"I do not know. The only thing that I know is that the child's body rejects the nourishment. I do believe that the two are usually mixed together though."

"Oh.. I'm sorry I really don't get that. Somewhere along evolutionary lines something got messed up. You each have ONE lifemate.. and then because of whatever species differences or such you can barely conceive? Thats got to be some deity's idea of a grand joke..." She crossed her arms "I know you can't help it.. but your species is really messed up." She sighed and gave him a tentative hug "We'll discuss this whole kid thing again when we're closer to trying.... maybe we can come up with some sort of solution.."

Ade nodded once again. "I think that our children will be alright. Several other Carpathians in the area have succeed in keeping their children alive. Perhaps we will have to talk to them when we are closer." He smiled and shook his head. "You have no idea, Galiena, just how 'messed up' we really are."

She patted his cheek "Just in the way nature screwed you over... you yourself is not messed up! And see some survived! Geez.. you were really making me worry there. I may not be mother material but if we did have some I don't think i could handle them dying.."

Ade growled, "You would never be an embarrassment. And anyone who told you so would find themselves on the ground at your feet, apologizing." Ade wrapped an arm around her and brushed a kiss on her forehead.
