The water on his clothes was making him heavy. The wind of the night was making him cold. The kunai fishing had robbed him of his breath. All these things together where exhausting Rokugi but he kept his pace. So far he had not seen the Raiken girl anywhere so he figured he was still behind. This could not necessarily be true since there where more than one road in the village and she could have as easily taken another one. " What if she knows a shortcut? I cant stop now. My body may be tired but my spirit must keep me standing" The girl knew the place much better than he did and the shortcut theory could at all be true.

As far as she had known, she was still in the lead. She hadn't seen the boy at all as she made her way up to the edge of the village. It was getting dark out, she had been right about that. She hadn't realized just how restricting her clothing could be until it was literally plastered against her skin as she ran. It was difficult, but not as difficult as it was to keep her breath even enough to keep her going at a good pace to keep her in the lead. She could hear someone else in the not so far distance and as she turned her head back to see, she saw the boy making his way in her direction. She wasn't ready to give up just yet, so she decided to make a turn on one of the many roads to try and give the boy the slip.

In making the turn, Akemi had gotten herself a little mixed up. She knew she was still getting used to the layout of the village, but she knew she couldn't really get lost. She had given the boy the slip because she no longer saw him coming in her direction, so that meant that he either got lost himself or she was falling behind. Either way, Akemi knew that she needed to kick up her pace and get moving. She had started in the lead, and she didn't want to end up falling behind...

A girl with light blue eyes and hair with a flower within her locks was molding chakra, only a few feet away from her, by the fountain. The little girl with the bunny hat from before has met up with the rest of her friends. The dark skin boy with those weird eyes in white was running. The path he was taking would carry him to the cemetery. A few meters away was a girl with blonde hair in a tank top running also on the same path that the boy is taking. A dark skinned girl, a girl with ribbons in her hair and two nurses in the hospital. A drinking contest that started early at the bar. A place Kanami would have to get acquainted with. That red headed hunk of a Kage carrying a lad whose chakra reserves were minimal. All things were seen at once over a great radius. A unique perspective of the world, but exceptional view of everything could be disorientating. From the normal human sight is nearly 180 degrees just from front with a binocular vision of 140 degrees. For the Byakugan though range of sight was closer to that of some birds. A range of nearly complete 360 degrees with and overlap of images to create the near spherical sight. There was a reason as to why it was not 360 degrees, but that reason none out of the clan needed to know. All that an enemy needed to know was that any movement in front of these eyes would be detected. That in itself was an intimidating factor against an enemy and one of the few reasons that clan members always had that allure like there was a unmovable chip on their shoulder.

Stretching her arms over her head, Aya couldn't wait to grab a bite to eat! She hadn't had some good noodles in a long time. Her and Kana did get some good meals from Vikka every once in awhile when they visited Sundai, but neither Kana nor Aya had taken cooking up to the point where they had extravagant meals and home made noodles. It would be nice to spend some time learning how to cook from Kane or her mother, but there really wasn't much time. Most of the shops were closed this late at night, so Aya had a hard time spotting one. A new shop she hadn't seen before was open and labeled as a Udon shop. Aya did love her udon. Going up to the bar and taking a stool, Aya sat down with a big smile on her face. "One bowl of beef Udon, please," the girl asked as she produced a Ryo from her pouch and placed it on the counter. "With a cup of tea?" she asked sweetly before turning around in her stool to look at the fountain in the middle of the village where she had been sitting earlier. Just a few feet away from where she had been sitting was a girl about her age with the familiar white eyes of a Hyuuga. Tilting her head slightly, Aya wondered if the Hyuugas had once again sent some of their clan to the island to train. "Anno!" Aya called out to the girl. "Would happen to be part of the Hyuuga clan?" she asked the girl with a big smile on her face while tea was set down on the bar behind her. "Join me for dinner?" the Tenmoki girl asked, loving the idea of having another fashionable and hopefully friendly teenage around.

