Envy-san Tru-chan "Highly unlikely." Jayde says, shruging with no appearance of fear or worry. "I suppose we could go... hmm..." Her body straitens. "Yes... that would be fine... The cellar of my old 'home' is still in tact. No one goes near the place. Where were you supposed to wait for Adine? I'll leave her a message..." She pulls out of her pocket a small card, on it is imprinted a symbol resembling a raven in blood red. Envy stared at the card. "And how do you plan on her finding this thing?" He shifted his weight onto one foot and sneered at her.
((two liner! im on a roll! xd ))"She'll know... Oh... I didn't mention how I know her, did I?" She began, her eyes looking upwards as though suddenly remembering something. "It was a few years ago... I had just taken someone out, but a soldier pegged me in the side with his rifle... Adine found me and for some odd reason helped me out. She knows the place... not to worry." ((I'll have to run that by Adine at some point... if it's not ok with you Adine, then I'll change it. Oh... and if any of our plot masterminds wants the "person" Jayden killed in that incident to be a cannon character, let me know and I'll work that into my descriptions.))

"Lead me there, human!"
((wow, that was random-- sorry if it seems a LITTLE out of character.... I just felt like doing something funny... *pitures envy doing that* ha... haha... ha.))

I need to leave this where she'll get it!" Jayden was growing slightly frustrated with Envy, as she did with all people. That was the problem with going solo... you generally don't get along with people... Then again, perhaps that's why she and Adine had gravitated towards each other, if even for a short while... both of them were pretty irritable... Adine just showed her annoyance on the outside.

Minori-chan sheska"EEEEH?!?!" A young shrill voice echoed after the sound of lots and lots of heavy things thunking to the ground. It was coming from a few feet ahead of Al, Ash, and Winry. Sheska, the book worm of HQ, a 22 year old woman with large square glasses and short brown hair, could remember the contents of any book she had read and would write it out for you from pure memory... But for some reason she couldn't remember the fact that aliens don't exist. When Ash ignited her orb of light, of course she had assumed the worst. "PLEASE DON'T EAT MY BRAINS MR. ALIEN! OR... MRS? MISS? JUST DON'T HURT ME! I DON'T TASTE GOOD I SWEAR!" The girl was flailing on the ground, like a turtle stuck on its back. Books strewn all around on the floor. Ash looked bemused, before bursting out laughing, "A-alien? Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, or look like an alien," she chuckled again, "Just on alert." Ash looked at the light in her hand, "Times like this I wish I studied deeper into energy transformation, I could use a flame." She looked at the candle near the lady, "Hey, I'll help you pick these up if you'll lend me your candle afterwards."

Arigato Gozaimasu!" She gets to her knees and bows thankfully, her glasses slipping down her nose as she tilts her head downward. "Um... who are you, then?" She asks, begining to pick up her books into a pile and placing her candle upright, as it had fallen off of the top of her stack when she dropped everything.

Neko Kafweenu Kat turned to Riku. "So.... should we just.... leave then?" As she said it, she realized she didn't want to. The close call with the officers here had gotten her on a high. The mystery going on in the building was exciting her.
"What should we do?" she asked. Riku snapped back to reality, she glanced in Kat direction. "Let's stay for a bit ... I have a feeling something big is gonna happen here." She smiled in a carefree way. Either way we, still need the lights back on .Striding over to the wall, she placed her right hand on a chalked transmution circle. It glowed momentarily, as the lights flickered on and off. By restoring the light, she noticed the red headed girl was watching her intently. Hmm? --- she reminds me of someone... a Eiselstien? She pulled out a scrap paper, and scrawled a note on it. It read: Excuse me... I was wondering um ... are you a eiselstien? in slightly inllegiable handwriting. Dropping it in Armony's lap, as she passed not wanting to rise awareness that she was the cause of the black out. Minori-chan ((Umo... Winry... Sheska started screaming about aliens a few feet in front of you... no reaction?)) ((O__O; I'm sorry, I completely missed that. x__x;;; gomen~~))Light_Ashtoreth Ash looked bemused, before bursting out laughing, "A-alien? Ash looked at the light in her hand, "Times like this I wish I studied deeper into energy transformation, I could use a flame." She looked at the candle near the lady, "Hey, I'll help you pick these up if you'll lend me your candle afterwards." Winry's eyes travelled toward Ashtoreth's voice.
That voice sounds familiar... and the thing about the aliens...!
Her eyes went from Ashtoreth to a woman flailing in place, still muttering about aliens. Minori-chan Sheska stops flailing her arms, realisation dawning on her. "Ah... Winry's eyes widened slightly, and she gasped where she sat, turning and putting one finger up in a gesture of "just a moment" to Al. She stood up and walked over to Sheska, beaming.
"Sheska-san~!" She said brightly, glad to see a familiar face -- no matter how unusual the bearer of that face may be... "Haven't seen you in a good while, have you been well?"

Sheska put a finger to her lips, trying to remember... Win... Win something... "AH! WINRY-SAN!" She shouts, flinging her arms around the blonde mechanic happily. "Oh Winry-san! I missed you! No one's around to listen to my thoughts anymore!" Happy tears stream down Sheska's face as she holds tightly to Winry.

