Taking a large dose of his drink before setting it back down on the bar, Kaeling turned around to see the dance floor and looked around at the amount of people where in the club. Thinking of something to eat he remembered he had a chinese take away left back at his house, 'Probably too cold now' he thought as he turned back around to the bar and noticed someone looking at him, ignoring her slightly he went back to his drink but felt her eyes stil upon him

Envy followed Lexie’s eyes towards the other boy, pausing for a moment on his figure. She looked back over to the other girl and moved to lean more on the bar as the drink she had asked for was served. One over her fingers tapped the wood lightly, picking at a small grove her nail happened to rest by.
”Well…” she sighed, her body moving only slightly with the loss of air, “I’m not exactly ‘new.’ I’ve been around these parts for about a year now… but… as for everything else about this city, I can’t tell you I know it front to back…. Nor everything that inhabits it…” she coughed a little, someone that walked by had a real strong stench of…. Ugh… human… and a gag reflex couldn’t be helped. Usually she was good about that sort of thing, but, damn… “Scuse me, sorry about that… Phew, you’d think he’d wear more deodorant or something,” she tried to make a joke out of it, seeing if Lexie maybe had the same problem she did.

The male seemed to want to be left alone, and she was happy to comply at the moment. Lexie turned her head back to Envy and glanced down in thought, strands of purple and black hair falling over her left eye. "Everything...? You mean, things worse than in this place..? Or so I hear...What else is in the ci-..."
Her train of thought was interrupted by the strong stench of sweat and unshowered flesh coming off of the club goer as he walked past. She reeled back, looking extremely ill and putting her hand to her mouth and nose. Her actions are hard to miss and the dancer glances back over his shoulder and glares at her self consciously before disappearing back out on to the floor. Lexie took a few moments to compose herself, catching her breath once she could smell slightly fresher air, "When was the last time that guy showered?!"

Taking another drink out of his Carling, Kaelin almost spat it out and over the bar when he heard what the two girls said about the clubber. Putting his drink down he started coughing and smiled glancing over to them and giving the club goer a glare back when he saw what Kaelin had done in response to the girls. Staying where he was he couldn't bring himself to take a sip of his drink until he had calmed down from replaying what he heard in his head for about five times

[Alright...Might be a bit of a short post then.]
The sound of coughing caught her attention and turned it away from Envy and the club goer. She looked at Kaelin again, smiling faintly though with an edge of wariness. Her hand lifts up and half waves, a bit of an inviting gesture should he choose to take it as such.

Dessik really wanted pulled his hood down over his head and go to sleep in the darkness it granted him. He didn't even know why he'd gotten up this morning, more or less, come to the bar. He had no ties to the city, other than his family, people more than capable of taking care of themselves. He was looking for a stirring of any kind. He wanted to start something and looked around the bar. He saw many, but the thing was did he have the guts anymore? He snorted, remembering what he used to be. The woman waving for her friend or whoever he was looked interesting. Dessik smiled, feeling an old warmth come into. "Maybe it's time," he whispered to himself as he got up to make his move. He wondered how long it would take for them to get annoyed.

Mercedes strolled into the bar. Immediately she caught the sent of Lycan's, mixed with the scent of mortals, cigarette smoke, and liquor. She was so thankful that she could have busted into tears or kissed the feet of them. They were definitely a sight for sore eyes.
She'd been bustling all over the city, some vampire threatened her twice on two different occasions, she'd felt stalked, and a hunter had sliced the tires on her car. A sigh of relief, she moved quietly towards the bar, slid into a seat and ordered a stiff drink. She tossed her curly brown hair off a shoulder while glancing nonchalantly around the place.

Looking over to the girls as a small part of movement caught his eye, he saw one of them waving over to him in an inviting manner, taking another bit of his drink, Kaelin sighed. 'What have I got to lose', he thought before standing up and bringing his drink over to the girls before sitting down next to the one that waved him over, "Hey" he said simply

Lexie smiled faintly, not noticing Dessik for the moment or his apparent approach. She had no idea she was being watched, and perhaps she had let some of her guard down. These 'people' did seem nice, after all. She nods in greeting to Kaelin as he sits nearer, "Hey..." She seemed a bit for a loss of words and looks down after a moment, turning her head away and towards the bartender. Quietly she orders water, as that's all she can afford.
Her eyes catch on Mercedes as she sits down. The bar seemed to be picking up, and this was good. It upped her chances of finding someone who might be able to help her, or at least point her in the right direction. She was glad that she finally came in out of the cold.

Mercedes glanced at the woman and smiled lightly. It was definitely looking up. This was the first smile she'd gotten since she'd move to this place. She sighed and turned back to the bar. Her drink was up, a shot of tequila. She definitely needed it. Tipping the drink back, she took it down in one gulp. Her throat felt like it was on fire, but she knew after a couple of these it'd feel numb.

"Name's Kaelin" he said as he held out his hand to the purple haired girl, not knowing what else to do since he guessed they were of his kind, he kept his hood up in an effort to hide himself but the light from the dance floor would occasionaly show his face for a few seconds

Lexie glances away from Mercedes as the woman turns and orders a drink, her attention brought back to Kaelin. She peers at the half hidden face for a few moments and then looks down at the hand. Eventually she sticks her hand out and shakes it briefly, business-like. "Lexie Anderson, that's my name. Or Lex. Nice to meet you, I hope."
Her last sentence lets on her lack of trust for the young gentleman, at least for the moment. She takes her hand away and sips her water again, glancing up at his hood. "Are you in a habit of wearing hoodies indoors, or is that just part of your look?"

Dessik sees the kid go over to her. Was he going to lose his nerve and prove he wasn't who he used to be? No! He shoved his hand through his hair, this is what he wanted, some trouble, something he could easily dance his way out of if anything became too thick. He didn't like thick. Except for millshakes and then shook that out of his head, well he was still the same in other ways.
He went over to them, stood at the table and made eye contact with them. And then on her. "Look, there's something I've been meaning to say to you since I saw you and if I don't get it out now, I'll forget it later so here it goes." He leaned down over the table like he was sharing trade secrets. "I love chicken." He straightened, his eyes dancing with laughter. "How 'bout you, kid?" He said to the guy with the hood. "How old are you, like three hundred some odd?"
