James looked around the best he could "I think it would be best if we found an oasis....most people and animals go there to get water" he explained before using his scarf to prevent sand from entering his mouth and nose

"Water should be easy enough to locate in a desert." Relako said with a small nod as he pulled his clothes up over his mouth and nose to protect them from the sand as well. There were no animals in the general area, so Relako continued walking in the random direction he had picked. The wind began to pick up and Relako began squinting to keep sand out of his eyes. "Of course, I could be wrong..." he muttered, still seeing no sign of anything but sand.

Relako nodded and turned in the direction indicated. He didn't really care how James knew, he just knew that the sooner they got there the sooner they could get out of this sand. After a few minutes of walking, a shape became apparent in the distance. It didn't look humanoid, which delighted Relako slightly and he began hurrying towards it.

James caught his top hat before it flew away before noticing that Relako was hurrying to something. He sighed before walking hurriedly after him, hoping they werent getting into too much trouble

As the pair got closer to the shape, it became obvious that it was a tree in the desert with a patch of scattered desert plants around a small pool. "Well done." Relako said in a slightly muffled voice with a nod to James as he hurried up to the pool and stopped, looking around for signs of other life. There were no footprints that Relako could see, but he didn't really expect any. Sand wasn't good for making footprints and the wind blew them away anyway.

James nodded to him holding his top hat to his head. He walked to the water's edge and filled a container of water. He then leaned against a tree to catch some rest before walking on. He closed his eyes listening

"So, can you hear anything?" Relako asked, looking over at James. Most people didn't realize that angels only had senses that were slightly sharper then the average human, so tracking nonmagical creatures like humans in places like the desert was almost impossible for him. If he had spent time learning how to track people, he might be able to, but he was more used to tracking demons and other beings that gave off magical energy he could sense further away then he could hear, sell, see, etc. He adjusted the cloth covering his face slightly to better protect it from the sand as he waited for a response from James.

James concentrated on listening to other sounds then what was around. He heard camels grunting about 25 miles away from here working there way towars the m"We might have some nomads headthing this way" he said not opening his eyes taking his top hat off to keep it out of the wind and flying away

"Which direction and how far away?" Relako asked, looking around to see if he could spot the nomads. If they were close enough, the two of them could just wait here for the nomads, but they weren't anywhere Relako could see so it would probably be faster to meet them on the way here. Relako was starting to regret coming to this desert. Sand was starting to fill his shoes and find its way into increasing more uncomfortable places.

"I'm not sure....This sand storm is too loud for me to tell" James replied putting a hand up to shield his eyes from the sand as he looked at Relako "We should get behind the trees to shelter us from the storm" he half yelled as the wind and the sand blow louder around them

"Those tree's won't offer much protection!" Relako yelled back as the wind continued to pick up. He charged up some magical energy and quickly turned around into the wind, thrusting his hands outward to unleash his spell. A transparent wall of energy appeared in front of him, about ten feet tall and wide. It was nothing strong so it probably would break if it by a spell, but it blocked the wind that was billowing into it which was what Relako had been aiming for. "I hate sand..." he muttered again, walking over to the barrier and sitting down against it.

"You got to know some things in order to survive in this business." Relako said with a small laugh. "This is a weak one though." he said as he tapped the barrier lightly with a knuckle. "It'll protect us from the wind and sand, but a good spell could shatter it." This barrier was probably one of the few spells he hadn't learned from demons. His demon hunter training hadn't really included magic since his trainer had deemed him unsuitable for magic casting for some reason, but he had been taught a few basics. I wish I could see his face now. Relako thought to himself with a small laugh as he imagined what his old teacher whould say if he could see Relako's magical prowess.

Kames sat down again yawning slightly "Hmmm......sounds useful" he muttered to himself still studying the barrier with increasing interest. Where in the world would such a man get such a unique and useful spell? And could it be taught to others? These questions were playing around in James' head as he studied
