(yea!!!!! xd im on and im going to go ahead of u guys into the desert and pass out first!!! yea!!!!)
Koontz went into the maket and bought everything he needed and returned to his room to get ready for the trip. he packed everything up and by the time he was done, it was almost noon. will wait until the eveing hours before the sun goes now and then make my way to the oasis and spend the night there. he thought to himself.
(oh and dan, where r u still staying at billy's house tonight?)

Tavii muttered "Okay." as she shifted slightly. After a moment, her eyes jerked open, as if she just realized something. She looked at Cain and asked, " Do...knights get sick, too?"

Cain thought about it for a moment before realizing it was... a relatively simple question. "I guess so... i mean everyone can get sick right?" he nods, shrugging a bit. "But its alright, the good thing is that you can usually get better..."

Kontz spent a cuple of hours gathering his curage to go into the desert. he tooke a deep breath and checked out of th einn. he went to the desert and setoff while thw sun was just setting. he was able to get the the oasis no problem and didn't have to use any of his water that he had bought in town. he drank form the small pond in the center of the oasis and settled down for the night. it was hot but manageable. the shade from the trees had kept the ground to a certain temperature. Koontz got confortable and soon fell asleep.

((aww--sleeping? i thought you'd pass out due to heat and beg your hallucinations for water crying ))
Tavii watched him for a moment, processing his answer. She then grabbed her scarf and tied it around her head, making sure it covered her mouth. " Now...You won't get sick...I can...take care of you...like you do for...me...ugh..."

Cain blushed a bit as she removed his scarf, and he coudln't help but laugh to see her attempts at keeping him from getting sick. "Please, don't worry about it." he says, patting the top of her head. "i've already had just about everything, i'm pretty much immune to most of it..."
He thinks for a moment. "Thank you..." he mumbles. "I appreciate that you want to take care of me, but you getting better is more important than that..." he nods a bit.

((hmm...i'm not so sure...that sounds like a pretty funny scene to me^^ xd ))
Tavii stared at him for a moment. She then nodded in agreement. Pulling herself closer to him, she rested her head on his chest. " It's..probably best...that way...", she agreed with a muffled voice. For a long while she didn't say anything, only rested as best she could. But she kept moaning and shifting, unable to gain sleep.
Clearing her throat, she said with as firm a voice she could manage, " Tommorow...definantly tommorow....We have to begin our journey..." When she looked him in the eyes, there was something in that said, " Absolutely, whether I'm sick or not."

Cain blushes a bit, holding her close to him protectively to try and help her sleep. But when she looked up at him like that, with that determination... he didn't know what to do. "If you say so, then i guess we could but..."
he sighs softly, did he really have to say it? "I don't want... anything to happen to you..." he averts his eyes, finding himself blushing even more.

Tavii giggled quietly, smiling under the scarf. Pulling the scarf down, closed her eyes and breathed roughly(ragged?ragged....rrrrrraaaaaagggggeeeeed.....). Her face was completely red and you could tell she was in a lot of pain. She looked up at him, smiling as best as she could manage. Her face turned even redder(i wonder...can it?O.o) as she reached up and kissed him on the cheek. After a moment, she said without looking at him, " I don't want anything for happen to you, either....T-That's why...we should keep...m-moving....Otherw-wise...we'll be...sitting ducks..."

Cain couldn't help but find himself blushing even more somehow. He turned to look at her, an obviously concerned look in his eyes. "alright, we'll go... but if your not better by tomorow one more day wouldn't kill us. i'm sure the others wouldn't mind..." he whispers, stroking her hair gently.
"That desert is no place for someone who's sick... i know its dangerous but i don't mind waiting a day and risking it so you can be healthy." he wasn't really sure... what was going on. his heart was racing, and more than anything he wanted her to feel better right now... there were not words to express this to her though, in the end, he kisses her forehead gently.

Tavii's eyes widened. Her face became unbearably hot, and her vision started to blur. She couldn't believe it. He just kissed her! Ah--well, it was only on the forehead, but...but--! " U-Uuuuu--", Tavii's head was spinning out of control. She couldn't handle so much stress, so she passed out.

Cain sighs and rubs his forehead, he made her pass out... again...
Giving up on it for now, he closed his eyes as well, resting her gently on his lap he let himself fall asleep sitting up. There wasn't much of a safer place for her then there with him for the moment... hopefully in the morning she would be feeling better.

(man ami glade to be part of this rp! the heat of the night is not as bad as the day so once i leave to oasis, ill pass out.)
Koontz awoke to the heat of the moring sun. he was sweating all over. man, i guess this is the heat that no one has survived. he thought to himself. without taking off his clothes, he jumped into the pond to cool down and a bit of cleaning. with this done, he drank for the pond, so not to wast his water, and eat what food he had left. he put up the unbrella, all his water in his backpack, took a deep breath the left the oasis heading into the desert.
(ill pass out from the heat soon)
