I smiled at Eric reassuringly and said, "I rather dislike violence." I looked toward the retreating female. Another vampire. Three vampires and no werewolf yet, ah well one can always try to make friends. "Eric, would she be the one to ask if you have werewolves living in your lovely abode?" While waiting for an answer I looked around and smelt something else something I hadn't smelt since a I had visited a certain graveyard. I smelt a wraith, oh I just knew I was going to love being here.

"Oh, damnit, Danni!" I called after my sister, but she was gone. Wherever she went, she wasn't taking any calls. Goddamnit. "Um," I said, trying to think of a way to respond to Josh's question. His beauty was somewhat distracting. I wracked my brain, thinknig of any possible terminally furry...
"No, actually, I think you're the only one," I said thoughtfully. "Yeah, you are, Im' almost certain. But we've had a few in the past," I added quickly. A loud thud sounded from the other side of the wall, and instincts took over. I saw the wraith, wailing away on Sean, and cried out, leaping at the cloaked man and pulling him off the vampire, dragging him into the foyer.
"Stop it!" I yelled in his face. "Jesus Christ, don't ******** kill the guy!"

((Erm, you might want to know that you might not get a response for a longggggggg time. Sean hasn't posted in a while, and I've been bugging him about posting.))

I stumbled backward, taking the newcomers hand and allowing him to pull me up. Ordinarily my manners were always in tact but as of now, simple talk were liable to be ignored. I came back against the wall and I looked down at my arms where the wraith had gripped me, two wounds, not too deep, but a strange throbbing black color. It shook me at the sight of them and then I looked over at the wraith, my eyebrows down in fury. "Christ, you damn spectral lunatic whatever you are." I heaved, staring the wraith down in his shadowed eyes.

My head snapped to Erik and I ran over to him, clinging onto one of his arms and pulling him back away from the being. "Erik I love you but I cant stay in the manor is he does." I shook a little, feeling the spot where the wraiths cold hands made wounds, feeling my skin... crawling? That was something to deal with later.

Joshua looked at the young man he had helped up and saw the black marks on him. "He's lucky he's vampiric." I muttered to myself, remembering the last wraith I had come in contact with. She had been the blacksmith's daughter and a very beautiful creature that could make one forget to breath. The police said she was raped and murdered, they were right about the murdered part, but not the rape. Wraithes are extremely intelligent and when I realized she was haunting the graveyard I decided to have a talk with her.

At first she attacked me, but slowly it dawned on her that I was no threat. It had taken a full year to help her remember her life, but what I had found out had confirmened my theories. She had been seeing the blacksmith's assisant, and slept with him one day. Her father found out and had killed her in a blind rage. After confirming my suspicions I paid a visit to her father and after talking to him he was sobbing on the ground whispering how sorry he was. He looked like the most pitiful being I had ever seen. Thats when she appeared. She had apparently followed me back to her old house and upon seeing her murderer went into a rage that only wraithes seem to possess. I watched as she grabbed his head with both hands on either side and seeing that power I still have yet to understand crawl along his skin and he was dead within minutes. I left that town not knowing if she had found peace or not, but that day I was truly amazed at the dark side of justice she had showed.

Now in this manor was another one trying to kill this vampire. I began to think perhaps I could talk to it, and perhaps make it's vengeful heart let go without hurting anyone. Then I thought that if it was the vampire who had caused this then perhaps if he were to say he was sorry.....but I quickly abondened that idea after all how does one say your sorry for killing another.

I remained against the wall as I watched the short fight. A soft sigh escaped through my lips. I hadn't found it odd that the wraith didn't remember what had occured, for it was the fourth one I've ever seen. However, I wasn't all that sure of how to react to everything, I still felt misplaced.

I couldn't wait any longer. I grabbed two coats off of the coatrack and threw one over Sean, then one over myself. We were leaving, now. I hurried Sean out the door and down the driveway, through the gates, down the streets... anywhere away from the Manor. The setting sun was painting the sky a crimson red, and it reminded me of how thirsty I was...

I saw Eric leave with the young man who was attacked and saw the young lady go into the room she came out of with a troubled expression on her face. "Well seems I came at a bad time." I whispered to myself as I walked to one wall then another thinking about what I should do now. "It's rude to travel one's home without permission." I said to myself. "I suppose I'll just stay here until I see someone." I muttered as I sat down against a wall by the front door.
