the fighting came to a hault, but the tension was still high. Ailes knew that at least three sets of eyes were waiting on her. she became really nervous knowing that if she didnt say just the right thing... things could go wrong... horribly wrong. in fact, she could end up losing more than Toole.

breathing heavily ailes works up the confidence to stand.she takes a few steps forward and ends at Toole's feet.

she looks up with a slight smile, "y'know... you never took me on that flight you promised me."

Ailes turned, "Toole? Toole! oh my god! Toole, are you ok... Toole! Answer me!" tears flowed from her eyes in steady streams. she ran over to him and put her hands out over his mid back. her hands began to glow a whitish color as her fingers ran up and down him. he had a pulse, so he wasn't dead and she couldn't find anything wrong with him physically.

though her senses were telling her there was nothing wrong, she couldnt help but worry. after a bit of sobbing she cleared a spot by his head to lay down and ran her fingers from the tip of his snout to the top of his head, while whispering things to him and humming soothing songs from her childhood.

Akuma watched cautiously, she too was scanning him... but mentally. she found it quite interesting... she couldnt find much detail, but there were a ton of things... missing... well, hidden. nothing can go missing from the mind, just deeply buried. still, something was up.

Ailes looked over at Akuma and Lucid and grinned, "we're going to ride a dragon!"

Akuma exchanged glances with Lucid then looked back at Ailes and said, "we? i like my feet on the ground thank you very much... unless i am the one doing the floating..."

Ailes gave her sister a pouty face, "Awwwww, Akuma! you cant let me be taken away by dragons alone... what would dad say!"

Akuma glared at her sister for using that excuse, "fine, fine..." she stood and joined Ailes... "well Lucid, i guess i can't join you for dinner on friday... because we have had a slight change in plans..."

Lucid stares at Akuma feeling slightly abandoned, "what, i can't come with?" big tears welled up in his eyes.

Akuma glances at Tolly, then Toole, then Ailes... seeing no objection in their eyes she sighed, "come on..."

Lucid shot up from his sitting position and launched at Akuma like a little puppy dog who was going for a car ride. Akuma rolled her eyes and joined Ailes on the large dragon... whom she still didn't trust.

Ilyssa took Lili by foot, and Tolly made Toole walk out of the woods before spreading toole wings. Tolly had to smirk; "Don't trust him do you Akuma?" Tolly had picked up her name from all the recent talk. 'Before you go claiming personal invasion of privacy it is clearly visible in your manner and actions."

Tolly bent leaned forward and Toole leapt into a run. the trees on the far side were coming closer very fast. "I want to take full responsiblity for what we caused him to do, we could have sent word, but wanted to surprise him with a visit. Tolly slid his arms up on toole's horns a bit and toole pushed up and forward, the first down sweep launching them upwards, and over the trees. Thy rose ever higher in the following strokes of Toole's wings. Tooly waited till they were high enough and let go of Toole's horns turning around; "If you're wondering, Toole is still unconscious, but i'm a trained master healer. I can use my knowledge of our anatomy and power to overide the basic commands of the body. However, if you want answers now is the time to ask."

"He's seen what disease has done to us before, seen the changes the loss of a limb does to dragons who have spent their life in battle. He's dealt in secrets his entire life, creating lies, exposing treason, and gathering intelligence that has prevented tradgety and caused it. He took his job seriously, but for the 4 hours he was dead. What went through his mind or what took place changed him from what he was. Then it was discovered something was killing him, and another change took place as he learned that something so untested was done to save his life. Something he knew nothing about, and as a result he ended up like all those he pited before. Hate like you wouldn't believe would rise in him when people looked at him or randomly apologized about his condition.

He came here hoping to escape the problem, but instead came face to face with it. So he chose, and chose to tell you the truth Ailes, he was going to do so after Sorrow made him angry in his apartment earlier. You just happened to catch him at the wrong time before he had a chance to calm down to reason. Then everything just kept going wrong from that point, and now all he has is dust of what once made him happy. He doesn't want to chose life or death, but now he has too. the whole past hour is confusion that can be taken a thousand different way depending on who reads the memories and tries to put them in a logical order. The closer he comes to consciousness the better off i might be in getting more to answer your question Ailes. Tolly answered rather straightforward; "I will effectively kill him by stopping every life function that supports the body. Giving it no place to go, no place to sustain itself, remove it, and then restart everything in the course of 30 minutes. Any longer and the same thing will happen again, worse then before, and possiblity irreversible."

Tolly looked down for a minute; "Ailes, as i heard it Toole promised you flight did he not, want to take the regins for a minute?"

Tolly face turned sour; "He has 12 cycles of life left in him, being expelled at a rate of just over one forth a life cycle per 25 lengths travled, at 8 life cycles my ability to maintain this flight will be non existent, we will all plumet to our deaths, to preform what is necessary to fix him he will require no less then 5 life cycles, and Akuma its not something you want to tell someone 2358 lengths in the sky. If we plumted Toole weight and air frame will accelerate our bodies to the point of turning to jello upon impact. The biggest part of us they will find is your leg bones. So if that is the information you are wanting then you have it, including the worse case scenerio." Tolly turned around and put his hands back on Toole's horns. He leaned right and back and toole turned right and going up at the same time. This pushed everyone to stay where they were as Toole turned more sharply, before tolly leveled him out and leaned forward. Toole pitched forward, his wings cupping a bit , as the ground began to fill the filed of vision ahead and the wind increased in speed.
