Watari blinked. "Ha... hai, Bon. I've always got time to lend an ear. You know that." the scientist smiled.

"We should visit them together." Muraki replied softly. "I... I think it'd be fun."

Stopping, Muraki glared at Oriya. "Quit fooling yourself." he spoke coldly. "Ever since I met you, ever since you took me in those years ago and showed me kindness in a world that was falling apart, I've loved you. Deeply loved you." the man shook his head, wrenching his arm from Oriya's grasp. "But love isn't enough, is it Oriya? Acceptance... beauty... power... all of these things have to mix just perfectly. I've been acting, living a lie, day by day because I KNEW that if I showed you, if I showed anyone, the real me..." Muraki looked away angrily. "Ukyou knows who I really am better than anyone... she understands... she accepts it because she and I are alike. But you and I, Oriya... your family would never condone me staying around for too long, they never have. They've seen through my act, seen the darkness within me, a darkness even YOU don't know..." the doctor laughed coldly, "For god's sake, Oriya, you're an heir to one of the most influential places in all of Kyoto, hell all of Japan!" he shook his head again, grey eyes sad. "I can't stay with you. I would destroy you, Oriya."

Hisoka looked over at Tsuzuki, and put his hand over the phone. " I didn't know you were awake.. if you would please.. " he said blushing a bit.

".. I'd like that." He smiles gently, getting up and deciding to break out the sake, pouring for himself and offering to Muraki. "I'd really like that."

He just stares at him for a long moment then slaps him, hard. It's the only time he's ever used physical violence against Muraki, just furious with him, suddenly. "Kazutaka, you are an idiot." Very quietly, dangerously. Turning away, deciding to go get blind drunk in his study, alone. "Sleep in your own room tonight." >.<

He nods a little, standing and slipping out of the room, going to lay down on his bed, letting out a deep sigh. Half-wishing he hadn't made himself known, but it's the honorable thing to do.

For a moment, the teen hesitated. "Is... is this alright?" he asked curiously. "I mean, we're underage."
Ever one to follow the rules, Muraki was hardly sure about drinking.

The doctor stood in the hall, one hand pressed against his stinging cheek.
He had half a mind to follow Oriya, shove him against the wall, and ravish him.
But somehow, Muraki reigned that instinct him, and simply sighed.
Instead of returning to his room, a room that was now going to be bleak and empty, Muraki made his way out into the zen garden, and the full moon's light.
"Perhaps I went too far..." he whispered softly.

"Sou ka...." Watari whispered, thinking for a moment. "And, how'd he take it, Bon? I mean, even I noticed Hijiri-san's attachment to Tsuzuki."

Oriya laughs, pouring for him. "Yes, of course. Just don't overdo it and we'll be fine." He raises his own glass to him, smiling a little. "Consider it a bit of a celebration -- to having a new home."

It would probably would have been better for both of them if Muraki had followed that instinct. Oriya simply making sure one of the servants will see to Inoue and then grabbing a bottle of sake and heading out to the garden. Needing to work off that anger -- the anger that comes from Muraki being too damned blind to see how hopelessly Oriya is in love with him. He pauses, seeing Muraki and overhearing him.
"Perhaps you did, you a**."

" He was kind of shocked, but i think he accecpted my feelings. He did hug me and tell me he'd try not to make me jealous anymore. But nothing more then that." he replied.

With a slight smile, Muraki nodded, raising his own glass. "Then I suppose this should be a celebration." he replied softly, before sipping the liquid.
It was warm, comfortable... and suddenly made the teen cough.

Turning, Muraki spotted Oriya.
A very angry Oriya.
"I understand your feelings for me. I harbor the same for you, Oriya." Muraki spoke softly, his gaze moving back to watch the small pond in the garden. "But I can't stay here... Not forever, even though I would want nothing more. I'd always wanted to be myself around you." he sighed, reaching one hand up to gently touch his own fake eye. "My own madness would swallow you... and I've never wanted that..."

((Poor Hisoka XD Tsuzuki's just got an -enormous- lack of self-confidence in relationships. I can't imagine he's had many, honestly, and the few that he's had have probably ended really badly.))
Oriya drinks his, smoothly, not calling too much attention to the coughing except to pat the other on the back lightly, letting his hand rest there.

He folds his arms, snorting just a little. "So instead you'll just go on ignoring what matters forever and destroy Ukyou-chan in the process. Really, Kazutaka, for the one of us who completed college, you're really not that bright are you?"
He steps forward going over to him and poking him in the chest a bit. "I've been waiting for you to work through this thing with Saki, and I think I've been relatively patient. Do you expect it to continue forever?"