Her sight was adjusting to a 360 degree gaze that had span and range of meters. In a way it was almost taunting and scary to see the world in such a way if you were not used to it. Watching so many actions at once, yet you can only hear the actions closest to you. Of course Kanami being the closest perv (or maybe open perv would be better) would not let that discern her. Towards her back from the left the girl with blue hair from earlier was approaching. She seemed to be carrying a bowl of noodles. Even though she were approaching the Hyuuga girl acted as if all was normal. One thing that freaked others outside the clan was when a member of the clan spoke while not turning their heads or moving their eyes. It was something she learned creep others out, especially if you start spouting information about a house two blocks away. When the teen her age called out Kanami turned around. She was about her age with some lovely blue hair and azure eyes. Her apparel was that of a civilian, perhaps a horse rider, but the teen seductress could tell there was something different about her. For one she didn’t seem to mind the magnolia eyes or pulsing veins around them. Maybe that meant the girl had met another Hyuuga? After all there were a few students of the Trunk and Branch families on the island in the past. Not wanting to be rude and not wanting to miss an opportunity to find another trendy teen to perhaps get some new scoop on fashion apparel Kanami joined her with a wave. “Hello. Yep. You got it. I am a Hyuuga. Was it the cute dimples that gave it away?” Kanami joked with a small giggle to answer the teen’s question. She sat down next to her and had her own question. “Although I’m not sure what clan you’re from? I need to review my knowledge on clans a little bit more. Uhh that is if you’re a shinobi. You are one right?” the kuniochi stated while giving her forehead a slight tap. “Ok. Next time make a coherent question and review the order you ask questions!” she thought to herself waiting for her companion to answer.

Aya smiled as Kanami joked lightly at her right off the bat. The girl was glad there was another cheerful person on the village! Many people in Shimagakure became to serious once they were introduced into the world of Shinobi. Immediately Kanami asked what clan she was from and Aya instantly wished she hadn't. Lately, everyone had been labeling her with her family and it was growing tiresome. Aya knew the Hyuugas were friendly with the Tenmoki's, so she wasn't too nervous, but for once she wished that her clan name would carry any opinions with it. Nonetheless, Aya would answer her hope for a new friend! "Tenmoki," the girl said as she broke her chopsticks as the Udon steamed in front of her. "Oh, yea," Aya giggled, realizing that she had put back on the brown poncho she usually wore as a citizen outside of Shimagakure. It was a habit, but she had been a bit leisure about it since a little bit of her kunoichi wardrobe underneath was showing. Aya lifted open the poncho slightly to shore her kunai, shuriken and tanto. "I spend most my time on the mainland, so I forget I can walk around freely with my weapons showing here!" Aya admitted as she picked her chopsticks back up to snag a piece of beef. She hadn't realized just how hungry she was until that delicious meat hit her lips! "Mmm~ I've missed good cooking!" she said closing her eyes and swooning over the bowl. "Ne, ne. You're training your byakugan right? I used to see Hiro and Micha training all the time," she said while taking another eager bite. "Yuki and Nao felt that baykugan was very well suited for medical techniques, is that why you're on Shimagakure?" Aya asked as she swallowed another bite and prepped for yet another! The udon noodles tasted just like Ichi used to make...

