Dougal's eyes widened at the sudden pain. He fell to his knees and grabbed his shoulder. Dougal looked up to the smiling Adam,"Damned old man-you did that on purpose!!" Dougal then stood back up and rubbed his shoulder.

Lilith stared at the book, trying to come up with an idea but getting none. She had little knowledge of demons so she sighed and look back up.
"Yeah, I'm not getting anything either."

“Wimp.” Adam said with a smile that was nevertheless apologetic.
He looked up the tunnel. It was huge and seemed to go on for miles and miles organically carved out of the rock. The hole at the top was bright with stars, but little else could be seen. They seemed to cast a glow down the tunnel to Hell.
“If you want pain, try falling down that thing with your wings tied together. I’m almost glad for those who got trown in last - at least they had a hundred thousand or so bodies to cushion their fall.” He chuckled a little bleakly and looked at Dougal.
“In case you’re wondering, the enternace takes you out into Chaos, which is the nothingness that lies between Heaven and Hell. But you can’t pas through it - it’s lie an invisible lid keeping us inside hell. At best you can fly near it and peer out at Chaos. You can’t see heaven form the enterance - it’s at the wrong angle.” He frowned sadly and then shrugged. “It’s easiest to cross over dimensions when you’re under the tunnel. But most demons prefer to avoid here - bad memoires and all of that.”

"Well then.....I'm in luck since I don't have wings," Dougal jested. "So....all I have to do is think about where I want to be while I'm near this thing or dimension...thing....or whatever......and poof? I'll hopefully end up where I'm suppose to be...." Dougal was starting to he a headache trying to figure all this out.

“Just concentrate. Since you’re technically a full demon now it should come to you. Focus on one thing in particular about the place you want to be. Listen to your breathing until it stops and then try to mentally hold the thought of where you want to be - gently, don’t force it. Hold out a hand and you should shift dimensions and find yourself there. It easiest if you focus on a mortal soul - they have a certain magnetism”

"Alright then.....,"Dougal replied nervously.
He closed his eyes....focused......controlled his breathing.....cleared his thoughts....
A strange sensation washed over him, but was then gone.....With his eyes still closed he whispered, "Are we there yet?"

he siad this perfectly seriously, but as Dougal would open his eyes he woudl relaise that it ws simply a joke. Dougal had done well - they were almost exactly where he wanted them to be.

"WHAT?!," Dougal shouted and his eyes snapped open.
Then realizing that Adam had been messing him slowly turned his head and said, "......I hate you...." Dougal looked away smiling and laughed then mumbled something about his eight hour count down starting....
"So...old man,
What comes first?
Do we go after Aisling?
Or do we retrieve your human first?"
