Watching yourself isn't by what you're NOT doing.
I mean to watch your attitude in your response to them.
It seems a bit harsh currently, especially since you're addressing superiors.

OK, everyone needs to chill the ******** out. This is an over-glorified message board, not boot camp.
Kimris, if you want to RP with rules, I recently donated the gold and set up a sub-forum specifically for that purpose. If it's outside of that sub-forum, don't expect the rules to apply. I'm sure you're intelligent enough to realize that copping attitudes with people right off the bat is a good way to get on people's bad sides fast.
For anyone else, regarding the whole "superiors" talk... Personally, I find it makes people sound a bit elitist and petty. Messing around with new members is fine in good fun, but there's no need for talking down to people and making it sound like you're insulting them just because they are new.

*considers* I dun' have a rifle...I have a water pistol filled with teriyaki sauce, though, does that count?
An' I wouldn't worry much. What maiming that does happen isn't spiteful, its intended as all in good fun. We're not out to inflict permanent harm...I've always seen it as more of a way to gauge a person's character and sense of humor than anything else.