“Ahh Tenmoki. Then your Yuki-san’s daughter.” Kanami said taking note of her family name as well as her shinobi uniform. As the fellow kunoichi commented on the mainland Kanami was unsure what to make of it. She always thought most of the Shima ninja stayed on the island. Yet the Hyuuga princess couldn’t be completely sure. The girl had been on the island during different times in the past. When the old mansion was still erect and even during times after it was destroyed. Yet her stylish mind could not remember any of the shinobi in her generation. She remembered seeing them, and of course writing about them for the newspaper. Yet the diva never had personal contact with any of night warriors. Aya would be her second for the day. As her friend complimented on the food Kanami couldn’t help, but sniff in the sweet aroma. It did not help that no matter how she pivoted her head, she could see the sweet sweet noodles with their smell that was like an aphrodisiac to the tongue. Each piece of beef was seducing her stomach like the teen idol did to men and women on a daily basis. Her pronounced lips let out a small dribble of saliva, but a forearm quickly wiped it away. “No Kanami! You have to watch your weight! If I eat now it’ll be added to all that cake from Shisei’s birthday! Have a zen will and divine discipline! If I eat it I can become F-A…” the thought was never finished. That taboo word could not even be thought of by the vane vixen. Instead she focused on Aya’s question. “Well I’ve come back for training in all areas so I’ll definitely look into some medical jutsu. Mom thought it’d be better for me to train with you guys for a have a better viewpoint of the shinobi world and not just from the Hyuuga perspective. That and I heard the boy’s had gotten cuter.” her voice replied to the bubbly teen with a chuckle.
That was only partially true and more so a lie. After the Meho war, the Hyuuga clan had deemed it unsafe for any of their race to return to the island. Yet with what was going on at the mansion may have been worse. The unexplainable disappearances were still occurring… as they were for the past few months. Before Kanami became the next abducted the clan elders thought it best to place her in Shimagakure. Whatever enemy lurked in the mansion was prepared for their race, but it may find it a lot tougher to deal with the variation on the shinobi island. For now the hidden island was the safest place, but no one outside of the clan needed to know that. The other reason was to ‘return the foreigner’. The elders didn’t want to have Shisei around. “Ohh and we had to drop one of your students back here before he got too attached to mansion lifestyle hehe.”.
As Kanami talked with Aya this the images of all around were also flooding her head. A scene with five kids playing ball, one of them being the girl with the bunny hat, had gotten a little feisty. One of them pantsed the other. The seen almost caused Kanami to burst out laughing, but she held it in. Instead her focus dropped and the 360 view quickly became 210 degrees. Concentrating again the all around scene of the world was back. Her brain had taken interest on the events in the clinic. “Ooo.” Kanami slightly winced. “She’s having trouble.” her voice replied allowed by mistake. That was supposed to just be a mental thought, but it accidentally slipped out.

"Mhm. Eldest daughter, middle child!" Aya said with a smile as she finally started to slow down and really enjoy her meal. She listened to Kanami's story and her reasons for being on Shimagakure. When she added in a bit about boys, Aya was more than glad that Kana was no longer on the island... Of course, Aya didn't lack confidence that she was cute and Kana would leave her, but Kanami's chest compared to Aya's.... "Oh, Shisei?" Aya asked as Kanami mentioned bringing back one of their students. "He's kind of like... a cousin to me?" Aya thought since he had been welcomed into their home and was part of the Orochi clan. Yuki had married into the Orochi clan, but was never welcomed by anyone in the clan since she was one to lead the war on that village in swamp. It almost seemed like Ayumi was the last of the Orochi along with Shisei. As Aya finished up her bowl, she got up from the water fountain to stretch. "Mmm! It feels good to be full!" she groaned in a good way. "Ne, ne. Since you're using your byakugan, do you think you can locate a little green haired boy? He's a Kun Kumo wearing goggles and a katana," Aya said, hoping that Kanami would be able to scan the village with her wonderful vision in order to find her 'charge.'

