[[no prob. I think Joey should either tell Yugi and Yugi tells Akiko. Or Joey just tells Akiko. But for either one, I think he should bring the question up. I think I'm leaning more toward Joey going straight to Akiko- only because Yugi might get too emotional and upset. Either one is fine. See you tomorrow morning.]]

Atem followed along with Sam- she was basically dragging him. He sweatdropped a bit and smiled. "He should be fine with it," Atem said. He wasn't really worried about it either- he just felt like he would get in trouble because of this morning. But he knew Grandpa didn't know about it. "Good morning Grandpa," Atem said when he and Sam where in the kitchen.

Grandpa looked over to see Atem, "Good morning." He then looked over to see Sam, "Oh? I didn't know you slept over."

Atem kept a calm smile- trying not to look guilty- he did a good job. "You were asleep when we got home last night. Sam and Akiko slept over," Atem said. It sounded better that both girls stayed over instead of just Sam- it was a 2 to 2 ratio.

Grandpa smiled, they usually did have sleep overs. Besides, he didn't know they were all going out- he would still be fine with it, though he would have to make sure they slept in seperate rooms. He didn't want to be a Great Grandfather after all. "Well then, I'm glad I made extra- Sam have a seat," he said with a smile.

Joey nodded as Yugi went into the bedroom, "Ok." Yugi had shut the door, Joey looked over at Akiko. He wondered.... Akiko went out with Seto for a short while. Did he ever try to do anything to her? He decided to ask her, taking a risk to find out. "Hey, Akiko. Can I ask you something? Just..... don't tell anybody else this ok? What I'm about to tell you and ask you," Joey said moving away from Yugi's door so he wouldn't hear.

Akiko smiled at Yugi, "Ok, I'll wait for ya." She then looked at Joey and moved with him away from the door. What could he possibly want to ask her? "Yea, you can ask me anything. I won't tell," Akiko said.

Joey gulped as he put his hands in his pockets. "Did, Seto ever try to..... have sex with you? More so- forced unwanted sex?"

Akiko didn't understand- more so she didn't want to put the pieces together. "Rape?" she whispered. She shook her head, "No Joey- he never gestured or anything. He never even kissed me on the lips..... Seto wasn't interested in me." She then looked nervously at him, "Joey, why? I don't understand why you would ask that...."

Joey thought about that- he didn't want her because he wasn't interested? But he wanted a quick f***, why would he trap him like that if he could have had Akiko. Not that he would ever wish that on her! Never! He was snapped out of his thought with her question. She deserved an answer. "There was a part I left out. When I woke up this morning, and when I tried to ask Seto out. He told me he was done with me- that he screwed me last night and that's all he wanted," Joey whispered to her.

Akiko gasped. What?! N-no.... he couldn't have. How could he do that to Joey? Why? Her eyes saddened, this is why he was so crushed. "I'm so sorry for you Joey," she said unknowing how any of them could help him after that.

[[I'm going to have it so Joey and Mai really do get along well. So he's going to be happy to see her. Should he have had a small crush on her before all of this? Thus indicating small temptation?]]

Akiko looked rather pale but tried hard to hide it from Yugi. If she was this upset about it- she didn't want to imagine how hard it would be for his best friend. Besides, Joey made her promise. "Heh, ok. Let's go down stairs," she said. She walked away from them and to the stairs. She then sat on the banister and slid downstairs. It was a bad habit of hers- a habit Mr. Motou was trying to break her out of. She saw him at the foot of the stairs and waved to him, "Hi G-pa!" She nicknamed him as so.

Grandpa scolded her, "How many times have I told you not to slid down that banister! Your going to hurt yourself one day!" He was just worried- that's all.

Akiko smiled, "Meh," she blew it off. She then hugged him a bit and said, "Yay pancakes- thankies! Ok b-bye," she said as she sat down to have some.

Grandpa rolled his eyes in defeat.

Joey watched as Akiko left- she probably didn't want Yugi to ask her and tempt her to tell him. He then looked at him and asked, "What'cha do?" He asked out of normal curiosity. He began walking down with Yugi to the kitchen. He was still perplexed by Seto in general- he didn't know what to think anymore. All he knew was that he had to try and forget Seto. Seto wasn't interested- he got what he wanted. He had to get rid of this crush he had for so long.