She sweatdropped slightly where she stood, hesitantly patting Sheska atop the head.
"There, there, Sheska-san... I'm sure it couldn't have been that bad." She cast a glance over her shoulder, squinting through the dark and trying to gesture for Al to come join her.

"Wait... of course you do... it's dark here... I can't read in this lighting." Her lip quivers again as she thinks of her poor books all alone and unread. "Anyhow... I'm positive that the power outage must be the work of an extra terestrial! Who else could knock out the power of central city?!?!" She releases one of Winry's hands to point to the sky with extra emphasis.

She wondered who the girl was.

She nodded at Sheska's first question, blinking as her hands were taken captive by the older woman's.
Winry's face lost all colour when Sheska announced her assumptions that Aliens were at fault for the power outage.
"A... actually... Sheska-san... I think it's because of the weather." She eyed the fallen books scattered all over the floor, then shot a slightly apologetic look to Ashtoreth. Upon Sheska's release of her hands and flailing motion toward the sky -- or morever, the ceiling -- Winry balled her hands into small fists near her chest and took a small step backward.
"Ehh, yes... Sheska-san... come now, let's pick up your books, shall we?" Winry couldn't help but smile. While Sheska was insane, she was sure as hell great for a laugh. She took the woman's wrist and guided her along to her fallen books.

'Myth and Reality, the 'Strange' Coincidence," and "The Art of Upbringing: A Guide to Children," then, of course, "Sightings of UFOs." Aside from these three, the rest seemed to be military records only. There was a crack of thunder and a flash of lighting lit the hall momentarily. Sheska stared out the window with her mouth adjar slightly in wonder. "Ah... Winry... What are you doing here in central?" She turns her eyes back to the blonde mechanic. "It's nothing dangerous, is it?!?"

Honoo no Renkinjutsushi Leiutenant Havoc He moved to stand, and Mustang scowled and took the younger man's arm to assist him. Havoc swatted at the brigadier general again His face formed more than the usual frown as he looked toward Riza and mouthed "Will you help me...please?!" and shrugged as she shook her head. Looking to Havoc and Ed, he then realized why Jean hadn't wanted help.
"Well... shall we continue?" He headed off toward the lobby With a glance back at Havoc to make certain he was faring all right, she nodded once at Roy and cast her eyes out into the lobby. It seemed busier than it had a few minutes ago... She could hear Sheska wailing something about aliens (which was nothing out of the ordinary...), and the collected voices of several other people seemed to have joined the air in the big open space of the foyer.
She cocked her head to listen, then jumped when she recognized two of the voices speaking.
Ah, Winry? And Alphonse, too? What a pleasant (albeit odd) surprise. How unusual that those two would trek all the way from Resembool to Central... Then Riza felt her gut squelch as if she had swallowed something icy cold, and her eyes snapped behind her to Roy, then to Edward.
Had...they known? Had they somehow known that Edward would be coming back? Her alarmed gaze locked on Roy for a moment, but she said nothing.
It was as if this sudden convergence of people had somehow been planned... Edward...Alphonse...Winry... The newcomers, the tresspassers, the unknown faces emerging alongside the familiar ones... Riza swallowed hard and tore her eyes from Roy to look back out into the lobby.
Perhaps it was true, as her grandfather had often told her as a child, that nothing happened by accident. A series of coincidental occurrences was not merely that... Everything that happened...happened for a reason.
Riza suddenly didn't particularly care for the antics of whoever it was that had been driving the days events...
And then something dawned on her, and she cast a perplexed look back at Roy again.
"Sir," she said softly, "why haven't the generators come on?" She frowned at the inquriring look in his eyes. "The building has backup generators for situations like this, doesn't it?" she asked. "Why haven't they come on? The power has been out for nealy an hour and a half now...

Al started at the screaming of this woman before Winry and himself, and he wondered who... no, what this person was. She seemed to be as caught off balance as someone who had never seen alchemy before. Then, the conversations kinda went off in all directions. Al just sat on the bench watching as it seemed everyone but him was engrossed in speaking of things random and yet appropriate. I never was all that good at small talk. I think I had better just sit back and wait, at least for now. It's not like I know any of these people other than Winry, after all.Minori-chan [now seems to know Winry, and adds drama to the talking] Who is this woman?
I did not think Winry had any ties into Central City, much less friends here at the military headquarters. Things keep getting more and more strange. Since I have been here Ash has mentioned Ed being here, now Winry knows this older lady, but she does not seem to have anything to do with automail.
What am I missing?Hagane no Winry [more speaking, as friends, with Sheska] Minori-chan [seems to repeat the obvious, then speaks more] Hagane no Winry [stuff about the weather and power, and more talking] Minori-chan [an interesting turn, but more talking] As things were beginning to look like they might be open for him to speak, Alphonse decided to try to make some inroad into the conversation, but he knew he could not interrupt. That be just be rude. He cleared his throat to try to let Winry know he was still there, and still awake.