“A cousin? Eh?” Kanami said although the comment was made more for herself. The diva had started to believe that the Orochi kid didn’t have any friends due to his behavior. He wasn’t the most socially friendly of children. “Fehh… as friendly as a pissed off rattlesnake…” the girl thought. He didn’t speak about anyone from Shima during his time and if he did it was for only a few sentences. The Hyuuga knew part of the Orochi - Tenmoki relationship because she had helped out with the newspaper during the time of the Orochi War. The Orochi were part of the family of Tenmoki, but things seemed to change once they had to battle against their own brethren. Once the war was over the Hyuuga elders had stated that ‘the Orochi no longer have a present or future. They are only in the past. Shisei was now just a fragment of history trying to prove it existed at a time’. Now that Kanami thought about it if dread head was the last of his race it would be a lonely life. After all the last of anything in the end is really nothing…. The girl shook such brooding thoughts from her mind. That would be something for her and Shisei to discuss another day. For now the diva focused on the question Aya had asked her. About looking for a Kun Kumo?
“Heh Ok! No problem. Let’s see where this boy is. Kun Kumo. Kun Kumo. Where are you? Kanami wants to see what you’re doing.” The girl chanted cheerfully with a smile. This boy Aya was trying to find was not in the range of Kanami’s current eyesight. She concentrated more chakra through the veins that pumped through the eyes to try and get a better view. Doing this though meant she may lose focus of everything else. The trendy teen tried her best to keep focus on everything, but it was to no avail. Her peach skinned face had to pivot a bit to scan around for the boy. “Hmm let’s see blonde girl walking back to that mansion of Raiken…. hey that girl is doing better with helping that boy in the hospital… mmm shirtless green hair boy training with Yuki-san…. Ahh eureka! Wait?? What is he?”. Ohh boy… how to describe. Well Kanami would give it her best. “Uhh…. The green haired boy kicked down someone’s door. And he’s with a girl….” it took a while for the Hyuuga diva to realize what maybe happening. Then it her like sling shot to a bird. “Aha! I got it! That Kun Kumo is carrying that girl to do some pervy stuff to her. Wow. It’s young love. Isn’t it amazing Aya-chan.” Kanami stated cupping her palms together with a slight blush on her face. She was picturing the duo’s first time. Maybe it’ll be just like that play Kanami saw. The one with the two lion’s and they played that music about feeling the love tonight. Yea that’s exactly what the two were planning to do in the diva’s mind.

Aya smiled as Kanami chanted to herself. Finishing off her cup of tea, she watched as the chakra pumped through the young woman's veins and to her silvery white eyes. Aya's heart sank when Kanami told her that Kazuma was kicking down someone's door and her head hung even lower when she heard that he was with a girl. It would most likely be Hanabira, conned into Kazuma's antics. Aya would have to stop him before he did somethi- "Wh-Wha?" Aya stammered as Kanami said that the Kun Kumo was carrying the girl in to do pervy things to her. Wasn't Hanabira dating Shinobu? "A-Are you sure? Is the girl unconcious maybe? Could she need some medical attention? They're not really doing pervy things? Are they? ... Are they?" Aya asked, really concerned for Hanabira. Then again, Aya didn't know if it really was Hanabira. It could be someone else! It had to be someone else. Aya's face was bright red. "No, wait! Don't look! I don't want to know," Aya said as she closed her eyes tight. "I gotta go find Kane!" Aya shouted as she turned abruptly to head down to the shoreline. "Hopefully, Hanabira's with him still!" Aya hoped and crossed her fingers. "Good night, Kanami! Nice meeting you," Aya said, her face still bright red as she turned to walk away in a hurry. not wanting to think about Kazuma's bedroom-doings!

The magnolia eyes continued to track all the occurrences as far as her sight could go. The kage and Yuki-san had moved from the clinic and started walking towards the office of the red hair man. The Hyuuga princess could not make out everything that was being said between the two. Her eyes could not make out perfect images when in the mode Byakugan. Judging by the slight fluctuations of chakra between the two, more so from Yuki-san, the pop idol could tell it isn’t the most pleasant of conversations. Her mind was focused on many scenes at once, but the ivory eye tease decided to focus more on the romance portion of her multiple views. Kanami retreated to her mind picturing the two in something equivalent to a soft core erotic romance. Thus her lips spoke back to Kanami in half a dreamy state as her mind was thinking of more not so kid friendly things. “Hehe. She only needs medical attention from a love doctor. They’re not doing anything as yet. Although I wonder if he’ll be aggressive? Or maybe she’s the deceptive type. Putting on the cute act in front of everyone and then once she’s alone with someone one BAM! Total domination. What do you think Aya-cha…. Aya… Aaya??”. By the time Kanami realized it Aya was already sprinting off elsewhere. She had to go find someone? Was she planning on spoiling two little preteens about to explore that golden road of love and happiness? No! She couldn’t let that happen now. “Aya-chan! It’s just young love! It’s nothing to be afraid of! I’m sure they’re fine! Really!!” Kanami shouted like a mad woman. This caused everyone around at that late night to watch as the blue haired diva chased after the medical kunoichi.

