She workedhard and did as she was told, copying Cinder and Kali.

Zahar started to hum a light tune as she followed the boys. She liked walking and not getting dirty in that garden. It was also good to be away from Kataio for a moment.

*nods slightly to Gali and then wanders over to walk next to Fauve* It looks like it will take alot of work to get something around the camp.

That sounds like a good idea to use parts of the ship that is going to be scrapped. We will probably need to use the bike to drag the parts we can use.
*wipes her brow and looks at the area they had cleaned out*
It looks like we have cleared out a nice spot of the foundation.
*looks up* It is getting late we may as well call it for a night. If you like we could go and get some tea at my place to warm our muscles up a bit. I will get working on the cement tomorrow, we should have this up in no time.

Chae strode worridly about her room, hands clasped behind her and frown on her face. She did not know what to do. And she didn't like NOT knowing.
Shem would know. Or even her parents. Heck, anyone else probably would know.
But not her. Oh no.
Pacing more, she threw worried looks to the door that had never until recently been closed. It had not been opened since the party except at Chae's insistance to give Shiva food to eat.
Something had frightened the girl, but Chae was at a loss to what...or why or even how. And Shiva would not say.
Her mind rutted in the last few minutes of the party, replaying it over and over again. The fireworks, the sudden panic of others, and Shiva's plea to get away from everyone quickly.
Even when Chae had heard the others leaving the camp, she had not been able to get the girl to move from the room. She had huddled there on the bed and rocked quietly. There was a light hum coming from her, but that was all.
Anyone else would know what to do. She repeated to herself.
Anyone...other than she.

Kataio F Kataio took his hand and then brushed her knees off. "We could see how the building is going? There should be some sort of project that needs to be done there. We have the main houses and the fire pit, that's about everything other then the garden here." ((Sorry this took so long Hun, got side tracked by real life)) Aricin looked thoughtful, nodding. "Yeah, we could. Do you know who's in charge? I have no idea who we should talk to." Aricin glanced over toward the center of town. "Ice is kinda in charge of everything.... But some of the other ladies have taken over some of the basic operations of the society.." Sliding a hand through his hair Aricin shook his head. "I'm rambling."

Ice is in charge, her and Trinity... but I haven't seen either in a bit. Maybe knock on some doors see who is where and what is what?" Kataio looks around seeing no one in the close vacinity. "I think Cheaval's house is the closest.... I could be wrong though. Start there and work our way through till we find someone?" Kata smiled at Aricin trying to be friendly to the apperently flustered male.

Fauve pulled her hand away from Merci, and looked sideways at Kasai. She glanced away nonchalantly and reached out taking his hand.
Merci looked down when Fauve pulled her hand away. She watched Fauve and couldn't help a little bit of a smile, it was nice that she was trying to get close to someone. In all the time she had been watching Fauve, which really hadn't been THAT long, she hadn't really talked to any of the masks but Ashirha. She looked up and stopped in her tracks, they would need to do something to keep pests out of camp. Merci saw the snake, hanging from the tree, she missed it the first scan across the flora, but on her second scan it had moved. She didn't see as it would be a danger, as long as they didn't bother it, it shouldn't bother them.
Fauve looked down at her feet and nodded a little bit 'It's not going to be easy I guess, but it will be better.... at least everyone here will be safer.' She knew that people still had to be upset with her adventures, but she wasn't going to say anything.

Galilee had noticed the woman had stopped. He stopped and looked at her, then held a finger up to mean 'quiet'. He glances at Kasai and Fauve, then settled in step with Zahar. So...what were you doing before yo came out here...to walk with us?

(ummm.. I thought that Kata, Kali, Merci, and the Fierra's all lived in the same house... course now that there are more of them we can spread out really...)
Merci started walking again, this time more slowly. She didn't want to startle the snake hanging from the tree. She reached her hand down to her waistline, fingering a throwing knife she kept there in case of ammo shortage or emergencies. They would have to find some kind of repellant to spread around or something, maybe the larger and busier the community became the less inclined wildlife would be to get closer.

*Kasai's eyes get big as Fauve takes his hand, but he leaves his hand in her grasp. It was nice actually to be near someone. Fauve seemed very nice and he liked being around her. She might be a bit of a mischief maker...but then again who wasn't*
It will be good to get something around the camp, keeping everyone safe will be nice. We got this part of the camp done, now just the second half...after that maybe we can find mine and Galilee's guardians. I bet their around here somewhere getting into mischief.

s'mores sound good. *smiles* I will make us something to drink with them, maybe some hot cocoa. The kids and Merci' should be back soon as well, so we should make enough for everyone.

Nika woke up and slowly got out of bed. He dressed and wandered around the house. Gee wasn't in the house and it was quite out. He was begining to feel uneasy. It was never this quiet around here.
When he left the house he thought he could hear voices. He turned the corner and smiled at what he saw, relieved. Gee was talking to two other women. They seemed to be working on something...
He paused. There was a strange humming noise coming from one of the houses nearby. Curious, he went inside and smiled at Chae. He knew that she couldn't hear him... what could he do to make her understand him?
Nika pointed to his ear, trying to show that he had heard something.

G_E grinned wide, "Smores sound wonderful as does the hot cocoa. I'll go wake Nika up in awhile. The chocolate will probably make him feel a bit better."
She wandered over to the fire-pit they'd abondoned the night of the firecrackers. She couldn't beleieve that it had only been a few days ago. The fire had gone out long ago and G_E looked towards the forest.
"I'll go get some more firewood."

Chae had turned at the entrance and mustered up a smile. "Nika, wasn't it?" She observed the boy for a few moments, the lanky limbs and well dressed appearance. "What can I do for you?"
Blinking as he cupped his ear, she thought for a few moments. "Ear hurts? or you're listening for something?"
The smile was frozen on her face, stiff. She dropped it. "Im sorry sweetie, I was never good at charades."

Nika frowned and shook his head. The humming noise had gotten a bit louder as he entered the house, but not much. What could he do to make her understand?
It seemed there wasn't much he could do so he shrugged and began to search for the source of the noise. Curiousity, pushing him in the right direction.
He glanced back at Chae. Maybe he could write it down... He made a writing motion in the air.
'Do you have any paper? I could write what I'm looking for down...'

"Oh!" she said, that motion at least...familiar. All the children seemed to know that one. She figured it came with the territory of not being able to communicate with half the people living here.
Face flushed and feeling silly for not thinking of that herself, she withdrew the paper and pen she kept in her vest pocket for that very reason.
"Im sorry, Nika." she said, holding it out to him. "Im afraid I'm a bit distracted."

Nika smiled and took the pen and paper, relieved that she'd atleast understood that motion. Sitting down at the table he began to write. He wrote in wide, clean sweeping motions and the cursive didn't appear to be written by a boy as young as Nika looked.
There's a strange, quiet, humming noise coming from somewhere in here. I was wondering what it is?
He looked up at her, thoughtfully and added a bit more to the note.
What's distracting you?
