Darek turned to to Katara and saw that she was out of breath. He walked over to her, glad to have a better topic on hands, he put a hand on her shoulder until she caught her breath. He looked at her with a slight smile. He seemed to be back to his old self. He could not help but smile when he looked at her in this calm situation. "When you catch your breath, you should lead us there. It must be quite a sight."

((I have changed the appearance of Darek. This will slightly alter the game's look but, this is a glimpse of the what a Dragoon form looks like in this RP. Happy New Year by the way.))

Quin's eyes grew wide at the mention of gems, "Did you say something about gems?" He looked at her, eager for a response.
(Sorry about the short post, and slightly late one, been busy and lost almost all of my Internet time. . . again.)

She nodded, and took her breath. As her heart slowed to the regular beat, she nodded at Quin's question. "Beautiful and huge! There embedded into the stone at the bottom of the pool. It's so amazingly...beautiful." She whispered the last word, and turned to look back into the forest. "I left markings that should be easy enough to follow. That is, if you're not scared of the dark." She smiled, pulling out her red orb, which glowed, like it was excited.
A question suddnely popped up. "Hey, do you think that we'll be able to control our elements' gem? Like I'm ruby, you're sapphire." She asked Darek, her eyes widening with the possablites.

*I listen to the talk of running off into the woods and seeing a waterfall and can't help but brood.* "And don't worry about me. Korrin the Cripple will just sit here and watch camp." *It was not an angry statement nor a loud one. It was doubtful that anyone but Kiana and Quin heard it.*

Katara narrowed her eyes on Korrin, sadness coming over her. "Well, Darek the Strong will glady carry you." She said, looking at Darek, not to ask him, to say that he had no way out of it. Everybody had to see this.

*Embarrassment was what caused my cheeks to gain a little color as I narrowed my eyes at Katara.* "But I will gladly not be carried! I still have enough dignity to walk either on my own or not at all!" *Then an idea hit me.* "On second thought...." *I give a sharp whistle and Bull comes loping over casually. When he reaches me he nudges my head impatiently as if saying; "Well hurry up and get on."* "If someone would be so kind as to assist me in mounting my trusty old steed here I'll be right with you!"

Enzeru didn't care much for all the talk about gems and beauty. All she wanted was to be alone. She brought the wood that she had gathered to the middle of the camp, setting it down where the fire would be made.

Kiana placed her arm around Korrin, making sure not to touch his injuries, and helped him off the ground. "If you reopen you're injuries I'm going to hurt you." She said it in a joking manner, butshe gave him a look that told him that she wasn't kidding.

Darek looked back at Enzeru. He couldn't leave her in this state of mind. She was emotionaly weak. He was to but, he would not show it. He had to keep some type of morale in them. "It might still be best if two were to stay at camp and get the fire ready. I will stay here with Enzeru and make a fire and have food ready when you get back." He looked to Katara. "I will take a look at it with you after supper. Ok?" He hoped she undrestood what was needed now.

Katara was sad for a moment, but saw his gaze towards Enzeru. She sighed, and nodded. "Okay. We'll go, look at it, and come back. It's a pretty long way, then we'll have dinner, and then you'll be able to see it." She smiled weakly. She sort of was excited by everyone seeing it, but that wasn't the point. Enzeru needed somebody now.

*I whistle and tap my foot and Bull walks over, perhaps annoyed that he had to come to me, and sat down before Kiana and me. I grab onto the far side of the saddle and with Kiana's support, hoist myself onto Bull. I slip Kiana's arm gently off me and Bull stands up.* "Come on now Kiana. When have I ever been reckless?" *I wink and can't help but grin rather maniacally as Bull whinnies loudly before trotting around camp to where Katara had indicated the path to the waterfall was.*

Kiana laughed at Korrins remark about being reckles. "You're reckless almost every other day of the week Korrin, but I guess it's just human nature to be that way sometimes." She walked over to her own horse and mounted. Nudging Ginger gently on the side to get her moving, she joined the other that were going to visit this gem filled waterfall.

Enzeru had started gathering more things when she heard what Derek said. "You don't have to worry about camp Derek. I'll take care of things here. You go ahead with the others. I'll be fine by myself." Though Derek knew what was bothering her, and was probably the only one, she didn't want to be the reason why he couldn't enjoy himself.

((I have some, well I would call it good or bad, news. As you all should know by now, I am in the Navy. I just resently got orders to Japan. Now I know I will have some access to the web but the transition could take some time. I have a bit over two months left here in the states and I would like to make it past the group getting their Dragons before I leave. I hope to keep RP going after that. So keep an eye out for it after I leave.))
Darek watched as the others got ready to leave. He smiled slightly. "No, I can wait. But the gesture is very kind of you." He took out a flint and began to work on the fire. "Don't feel bad about it. No mater how much you wish to deny it. We all need eachother. Even you. Your not alone anymore. So don't choose to be." He thought for a moment. "I know that none of us can replace the old dragoon but, we can, at least help fill the void he left in you. If you would just let us." He was trying to get her to talk. He did not know if she would be yelling at him in a moment for what he had said but, he took the risk as the other passed out of sight.