So far the only really familiar place in this island where the mansion, shoreline, and the village.... because she had been there multiple times already. Coming from the mansion meant she wasn't going to stay there, but she didn't know where else to go.... so to the village it was. Maybe she would do some people watching until she figured out what she was supposed to do today... With a heavy sigh, Akemi crosses her arms around her tiny chest as she walked down the sidewalk, watching the other villagers moving around their early morning business. How anyone could be up early and moving around, doing stuff... she just couldn't understand. So she just settled with sitting on the edge of the sidewalk, her usual scowl on her face debating whether or not she wanted to start tossing.... or rather "skipping" rocks around the busy villagers.

The day was warm, either due to the burn off from last night's fire or more optimistically to a positive change in the dreary village atmosphere, previously dragged down by so many wars and troubles overseas. A year hadn't been enough; It was a rather frosty twelve months too. But now everything was looking up and Orika even sang (she hated singing!) as she skipped down the village road, her task nearly forgotten as her worries melted away in the morning's warmth. As she looked around, the villagers seemed to share her 'Damn, it's Spring?' attitude. Most were still dressed in moderate winter clothing (nothing too heavy for they weren't fools!) wrapped securely around cold weather fattened bodies. She must have looked like a anomaly, for Orika had shed her winter garments as soon as it hit 50! She today was dressed normally, with a hugging olive vest fitted over a black halter top underneath. Of course, no one could see her exposed back... unless she felt like taking off the vest. It wasn't THAT warm. Hee! For pants, she had ripped capris, frayed near the bottoms.
The girl blushed, wondering why she was spending so much time being... girly. She was not worrying about her boyfriend who was sure to be fine, but also looking at her clothes and everyone else's clothing too! "Like hers..." Orika muttered to herself, spotting a girl with gorgeous blond hair down to her back, clad in only a black tank top and shorts. Wow, talk about dressing for the Springtime! Orika tapped her book, the image of the aloe vera coming to mind again. Based on what she had read, it seemed the most potent and readily available plant she could use to make her burn gel. She would mix it with some water and in alchemic magic make the medicine. Yeah! The girl smiled, not just from the warm day as most would imagine, but from solving a difficult problem, and bounded over to the girl. She looked a little lost anyway and Orika wanted to talk and rant and chat. "Hi! Are you looking for something?" she asked politely, landing near the blonde in a hop. Although she did want to help the girl out, she really wanted a friend to talk to about the burn gel she was going to make and Karite and the fire and all those wonderful topics one talks about!

While she waited for a response, Orika flipped through the medical book she'd borrowed and studied the aloe vera plant more. Now, how was she going to make the actual gel? When she turned the page, the girl noticed an enlarged picture showing the inside of the plant and consequently, how not difficult it would be to create a gel from the liquidy pulp. Since she was making this for wounds, the girl decided to gather the aloe vera from the bamboo forests the books mentioned and then experiment. Let's see... she'll most likely have to filter the pulp, mix it with a thickening starch, boil the mixture, experiment a couple of times to get it just right, then figure out how to store this whole mess. With all the work she'd been putting into alchemy recently, it really didn't sound all that hard! Orika laughed to herself and looked at the blond girl, about to burst in excitement. So, she did. Before blondie could answer, Orika started chatting, "So you heard about the fire down in the Housing District, right? I'm creating some burn gel to help anyone who got hurt in the incident. There doesn't seem to be any major deaths or injuries that were that bad, but I'm sure a lot of people got singed or minorly burned. See, this book says aloe vera's best for that sort of thing! Just... you know... what this random stranger that randomly started talking to you is up to. Just in case you ask 'What up?' you already know the answer!" She ended proudly, if not a little shamelessly awkwardly.
