Hiya everyone! My name is Meghan and I'm new to Gaia in general. I'm almost 18 and I'm a running, softball, drawing, and exercise freak xp
Can anyone help me out getting started on here? I'm pretty lost in the process of joining an rpg and what not...

Thats why our ukyo made a Ask the mods thread in the Verspya subforum. however, since im posting here anyway, ill just explain real quick.
Ok, start by making your character profile, like any other roleplay, to whatever specifications you want. theres not really any limit on what kind of character you make.
then, post your profiles in a thread in the profiles subforum. thats where everyone posts and saves their profiles.
once youve made your character, and you dont have to wait for anyone to approve of it really, you can start roleplaying.
this is where people dont quite understand unless they have been in a roleplay setting like this guild. how it works is, each subforum is its own world, with each thread an area in that world. your character is free to move among the areas at will, whenever you want, and to do so, all you need to do is have them move to the location in question, and end the post with (Insert character name here exits to insert area name here). if thats not very clear, ill be more than happy to show you the ropes with one of my characters.

well, there is, in the verspya subforum, anyway, and i happen to be the one orchestrating it. you dont have to participate in it if you dont want to though, but your welcome to if you like.

Y'all can call me Shizu, as my real name isn't of any importance here. :3
I'm 19, goin' on 20 in August this year, and I'm a college student in the US~ [Hellz yeah, haha].
Been on Gaia since 2006, so I know my way around pretty well and roleplaying is pretty much the only reason I even log on. xD
Semi-lit to literate roleplayer, depending on your definition I suppose, and don't be alarmed or feel you have to change your ways to do the same unless you want to but I like to use pretty posting styles in both the forums and guilds. ^^b

Hello, Guildies, I'm Iris, 22 winters old, and I have a bit of a somber introduction for this moment in time. If you would rather look away, or just skip down to the part you want to read, you're more than welcome to. I have nothing against it.
My thirteen year old dog, Cheyenne, was put down today and I am in the grieving process. She's in a better place now...although, it's my first and closest loss to deal with. I'm sorry to inform everyone, but I figured it'll take me some time to create a character in tribute to her, and still keep up with the other guilds I'm in. I think roleplaying will help me to cope, since I'm trying to get back into it, and it's been a huge part of my life as well. Overall, I really do appreciate your patience and understanding.
There's an undying passion in my heart for anime, manga, novel scouring, scribbling on paper (sketching/drawing), watching intellectually stimulating movies, and of course, anything that can boggle my mind in a conceptual sense. I love pets, too, but I feel that animals should roam about as they please and do what they want while walking on two legs, sporting an English/Scotch accent, and exploring the latter part of Pan's Labyrinth. Anything having to do with China Mieville (Cthulhu, too ♥), I'm certainly down for, and he pioneers the New Weird genre in modern fiction mixing elements of all genres into a published concoction that'll have your mind spinning from the sheer awesome of it all.
In lieu, I am definitely looking forward to getting adventure with you folks and having more than enough good memories to spare.

Oh boy, where to start. I have been on gaia since 2005, my main account is Father Ewan Remington. I forgot the password and my email is gone so it is in limbo until I remember. I took a break awhile back and then decided to come back. I love roleplaying, I am 28 years old, so i feel kinda old sometimes. lol. Anyways. Been sad that the membership on gaia has dropped to 33K a day. Remember when it was 1.3 mil a day. But that is alright, we are the hardcores. I enjoy having fun and have fun enjoying it. I like crazy and insanity, they help the world turn. Anyways, keep up with me, things are gonna get fast.

21, nyc college student. Dance and writing are my life's passions as well as competitive surfing.
I've been on gaia since 04, I'm not really sure how long i've been a part of this guild. To be honest I dropped the commitment ball having forgotten about it but such is life. I paid 10 gold to join and I'd like to contribute. I usually hand around adv-lit forums and i'm currently getting my old crew back together before posting my own roleplay projects on Gaia.
Anyway, i'll be lurking for a bit before deciding to join the latest rp made here. I look forward to roleplaying with you all regardless.
