Yuan smirked. That seemed like a very Slade-like answer. Yuan sighed and scratched his head again. What I got myself into?... I attacked Drago Huiden. I thought I had him. He wasn't expecting it. But he was skilled enough to avoid death, and strike back at me. Our battle was cut short, and I can't help but think that I might still be on his mind... Yuan cocked an eyebrow for a second and looked at Slade. So when you say that you will aid me, but not be a marked man..... You work very well from the shadows Slade, and perhaps thats where you should stay. If you can provide me with information and perhaps step in and aid me in some future unpleasantness, perhaps you can be the silent member of this little team. But alas, I think we need more members. I need someone who is headstrong, and who wants to mix it up with the enemy. If you are to be my shadow, then I need a warrior, or perhaps two. And if we are going to be up against Drago's team, we need the cream of the crop.

Yuan frowned slightly, once again looking out over the vast expanse of plains that stretched out around them. Its true, anyone who joins us will likely face many great threats in the not-to-distant future... You are right that I should perhaps lay low for a while... but I cannot recruit members to our team if I am hiding under rocks and bushes. If we cannot find powerful and skilled shinobi, then we need to find puppets. Shinobi who think that they are powerful and skilled. We either need shinobi who can hold their own, or shinobi who are expendable that we can use as we please... Drago is quite probably stronger than any other shinobi in the land, and his team is not far behind him. Drago has assembled some of the strongest chunin and genin around himself. Kaguya Akai, Kross Tsuki, and Kaguya Zatoichi. All pose problems in their own way. Currently, it is their four to our two... we need to level the playing field. The problem is, most experienced shinobi have already pledged their alligence to their own teams and organizations. We are going to be hard pressed to recruit.

Yuan smirked. Well I am glad for your aid. Now we need to act quickly before people start looking for us. I have heard rumors of a certain shinobi who I might be interested in. A water user who enjoys consuming other shinobi. She is a real risk, but in our current situation, risks are welcome. If we don't have risks to take, then we have lost. Come with me. Yuan rose from the ground in the wide open fields of the Hidden Grass village. He was bleeding heavily, the trails of blood running down his body showing through his clothes. Yuan pulled himself up the side of one of the many rolling hills on the wide plains and laid out on his back. It was night-time now. It had taken him the remainder of the day to travel here in his condition, and he was exhausted. Yuan gazed up at the beautiful moon for a second before reaching up and performing several hand signs. Lunar Phase jutsu. Yuan coughed out to keep himself focused. Yuan suddenly glowed and became almost ethereal in the moon beams shinning down on him. Yuan wounds closed and became scars, stopping the bleeding. Yuan let out a gasp of air as he reverted back to normal. Under the moonlight, the Lunar Phase form greatly expedited healing. Now Yuan just had to worry about his internal injuries. Yuan lay still on the ground. If he remained calm, the injuries would likely heal, since the bleeding had stopped, but Yuan wished that he knew a medical shinobi who might be in the area.

Yuan spoke to his friend without opening his eyes. Don't get yourself all hot and bothered Slade. I wasn't followed. I would have known, even in my state. Besides, I finished with a move designed to confuse. And the other guy wasn't looking so hot either. Who was he?... Well if I got his name I con't remember it now. Perhaps when I have recovered. You wouldn't happened to have become accquainted with any medical shinobi recently have you? Yuan smirked to himself. He opened his eyes slightly, the thin slits showing his purple/white eyes that seemed to dance and glow in the moonlight.

H-Hey! Ow ow ow ow! What are you doing! Why are you dragging me!?! You're not supposed to drag people who are injured. You bring people fruit baskets! You don't drag them! Hey! Are you listening to me? You big vegetable! Let me go! After several minutes Yuan gave up the fight, and just let himself be dragged. He didn't have the energy to argue. As he bumped along the ground, wincing he asked in a more normal tone. So where are we going?

As Yuan pulled himself up on the bed, he looked over to Slade. We have very different styles, you and I. One might wonder why two such as us would be paired together? You with your tendency to stay below the radar, off of people's lists and out of people's minds. And of course me, with my recklessness and my apparent lack of fear when it comes to enemies. But who knows. Sometimes opposites work well together. Just because we don't always work together, doesn't mean that we don't have anything to gain from our partnership. But thats just my opinion. Are you trying to tell me something Slade?

It had been some time since Yuan had been left to heal in the raggedy shack. He was now able to function at 100% despite some soreness and the gash in his right ear, which had healed into a scar. Luckily, Yuan had low-profile ears and ragged hair that was perfect for covering such a scar. Yuan sat up, the fading light barely showing through the cracks in the small hut. Yuan purple/white eyes glimmered as he gazed out through the small holes that dotted the walls. Yuan sighed as he thought to himself. His original power, that of his Doujutsu, had evolved in the recent weeks during which he had been active on a more worldly scale. Yuan slowly closed his eyes and pulled a long, red blindfold from his pocket. He tied it around his eyes slowly, appreciating the fact that he was alive. Then Yuan stood. He opened the door and strode out briskly. While he was happy to be alive he knew that he had none but himself to thank for it. His opponent had been tough. More than strong enough to kill him. But Yuan had survived of his own power, and had even done damage to his target. Yuan smirked, crossing his arms at the approaching night sky. He was ready for what was to come next.
