"Of course", Seifer responded as he followed after Iris. "The sooner we get the ball rolling the better." If only there was a way to find out just how much Menos knows about us. It might be easier to turn the tables. He shook his head, dismissing the thought. Second guessing at this rate was going to do little if anything to help.

Orin smiled at Adele's feble attempts to release herself. He picked up the thoughts of Ellen, and knew he at least had one of them cowering in terror. He drew his massive greatsword, and felt the side of the blade, gazing at it longingly, and said to Adele, "You know, if your feet are what's causing our problem, I'm sure my princess won't mind if I get rid of them for you."

Iris walked into a private study, where she knew they could take in private, "We need to attack attack soon as possible. The current plan is this, send in a sneak attack group first. So that would be the Lightning elementals, the people from Light, and maybe Bloom to act as a communicator. In another direction I will take the two children of Earth that are currently in the dungeon. You will take the rear with a small army from Fire, as well as Orin and the Dark elementals. Violet will stay at the throne room for the ceremony, and make it seem like we aren't doing anything wrong. By attacking on multiple fronts, it will weaken there defense." She turned towards Seifer, "I want your opinion on this plan, and I want to know the best locations to send the smaller groups." She stood by a window and waited for him to answer.

Adele glared at Orin, she glanced at the stone floor, then kicked the bars again. She thought to herself, 'He said 'my princess', I guess that who that girl was. At least now I know who I'm dealing with.' She then opened her mind to Ellen, 'If he wants to cut my feet off, then he will have to open that door first. That is exactly what I want him to do. And even if he is going to cut off my feet, then there is the chance I might die from shock or blood loss, and I doubt his dear princess wants that. She obviously wants to use us for something, or else we wouldn't be alive! I don't think she would be happy with him if I suddenly couldn't walk anymore!' Unlike Ellen, when Adele got angry, she stayed angry, and the threat to kill only made her more pissed off.

((sorry for disappearing! school and track has taken over my life!))

Ellen sat there with her gaze glued on the dragon man. It was odd, but now that she was concentrating, the could almost feel his thoughts pulling in to those of Adele's. 'Um... Adele... I think he can hear us.' She narrowed her eyes trying to shut off his access to their minds. 'You know, if he's just going to listen in he might as well take these gags off.' She thought very sarcastically. She then pushed harder back on the man's mind now trying to inflict pain. Maybe then he would become some what disoriented and not be able to hurt them.

Orin turned back to Ellen, now smiling at her attempts to force her consiousness over his. He retaliated ferociously, mental energy surging back through the trail left by Ellen. The image of a beast consisting of pure flame swept over Ellen's mind, looking for an entry point. While doing this, he continued speaking to Adele. "It's true, you know. I could feel your thoughts flowing the moment I stepped between your cells." He gazed down menacingly at Ellen. "And I wouldn't want you to try to yell for help, it would only worsen the headache of having to deal with you two."

Adele stared blankly at Orin, 'You know she is a mesmer right? You cant beat her when it comes to illusions.' When he started speaking to her, her anger flared up even higher, 'How can we yell if we are gaged you idiot! Were you dropped one too many times as a child? Wait, is that question too hard for you? I'm sorry, I didn't realize that you were incompetent. I don't know why that your stupid princess sent you down here, when you cant even do your job! She must be as incompetent as you are. Now let us out of here, after all you should be used to taking orders from girls.' She continued kicking the cell bars as she yelled at Orin through her mind.

Seifer remained fairly close to the center of the study, not shifting from his position much as he took a moment to think. "Well, I've few complaints with such a plan. I don't see how we're going to get those earth nation prisoners to comply though. They'll likely take the mole's escape route the moment they get their hands free. Considering their numbers at the meeting, I don't anticipate much help from the light or dark people either." Seifer took a breath and a moment to arrange his thoughts with a map on the wall. "The easiest location for us to get to inconspicuously is Ardere Isola. Sugerrimento and Osto Regolare are suitable to target as well. The remaining territories of theirs are either major cities, major military installations, or beneath the waves."

As Ellen sat there pushing upon Orin's mind, she felt him push back much harder. It was obvious to her that he was very strong willed and didn't give up very easily. The image of the beast floated through her mind but she quickly put an end to the imagery as it bothered her greatly. Suddenly she became very stiff and ridged and all signs of life drained out of her eyes making her look almost like a doll. Her mind became like an empty void as all her thoughts became nothing but lines, twisting and turning one upon the other. The only sign of life that could be seen was the steady rise and fall of her chest and she sat there, otherwise completely motionless.

