bit hungry." She hesitated in asking the king what she wanted to know, feeling as if she would be overstepping her boundries as a subject to the king.

"What is on your mind Lilly?" Annexus looked at her when he pushed open the doors to the Throne Room. He could always tell when Lilly was thinking about something, and probably the only person who could discern what Lilly's feelings were, since she was always so introverted.
He noticed Yin in the throne room when they entered.

Hiro glared at Annexus the whole time, up until Annexus was gone. He nearly kicked the wall from frustration. "He means to kill me in a duel, since you all won't be able to interfere. I stand no chance against him alone," Hiro said. "That coward. He's afraid to fight us all at once. He probably plans to kill us one by one."

Lilly cursed at herself for not doing a better job of hiding the fact that she was thinking. "Well...." She blushed at the thought of asking such a personal question. "Its nothing really..." Lilly noted the fact that someone else was there but she made no point to say anything to them.

Mimi scoffed, making the first sound for about ten minutes. "Like he could.." She said. She wanted to seem confident, and not worried, which she really was.
