Ryugi Kazamaru MerDefsGirl Nothing seemed to be happening top side anymore, though she thought she had heard muffled sniper rounds in the distance. Ears like a ferret, but small ears, I mean hearing! Red found one of Lament's finest on patrol inside the city, they weren't all that hard to find. She pulled out her I.D. before hailing the officer. "Hey you!" Red yelled, "I had planned on leaving tonight, nothing seems to be happening up here, so why is the entire city in an uproar?"As soon as the soldier heard her voice, he spun around, sidearm drawn and ready to fire. However when he noticed her I.D., he calmed himself and answered her quickly. He had a duty to attend to afterall. He couldn't afford to be late to his next check in. Terrorist attack down below ground. The whole city is in Lockdown. No one enters or leaves the city. I'm sorry, but that all I can tell you. I suggest you stay indoors as much as possible. The Guard saluted and turned to continue his patrol. "Eh, touchy!" she said, raising an eyebrow "Anything I can do to help? I'm rather bored of sitting in a cheap motel room. I'm pretty good at sniffing out troublemakers."She couldn't help boasting a little, just a little.

If you really want to help, watch your own back. The guard continued on. It was his a** on the line if he was seen talking to a civilian durring the lockdown like this. He didn't mean to be rude, it was his job.

And so, Decruda would step up to the exact spot on the wall and mark it with a few quick scrapes of his glass dagger. The dagger he had now of course, was crudely made, little more than a piece of jagged glass with a smooth handle, having lost his other one in an encounter while obtaining his eighth sample. He would then walk directly south and then mark the wall there as well, and of course, east and west as well.
Oh, and the improved invisibilty spell? It would end right about now. Decruda was dressed as a traveller. Relatively simple clothes built for the road, with a leather vest with many pockets as well as a belt with the same set-up. His back however housed a backpack at the moment, and around his shoulders was a cloak with a hood. It was nothing special, mostly an earthen coloured cloth, but it served its simple purpose of keeping the rain off one's head and a body warm at night. It wasnt like he was going to stick out like a sore thumb by wearing some mysterious cloak with the hood up all the time in a highly populated area, thats just dumb. Oh, and as for his face? It wasnt even his. And thats why he was in the city. He looked just like a nobody, and as a nobody he was here.
He put the pack down on the table as he sat down and retrieved a tome. In fact, it would be the same book he was reading when he had gotten Gavin's message back at the lair.

After finishing the latest chapter of the tome, Decruda would put it away and replace it with his grimoire. He had preparations to make, so now was a good of a time as any.

Lilith, still travelling in gaseous form, reached Lament in half the time it'd normally take walking. She was still tired, though. Too bad the city was on lockdown and she probably not be admitted entrance. Not knowing that, however, the priestess approached the North Gate with confidence, coming out of her gasous state and becoming solid again, appearing as if she had walked out of a small patch of fog.

HALT YOU!! This is a military zone! Take another step and you'll have to be terminated. This is your only warning!
A detatchment of guards had seen the woman arrive, and already had their guns on her, light rounds already in the weapons and ready to fire.

A bird of prey flew overhead, silently observing the city with its sharp senses. No one would notice from this high up that the eagle was looking for something or someone specific- it simply circled high above the walls and houses as if making a thorough search of the city before going any further down.
Naturally, the lockdown did not apply to something this high in the air and this seemingly harmless. That said, its progress would most likely be unhindered by the guards, much less the military.

Darshendros the Eternal Lilith halted, as commanded, looking at the guards curiously, but without any fear. "I am in need of food and rest. I ask to be allowed inside," she simply said. We're sorry but we can't allow that. We've got our orders. You'll have to go elsewhere. Now leave the premesis or we'll be forced to take hostile action! The other guards around the talking man had taken the time to aim right at Lillith with their weapons. These guards weren't fooling around, and they'd seen her use magic earlier. For all they knew she could be a terrorist or another undead minion trying to trick them...

He kept walking but spoke as he walked off. RI is rebuilding sections of the city. If you're with them, that's where you should find them. We're thankful for your offer, but this is a military issue only.

"I need to talk to the person in charge, who would that be?"

"I need to talk to the person in charge, who would that be?" Well, that was it. He'd been nice. He'd been polite. He'd been as tolerant as he could be of her, but now she was disobeying an order from a military officer in a lockdown zone. He turned around, his automatic weapon aimed at her. She might notice the safety was off. You ask too many questions! I'm doing my job Miss. And I suggest you listen to what I have to say and get moving to the RI area before I have to do something I'm going to regret. I don't know who the HELL you think you are, but you're in LAMENT now. Here, you obey our laws and orders or you get dealt with. Now, do I make myself perfectly clear? His finger was ready to pull the trigger if she made the wrong choice. He REALLY didn't want to shoot her, but if she continued to interfere with military activities he'd have no option. He had his orders...

(I hope you get this poorly justified lockdown over with soon so Red can leave.)
She tunrned away and started walking, this guard was obviously a total idiot, how were they training these people anyway?
"Fine, geez, I'll go. I might as well be in Ymiristan, if everone else is as freindly as you are in this country. Must be run by them, or the Nazis."
Back to the apartment to go through the stuff she'd found, then get some sleep, she had planned on giving it to the authorities, but now she could have cared less.

Go somewhere else? Lilith didn't really have that option, seeing as how this was the only place standing between here and the Northernlands. She certainly wasn't going to traverse through the entire mountain range just to get around the city. That, and she had her orders. There was more than one way to enter a city. If not from below, then she'd enter from above.
"I see. Very well then," Lilith said, sounding disappointed. She turned around and walked away, but as soon as she was out of sight from the guards, she would resume her gaseous state - the spell hadn't expired yet, she simply came out of it - and floated up into the air, moving toward the city. She would appear as nothing more than a wisp of grey mist, easily mistakable for a puff of smoke.
