Giving Kara a quick peck on the cheek he moved to take the reins of the second horse, making sure his things were securely fasten before mounting. He wondered how many they would find if they were heading up north, and it was an area he didn't think he had been to yet.

He shrugged, "Then let's go."

Hard ride, this was going to be an interesting trip out.

Lin waved at the three men, she wondered how far was north, from the sounds of it, very far. Maybe she would ask one day about that. Though her thoughts were wandering else where as she took a peek into the stables.

Cinderella nodded at this statement, "Yes, Miyu, Mom and I will be going, however, Mom is currently saying good by to Donovan. Of course, so we need to wait a bit, since it has been a long while since I've been there."

She didn't mind the wait though, and understood it would be a long while before Donovan came back.

"Sounds like a good idea," Ryu agreed.

He had to wonder how Aliya managed it after all, now that Aliya once more had a young child with her. Though he also had to wonder how she managed it with the twins.

"Good morning," Triton greeted with a nod to Daeron's question, "That's alright, I'm use to not everyone being there for breakfast, it happens when there are more people than being able to keep track of back home."

So it hadn't bothered him, beside Celebor had trouble adjusting in that same manner anyhow.

Kara gave one last wave before making her way back to the house, she trusted that Lin would ask someone to take her to the barracks later if she wished to go.

Celeborn clicked his tongue at the cart horse and the cart started rolling off in a northerly direction. It was indeed going to be a very long trip ... their longest yet, he was certain of it.

He only hoped that they wouldn't have to come back for reinforcements.


As the stable door opened, a slightly shorter than average but very muscular (and very scarred) elf stepped over to see who it was. His hair was short and black, his eyes a light shade of brown, but despite his grisly appearance his expression was kind.

He looked down at Lin, his expression growing curious. "Yes?" he asked in accented English. "May I help you?"


Aliya smiled, then turned and called Adanedhel over, speaking to him softly in elvish. He grinned, and as she turned to take Adonijah to bed, Adan took Feng and Ryu each by one hand and started dragging them over towards a little cupboard that was built into the wall.

"Can you get the game down for me?" he grinned up at them eagerly. "It's up high, I can't reach it! It's in a chest on the top shelf!"

Kara giggled, "Yes, I just need to get the other children that is all. Though Lin will be staying here, she has some..." she smiled, "Interests here so.."

She peeked through the open door to see if Cindy and the others were waiting for her.

Miyu who was holding Toshiro like a doll nodded happily, though Toshiro was looking at interest at the ground from where he was. It was a bit weird being held like this, but he didn't mind it was kind of a cool view.

"There she is," Cindy waved back at Kara, noticing her mother at the door, with that she began to usher Miyu towards the outside, "Come on now..."

Ryu looked up, and indeed as Adan had said there was a chest on the top shelf. He was the one to get it, even though the twins were just about the same height, it was just that Ryu was the one who would be more careful with stuff like that. He edged the chest a bit off the shelf before taking a hold of it. He placed it carefully on the floor.

The elf blinked down at Lin, then knelt down to get closer to her height, the curiosity in his eyes growing stronger.

"You are," he told her matter-of-factly. "And who might you be, young one?"



Adan grinned and pried the chest open, taking out a handful of game pieces (squared carvings of all sorts of different animals) and scattering them all over the floor.

"We have to get Alyse and Adwin, too," he grinned up at Feng and Ryu. "And then we have to make teams!"

Kara giggled as she helped Cindy, gathering up Toshiro in her arms and holding Miyu by the hand before settling out along side Elnara. Wish followed dutifully, besides it wasn't like she had anything better to do, and she was always with Kara anyhow.

It was... almost like a small troupe of people making their way into the valley.

Lin grinned and nodded at that, "And Mommy's too."

Though most would have that as a given, but when you were a vase born child, there was always the possibily to have one parent and not the other. As she had learned, it had been just her Mommy at one point.

The little girl had to tilt her head a bit, as her mind tried to process what the man had just said to her.

The main word was try.

Absently, she thought the speech reminded her of someone but she couldn't remember who at the moment. The wheels in her head finally crunch to a halt, her speech was good it wasn't that good.

"What?"