Iris looked at Seifer, "I'm only interested in forcing one of them to do what I want. The other is more like.... motivation, for the other. She won't take the mole's route and leave the other behind. But if it makes you feel any better, I can take Orin with me. The numbers for Light and Dark are increasing by the day, and any one person will help. So I don't really care if we cant get a lot of people can help us, either way we can't have the two groups together. They are polar opposites, it would only cause more problems." She walked over to the map, "Which ones would they least expect to be attacked? Weakest defense? Hardest to attack? I want details." She said, still staring at the map.

Adele saw Ellen's eyes go blank, and she turned her anger on Orin, 'Great! Now look at what you did, you overgrown idiot! You made her go blank! Do you realize how hard it is to get her out of that state?! No one can wake her up now. She will wake up when she wants to, no sooner. But being the stupid idiot you are, you had to challenge a mesmer to a duel of illusions. Not even the best of warriors can beat a mesmer at illusions! Only a mesmer can beat a mesmer at illusions! But you were and idiot and this is what happened! Why do I even bother explaining this to you? You're too stupid to understand!' She kicked the bars harder, trying to give him a headache.

Thinking about it for a moment, Seifer figured he might have underestimated camaraderie within the earth nation's people. Elves and goblinoids were known for being at each others throats for centuries, and yet one of each were willing to team up to put an end to his campaign some weeks back. "Well, hardest to attack would be any territory of theirs that lies beneath the waves. They might be expecting a visit anyway so being intercepted during a dive would be certain annihilation. Least expected would be anything close to Oscurita Corallo, but being as it's their capital it would go under hardest to attack." Seifer started pointing at locations on the map as he spoke of their names, "I already listed the most viable targets. Sugerrimento is a surface farmland, which means more surface area vs fewer people. Osto Regolare is a nature preserve, so there would be even fewer people there. Ardere Isola has some religious and historical locations. There is an outpost there so there would be some resistance, but at least we wouldn't have to ferry in military supplies to maintain the region. Ardere Isola also happens to be the most distant island from their capital, and the closest to our shores."

Ignoring the wave of insults coming from Adele, Orin only stopped his assult when Ellen fell into her trance. He laughed, and said out loud, "Well, that wasn't to difficult. Now..." He turned his mental monster on its heels, focusing at Adele. Do you think I care about what you have to say about me or my commanders? Do you think I care about your friend, or anything you believe? You're just a clump of dirt under my claw, and can be smashed with the slightest of ease. As for your friend, she can lay in her cell like that until the rats are nibbling at her bones for all I care!

The longer Ellen sat, the more quickly the lines began to form shapes. The first was that of a large majestic castle standing above all others, but was quickly enveloped in flames. The image of the castle faded revealing a war filled with battles and bloodshed that began on a beach and moved into the woods. The lines began to create images faster and faster until they clashed into one another to form a blur of emotions ranging from sadness, to pure happiness to murderous anger. Her eyes suddenly became strikingly clear as she glared at Orin, 'Give me my things. Now.' Her thought process wasn't meant to make sense to anyone, and that in itself was almost a defense of sorts.

Iris thought for a moment, "If we attack Sugerrimento, we will diminish there resources a bit, without too much interference. They don't really gain much out of a nature preserve, so we won't either, I'm not worried about that. The only reason to attack Ardere Isola is just to get one there nerves, I don't see much gain in 'religious and historical locations', also we think that Menos has suspects us, and wouldn't Ardere Isola be the first place he would expect an attack on because of how close it is to our border?" She let out a sigh, "If I allowed an attack on Ardere Isola, it would only be for a distraction, while another troop attacks another area."

Adele could do nothing against an illusion, she had no power over the mind, even while she talked to Ellen using her thoughts, she was just thinking, and Ellen was reading her mind, when Ellen talked to her, she could only hear it because Ellen was projecting her thoughts. So when Orin turned the mental beast on her, all she could do was take it and remind herself that it wasn't real, only an illusion. So even while she was being mentally attacked, she continued to glare at Orin and kick the bars of her cell. She focused on that and that only, refusing to allow the illusion to get the best of her.

Orins left hand shot to his forehead as he attempted to read the flood of images moving through Ellens mind. His eyes became bloodshot as he slowly looked over his shoulder at her, and said out loud, "Like hell I will."

"I suppose it makes little difference where we target if he does suspect us. I've listed the more vulnerable sections of his nation, but after the Earth campaign, he'd probably expect another kidney shot." Seifer shrugged. He really didn't have any information on the opposition's next move and could only speculate. "We could possibly twist Air into getting involved in Sugerrimento. They currently have a shortage of food as I remember it, and with Earth nation out of the picture, they would need to get it from Water. Even if they don't enter the campaign, we might be able to ensure their devotion to our cause with the recovered supplies. Either way, it would have to be a quick invasion. Water has three locations around Sugerrimento to send reinforcements if we take too long."
