Tsukiyomi Morningstar "I really don't know. A few hours or so. Piper, a bounty Hunter is with them. I have her sister with me. Maybe you've heard of 'um. The Rothwaite Sisters?" She shook her head. "We've gotta do something. I've gotta do something." "Do you know their last whereabouts? I can't do anything to help you without that."

"They're on a Kore ship, that's all I know. Absinthe lost contact with Piper, so we're thinking she's trying to steal the stone. They gotta be on whatever ship has the stone or Piper wouldn't risk a heist according to Absinthe." She sighed. "Either help me or let me help you. I can't wait around and just hope the only dude I ever loved doesn't die!"

I'm gonna go find Tu, and see if her crew's willing to help me bail Eric out. I'll page you when I'm ready. You have his ship, right?"

The Toolness Eulalia Danae The Toolness "hey I've been called Ghost for a long time read about earth history i should be in there someplace... If I take out a battleship can I have your job?" "Sure kid, take down one of the big ones, and you get my job." "Alright now be ready to lose your job boss" Ghost says with a smile of confidence even though the other pilot probably couldn't see it. "When is this party starting anyway"A moment after he said it, a flash of light initiated the battle, as the first shot was fired off. "Time for showing rather than talking, ghost-boy," The squad leader said over the com. "Let's see how much time we can buy the escapees." Small kore fighters began to swoop in, using their speed and dexterity to find weak points to attack.

"This shouldn't be too much hard than playing Ace Combat" Ghost says to himself while kicking up his throttle heading straight at the kore fighters "just need to pull off some of those moves and I'll be good... wait do I even missiles on this thing?" He looks around for a weapon selector switch finding it on his joy stick "Oh good lets just hope they enough time to load out my fighter... anyway" He corkscrews his fighter through the kore craft as best he can.

The squad gathered close around him, shooting past at the Kore fighters moving in to target them. On the deck of the main Thesys ship, Ora sat with her legs neatly crossed in the captain's chair. The enemy numbers were multiplying, having kept groups out of scanning range in order to bring them in once the fighting began. Ora's eyes narrowed slightly, "They truly intend to wipe us out."

"Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Re! Ne! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaadracia!" came a woman's voice, whooping loud and staticy over everyone's comms. There was a sound of laughter at the end before the transmission shut off.
Up from the backside of Thesys, using the planet's gravity well to slingshot into the fight with unusual speed, was a group of about 30 or 35... somethings. At the lead was an orange, red, and black fighter painted in such a way that the features were difficult to determine. It was from this fighter that the transmission had come.
Spontaneous comm chatter erupted. "What's she playing at?" "Who's she think is buying the--" "I'M not saying it's--" "SHUT UP AND GET OFF THE LINES!"
The new fighters were in the dangerous position of having predictable trajectories, but none of the smaller fighters were able to get a lock in the short time they were in range. For some reason, the big ships' computers couldn't get a lock on any of them either--the sensors refracted and scattered all over the strangely-painted craft like radars on an old-fashioned stealth jet, and it was almost impossible to pick them up amongst the rest of the vessels in the area.
And so the "weird little buggers"--as Ghost's commander called them--peeled straight through the Kore's forces, doing no real damage but striking a great chord for morale.

Sean's big hulk slowly climbed through Thesys' upper atmo, it's remote fighters peeling ahead of it, joining the rest of the ships in battle.
The captain pinched his nose, turning to one of the other Thesysans(?) "Can you take over, here? I need to bail someone's a** out."

((Just drop the extra 's', it's easier to pronounce, and sounds like Thespian...which makes me laugh))
"I've got it Captain." The Thesian gave a nod, stepping in to help with the civilian evacuation. A good amount of the civilian ships were already packed full and heading out into space, aiming for one of the wild planets.

The larger Kore ships began sending out round black orbs about the size of a house. The orbs sat in space for a moment, ships passing by. Then split apart, spilling their contents into space. From a distance it looked like mounds of glitter offset by the black of space and sparkling from the reflected blastfire all around. The space adapted spidrills, however, were no simple threat. One or two wouldn't accomplish much, but if a fighter flew into the mist of them, they would be gone quickly.
Some of the younger, less experienced fighters, grinned and flew after the strange objects as they moved into the midst of the Kore. They shouted out a few whoops as well, shooting at the kore fighters and their ships, before being quickly shot down themselves.
In the distance a few very large, but strange looking, ships started to approach. They weren't standard battleships at all, and seemed far more similar to a standard carrier.

"Bunnie Fights!" he yells over the comms while taking down a Kore dude.

The Captain took off, hunting for his ship. After a few minutes of searching, he found it in a nearby cradle, got in, and took off after Hattie.
Mixed in with the Kore ships were several smaller vessels, hidden among the fighters. Small enough to evade detection, but large enough to carry a wide array of weapons, the Hunter Bloodletters began to tear holes in the Thesian line.

Minutes after leaving the system that the Kore fleet was staging at, Eric's ship, and I'm assuming Svarlena's following behind, emerged on the dark side of the planet.
Being as Ima's MIA, and I kinda the the SL, she's along for the ride, as is anyone else on the ship.
***
Eric strapped himself into the pilot's chair on the Star's Light, the Dialanche anchored firmly to it's rack under the ship. He opened a comm channel to Svarlena, after making sure Pen was safely interred in the med bay. "You're gonna want to ride with me. It's a b***h fitting two ships through the gate I'm about to make."