Atem smiled when Sam mentioned working up an appetite- he knew exactly what she meant. He gave one last look at Grandpa- see if he had caught on. He didn't, he couldn't of. Atem slid his one hand to her knees and placed it there lovingly. "Your welcome," he said jokingly and slightly teasingly- but in a cute way. He raised an eyebrow at Akiko, looking displeased. "Must you do that?" he said.

"Yes, yes I must," she said cutely.

Joey entered the kitchen and sat down- he was awfully hungry. He hadn't eaten since yesterday morning- the longest he had ever been without food in his life. He started stacking pancakes on his own plate. He happily ate, his stomach feeling better with food in it. He made 'mmm' sounds as he ate.

Akiko nodded to Yugi, "Kay!" She squeezed her eyes and cringed when Sam told her that, "Ouch! I hope it wasn't too bad...." She leaned away from Joey when he started to take pancakes and ate. "I want some pancakes.... but I don't wanna lose my hand," she joked and playfully looked worried. She didn't hear Yugi's excuss he gave Joey. She figured he needed to get something or other. She smiled when he sat next to her. She too felt a mixture of relief and displeasure from when they were interupted. She was scared a bit, but Yugi was comfy when he layed on her.

"But hands taste so well on my pancakes," he joked back.

Akiko looked away from him poutingly and whimpered, "Hmph!"

Atem looked sad when Sam said she fell, "Aww," he said kissing her forehead as if kissing an injury to make it go away. He smiled a bit, seeing Joey was starting to act a little like himself again. They were all friends, and they would all do anything to help one another. As for him and Sam before, at that time and moment when they were disrupted- he wished they could just continue. But when he snapped out of it, he realized that the interuption was needed. He felt that he lost control and couldn't stop himself. Deep down- he could if she asked, but he was willing to keep going further and further while Sam may have not been. He was a guy afterall- deep down he was willing to go all the way with Sam. But he would wait, only when she was ready. It was worth waiting- and he was loyal enought to wait and never leave because or an offer from another girl. He knew in his heart- if he could have it his way- he would be with Sam forever.

[[I guess as soon as they all are done with breakfast she can walk in. Now, should they plan to go to the mall then Akiko actually gets a call from Seto on her cell phone- goes there to talk with him while the others are at the mall and she meets up with them afterwards? Or did you have something else in mind?]]

Akiko laughed out loud when Sam said Seto broke her fall. She didn't realize that that may have reminded Joey about Seto and his unfortunate situation. But it was funny to visualize Seto breaking her fall and him getting angry. Akiko grabbed a few pancakes and started to eat. "Yay for the mall! I second it," she said. "Nothing is better then window shopping, and perhaps slidding down the escalaor!" she joked.

Atem looked at Akiko, "Don't slide down that!"

"You won't do it!" Joey teased her.

"Your on!" Akiko said but then laughed. "No, your right, I wouldn't- that's much too high," she giggled.

Atem rolled his eyes. He he had almost chuckled himself when Sam meantioned Kaibda breaking her fall- but he too thought not to remind Joey of him. "Oh sure, the mall sounds fine. How about you Sam?" he said. He didn't mind going to the mall- sounded like fun. He wanted to buy something for Sam, but it was hard to buy for somebody who had so much. Even so, she probably wouldn't let him get anything for her, well maybe. As for the mall, he enjoyed this one store that sold anything and everything duel monsters. However, Grandpa wasn't too keen on them going since it was 'feeding into the competision'.

Joey frowned slightly at the Seto's name. It was going to be hard to forget about it, but at least he was trying. He stabbed at the pancake slightly harder, he had made him upset, but angry at the same time. He snapped out of it though rather quickly, not showing too much of a sign of aggravation. Though, he was too caught up in thought to answer about the mall.

Atem smiled and nodded, "Ok, then mall it is." He too was excited to spend more time with Sam. He should be carefull though, all this continual time with her may make it harder when they have to be apart. Even after a whole day and night with her, he couldn't shake the sad thought of loneliness when she was away. It made him feel a little silly actually. She wasn't going anywhere. But he loved her company so, and now that she was his- he could be with her on a whole new dimension. Just to have her in his arms makes him feel ten times better- as if that was all that he needed. "Sam, where did that little kuriboh [no pun intended] doll go?" Atem asked curiously. He saw it last night and that was it. It was a nice doll, he remembered it when he thought about the mall and getting Sam stuff.

