(a long post considering the fact the scene kept on going.... and Tim just thinks about too many things at the same time.)
Tim stared at the communicator.
"What, who-"
He managed before a man in a wheelchair entered the room. Robin was just about ready to collapse where he was... all the new updates were hurting his head. He nodded quickly to the man, trying his best to appear ready for anything... ready to help. The fact of the matter was, he needed a break.
Professor Xavier, Nightshade had said?
"She's... in Gotham. Along with a few others. We kinda transported here last minute. I guess more are on their way."
What, with the assassin and the unexpected help... It was clear by his strained voice that the young vigilante's brain was worked to the max. It didn't take a telepathic to see that. He was still in shock by the 'disappearances'... the months he had lost, more like missed all together, when he could have been helping.
Red Cardinal knew him, and knew him well. From whatever world she lived in, she was a close friend of his. In his world, he had never heard of her... what if he found his friends, and they didn't know who he was?
At the same time, the transmission from Starfire... seeing Babs...Jinx... they made his day. Out of all this mess, there was something he could understand. Someone he could relate.
Thinking about Starfire, Robin's mind continuously circled back to the other Titans. The Tower, oh God the Tower. He should have been there. Maybe he could have done something... instead here he was, months too late and lost in the confusion. He still didn't see what had become of the Titan's home.
Instead of projecting all this, Tim remained somewhat calm... over the last couple days he was silent, watching others talk, taking in more and more information. Unfortunately most of this news ranged from semi-unpleasant to unbearable.
"Professor... what happened?"
It was the only thing Tim could ask at this point, and he didn't even mean for those words to make him sound so lost. In reality his voice didn't portray how truly bad he felt.
So far Robin had the 'who' was missing, and 'when'.... but he didn't know anything about the 'how' and the 'why'. He was stuck in a circle, thinking about each thing over... hoping he had missed something, or better yet, that this was all just a horrible dream.
(...basically whatever I type out, that's what Robin is thinking... he has a very organized mind, and he processes information very quickly, so the Professor would see a LOT going on there, as this post represents.)
