Ruo chuckled. "I'm afraid I don't have many secrets." He opened his eyes, looking over at him. "Sounds like you've got a few though." He chuckled, leaning his head back again. "Sure you want to share secrets with someone you just met?"

Hiyoshi shrugged a slender shoulder, still grinning to herself. I've nothing to lose here. My secrets aren't harmful to anyone but myself, really, and with nobody in this world but my children knowing of me, you couldn't use my secrets to hurt me. she offered to Ruo, shifting to look to him better. I will tell you one secret...It's my favorite secret. she giggled, gesturing for the boy to come closer. I'm well over six hundred thousand years old.

Ruo had blinked, and leaned closer when she gestured, then blinked, pulling away.
"Either you're joking...or you've aged...uh...really well." He blinked, blushing faintly, the words comeing out before he could think of what to say.

I kid you not! Hiyoshi laughed, slinking one leg over the other in the water as she relaxed against the rocks again. I'm six hundred, fourty-nine thousand, seven hundred and fourteen. she offered, grinning widely. And this is indeed my natural appearance!

"Must be some sort of magic, or something like that." Ruo said. "Good thing my sister told me all about the quote 'odd' unquote things in this place. Or I'd be all..." he trailed off, then make a face that looked slightly shocked, surprised, and all around freaked out, before going back to normal. "Like that..."

Hiyoshi couldn't help but laugh out at the face Ruo made. Oh, darling...I'm most definitely magical, but that face is priceless!

I assume then, that it takes quite a surprise to startle you enough to pull that expression from you? she chuckled lightly, covering her mouth with her hand, which softly muffled her voice. She could think of several things to say and do that she thought might bring back that face, but she wasn't going to be cruel and use them so soon.

"I'm not a very..." he thought a moment. "Facial expressive person. I put most of my expression on my music, and I got into the habit." He shrugged. "So up here doesn't really click with me sometimes," he said, moving a hand over his face, before shrugging again.

Ah, I see. Hiyoshi purred, examining the boy. A musician, hmn? What sort of music do you do? She was finding this boy to be very interesting, in a way she probably shouldn't have been finding him.

"I do..." He tilted his head, thinking of how to describe his music. "I play the piano, and the guitar, so I usually just do that. Then I go on my computer and mess with it. I have to cover up my lack of actualy talent." He shrugged.

Well that sounds like a talent itself, Ruo. Hiyoshi nodded, offering a warm smile. Do you write lyrics or anything of that sort? she asked, pulling herself from the water once more.

Oh I'm sure you can sing well enough! Hiyoshi giggled, shaking her head. Besides, from personal experience, nobody can sing your lyrics as well as you can.