"You have a kuriboh doll?" Joey said. Anything duel monsters got his attension. He then smirked and said, "Heh, I can't picture with a stuff animal for some reason. Your not cutesy like that." Joey always saw Sam as a tough girl- and she was. But because of that, he never imagined her having [or wearing] girly stuff.

"Don't listen to him, I think it's a cool stuff animal," Akiko smiled. She looked up at the ceiling and said, "I left Kitsu up there.... she was on the bed all night." Akiko stopped before she said that the stuffed animal had the bed to itself the whole night. It was probably a good idea since Grandpa was down stairs.

Joey asked confused, "What's a kitsu?"

"My stuffed animal fox," she replied.

"You... named it?" Joey sweatdropped. "That's weird.... like what that girl Rebecca did.... right Yug?" he said.

[[Just on a side note, does Yugi, Atem, and Joey know about Sam's past? About the orphanage or anything? If they don't- perhaps during an arguement with Atem she can open up and tell him or something. Or it doesn't even have to be a fight. If you want, it can be like a sentimental discussion between the two. I just thought I would meantion it.]]

[[Chicken Alfredo is good, but your tummy thinks otherwise! lolz, my friend does that with cheese and she's lactose tolerant (can't spell) but she still eats it. As for the creativity- we can take a break if you want- that usually helps me. I dunno, it's up to you, I just don't want to push you.

As for the fight thing, they can get into a fight with the fan girls and maybe Sam could bring up her past that way. Something like, "You don't like me because *insert past here*" I dunno, I've seen lots of fights between people and usually they yell because the truth is is that they are scared. I dunno, maybe I analyze too much -.- ]]

Joey recoiled back and gave a quirky smile. "You..... you know what I mean," he said with a sweatdrop. He thought she would punch him for that. He sighed in relief when she understood what he meant.

Atem thought back, that's right- he picked her up and carried her last night. Thus leaving behind the stuffed kuriboh. He scooted closer to her as well and said, "I think your cute." He said giving her a small kiss. He looked up to see Mai. "Mai, what a surprise- how are you?" he said having no clue she was coming over.

Joey teased Atem by repeating what he said in a silly tone of voice. Atem gave him a playfull glare but Joey only saw Mai come in. "Mai!" he said in a brighter tone, "I haven't seen you in so long!" He missed seeing Mia, it really has been a while since he saw her.

Akiko smiled at Yugi, getting what he meant. She was about to hug him when somebody walked through the door. She had seen this girl a few time- she guessed she was cool. Everybody seemed to greet her kindly- unlike Tea where the group was basically divided. "Oh, hello," she said in a chirp to join in greeting her.

Akiko couldn't help but smile when Mai meantioned America. She grew up there afterall- she missed it a bit. Out of all the places in the world, she loved Japan, America, and Greece. One day she wanted to go to Italy, she loved Italiant food! "Wow, sounds like you get to go everywhere! That's so cool!" she said happily, "How did you like the states?" In hearing Sam, Akiko figured she would get changed next after she came out.

Atem nodded as Sam left. With a smile, he said, "Ok." He then smirked as Mai meantioned tournaments. He hadn't been one in a while- he kind of missed the atmosphere- the challenges. "No, not in a while. Though I wouldn't mind entering the next tournament that comes around," he said. It was really his favorite topic, besides Sam, friends, Egypt, and other games out there.

"Did you win!?" he said hoping she would say yes. "We all haven't been in any tournaments in a while. God that would be great to enter in one! All of us together? That would be one crazy tournament!," he said happily. Duel monsters was also a favorite topic of Joey's. He was happy in general to see Mai though. Yes she was a good friend of his, but he did have a small crush on her. Before he came out of the closet that is. Even now, he had some feelings for her- but they would never really be true. In fact, it was either between Mai and Sam that he was going to go out with. But he choose Sam because they were closer at the time, and because of Seto. But Seto was at the back of Joey's mind right now. Still there, but on the back burner.

"Oooo a black jack tournament?" Akiko said thinking it was that.

"No, not black jack. Duel monsters- wrong card game," Joey said as Akiko tilted her head slightly.
