Kiara looked at them and held Vane closer to her and inched toward the window. "Someone explain this to me please," she said.

Kiara tensed. She felt Vane's fear and it made her nervous. She shifted from one foot to the other and shifted her weight back, moving her and Vane closer to an exit.

Kiara didn't like having Vane out from behind her, but she allowed it. She knew the Vampair wasn't lying but that didn't mean it was him trying to have other kill his son. She tensed when she senced another Vampair close by. She hissed and stood defensivly by Vane.
