Anatoly's keen eye spied a tiny corner of yellow poking out from under the rubble. The body was nowhere to be seen, although (or maybe because) the sticker had been at the epicenter of the blast.

"Poor b*****d," Anatoly muttered. He checked the Mend 1 levels but didn't use any as he took the Mysticker and applied it to his left arm where the sleeve had been torn by the ice spikes. Reminded of the ice spikes, he checked for the Ice 2 just in case. He decided if it took more than about ten minutes, he would go back to the room to deal with whoever the business partner was.

It took more than 10 minutes.

Deciding that the Ice 2 probably got blown away with the overconfident Blazer, Anatoly returned to the room - cautiously, in case the last survivor of the deal was armed with a gun of some type.

There, lying amidst the rubble and pieces of table, was a bloody figure, groaning in pain.

Anatoly concluded that he might as well see if the man had any Mystickers or money, heal him, and knock him unconscious.

As soon as Anatoly was close enough to see, he realized that the bloody figure was none other than his father.

((Dun dun DUNN!))
Anatoly's heart skipped a beat. Immediately he slapped his Mend 1 on him and began trying to heal him, parental abandonment disregarded. A parent was still a parent to him.

The man coughed feebly and swung an arm at him, trying to keep him away. He didn't realize who it was, perhaps because he couldn't see.

Anatoly pinned the arm beneath a leg and continued healing.
"Relax," he whispered.

"Just relax, I'm here to help," Anatoly nonanswered, not yet willing to reveal the their relation.

The man gave in, too tired and weak to do much else. The Mend didn't have nearly enough power to save him from death. At the last of its strength, it could keep him alive for twenty minutes. Anatoly got a soft warning beep to notify him of this.

Anatoly smacked himself in the head as he did what he realized he should've done from the start. Stopping himself moments before using his own cell phone, he pulled one off his father's body and called paramedics with it.
