'I - I sort of got in Vault's way,' Aizel mumbled, head bowed. A small sense of relief washed over him as he felt the pain leaving his shoulder. 'But, but he looked like he was g-going to kill Kat!'
He squinted at his feet, when something peculiar caught his eye.
Was that a...dancing turnip? No...my mind's playing tricks on me...

Kat can hold her own, worry not too much of her. As for getting in the way of Vault... Well, I can't say I didn't warn you. And knowing Vault, he probably even gave you warning as well, yes? ... What are you looking at? ~DMK

'I think Kat was on, on...on the floor. And yeah, I d-did get a warning, b-but I couldn't let go of whatever it was, be-because Vault was holding my hand too, too t-tightly.' Aizel paused, blinked and shook his head. 'Just...just thought I s-saw something weird on the f-floor. My imagination's p-playing tricks on me.'

Why did you pick up whatever it was? It's probably just the drugs... I wouldn't worry about it too much. Tell me, How's your uh, Shoulder doing? ~DMK

'It, it had Kat's NRGY in it. Vault kn-knocked her out, dragged her off to Level 3. Little while later, she c-came hurtling back out, screaming that s-she had her NRGY back.' Aizel glanced up again, and could have sworn that the walls were moving. 'This th-thing, whatever it was, with the NRGY fell out of her hand. I - I wasn't thinking. Just sort of...ran over and, and, and picked it up.'
Aizel glanced over his shoulder, which seemed to be emanating a curious pink aura, and shuddered slightly.
'It doesn't hurt, but...it's...glowing?'

Hmm, well, I can't tell if you are brave, or just daft. We'll sort that later though. Glowing...? Umm... no, not quite. I should have warned you, the drug I gave you has some halicinagenic side effects. ~DMK

*He had himself a little chuckle before trying to speak again*Well, what should we do about your arm here, hmm? We've got a few options that you can take. ~DMK

'Y-Yeah?' Aizel snuck another look at the stump, and turned a pale shade of green. '...Please tell me th-those maggots are another h-hallucination...'

... Yeah. I might have given you just a little too much maybe. As it stands, we are a little too late to locate your arm and reattach it. From here, we can either work with prosthetics, or something on the cybernetic side. We could grow you a new arm, but that technology isnt even in the experimental phase just yet. ~DMK

'Prosthetics please!' Aizel hastily replied, after a mental image of himself half mechanoid. 'And, uh...just how, how long will it take for these hal-hallucinations to wear off?'

Alright then, we'll just have to get a few good measures on your other arm, and we can send out for it immediately. The side effects should wear off some time within the next 3 hours. ~DMK

'Providing I don't lose the other arm, too,' Aizel muttered to himself. 'Th-thank you sir. And three hours? This is, uh, gonna be fun then. ...I guess.'

Might as well enjoy it. You're the first person i've gotten a chance to test this on.
*He reached in his coat and produced a Tape measure, a small pencil, and a scratch of paper. He look various measurements of Aizel's arm, and noted them*
