Akiko went wide-eyed when she saw the sword coming towards her, and involuntarily raised her staff in front of her. It was a bit off-target (her hand-eye coordination was terrible) but she was surprised at how much her reflexes had improved in such a short time. The two things video games were supposedly supposed to help you with and she was sadly deficient in them.
"What do you mean?" she complained. "I don't have any muscles!" But she did try harder to exploit them in her next swing as she jumped to the side and swung wherever her staff happened to land--though she had no idea how exactly she was supposed to use her muscles. She was also pretty pleased with the clang her staff had made when coming into contact with the sword--so it was a sturdy little thing, it wouldn't get chopped in half by any sharp thing attacking her.

Kiante jumped back, but the tip of Akiko's staff still hit him a bit. He jumped back further. He then stood kind of relaxed, and looked her up and down with a mocking look on his face, "You have muscles, just not very big ones." Hesmirked at his own comment.
"Let me try to explain it another way. Look," He swung his sword arm in front of his body, "That was just my arm muscles. Only my arm was moving, well, mostly. This is my arm, torso, and shoulder muscles," He then swung sideways again, turning his whole torso some with the slash. "You see. You've got SO much work to do Aki."

Several comments went through Zolx head but he kept them to himself.
"When I touched his Kingdom Key I got that form for my Baton. When I came to in that force field my hand was gashed but I had a charm that gave me what I'm currently calling the Star Baton. I'm not sure but I think it a form from whoever we were fighting. I want to see if by touching your weapon I get another charm."
((FYI: No that start charm is not from the rapier, but Zolx doesn't know that. Given what happened it should be pretty easy to figure out where it came from.))

Akiko pouted. "Well, sor-ree, Mr. Ninja Master Guru," she returned childishly. "Maybe I really should just stick to magic... after all, this was originally supposed to be your training time, not mine." Nodding with satisfaction at her statement, she sent a little spark of flame to dance across Kiante's nose, then disappear.
She really hated not being good at things. Yup, yup. Though deep down she knew it wasn't really a big deal, her cheeks were red from embarrassment and cluelessness.
But then, Akiko couldn't resist trying to copy Kiante's movement just once. And that she did.
A thought struck her. Mickey had said he'd brought her to the Square-Enix building because her heart had seemed right for a keyblade master. Did that mean...she might get a keyblade eventually? Then she would have to practice her fighting if that was the case.
But also...Akiko? A heart of a keyblade master? This flattered her to no end that she might have a better heart than she thought sometimes. Her smile widened suddenly at the thought.

"Oh c'mon, I'm just trying to help you do better!" Kiante said. When the flame landed on his nose, he started walking back slowyl as he tried to swat it like a fly. "Ahh!"He yelled. He finally snuffed it after a few moments. "That was not funny."

Zolx raised an eyebrow when Kairi just stood there and didn't take out her keyblade. Again he though of a few choice words to use but instead took out his baton and acted as if to strike just below her right hand. Sure enough the Key was there to block.
((Sorry for the god mod but I wasn't sure if that last post meant the keyblade was out or not >.<))
"K lets see now-"
Zolx tapped the Key and a similar jolt when through him. He jumped back slightly.
"If I didn't know any better I'd say Keyblades don't like me."
He looked into his hand and sure enough- "-Wait what?"
In the palm of his hand was a Charm alright and it look similar to Kairi's Keychain which took after the Oath Keeper. The was something different about it though. Zolx looked up at Kairi,
"Huh."

Akiko sighed. "Yeah, okay..." She giggled. "Sorry, I couldn't resist. Have you ever noticed that Water is probably the most pointless element ever because...I mean, come on, how much can Water really hurt? But it's my favorite..."
She stopped her ramble and tried the strike again, into thin air so Kiante could better critique it.

Zolx had wondered after them after talking with Kairi and was now leaning against a wall playing with something.
"You don't have to hurt someone with magic. It's there to be used in many ways. For instance I use my Gravity spells more to augment my own movement more than anything else."

((Kewl. I'll try ot add you tommorow Zolx, if I get to play. I haven't gotten to play much lately, and when I had, I wanted to play the subspace, I'm right near the end, it's really heating up! I got a new game too, and an extra controller. A late b-day present from my brother. He got me, a remote, nunchuck, and Dragon Quest Swords. It ought to be fun!))

Speaking of which, has anyone asked how were supposed to get better weapons. I know Keyblades get new Key chains and that's how they improve, but what about Akiko and..."
Zolx thought for a moment as far as he could tell Akiko was the only one whose weapon would change over time, "I guess she's the only one. Which rod is that anyway Akiko? I was always a shield fan myself so I can't remember the names of Donalds weapons."
