I'm Treacle, I'm 15, and I'm about to be a sophmore in high school. My love for Japan definitely came from when I started watching anime (Sailor Moon, Speed Racer, Dragon Ball...I was 6...good times...). I began getting really interested in Japan when I was about 12, and I've been learning to speak Nihongo for about a year and a half. At this point, I can say very, very, basic sentences. I'm slowly improving though. I think joining this guild will help alot.

Hey everyone! My name is Chelsea. You can call me Moomoo if you like, or make up your own nickname. xD I'm 14 years old and ever since I was a little kid I've been learning Japanese. That's of course with the help of my grandma ((who is full Japanese)), parents, subtitles, books, ect. Hopefully being in this guild will prove to be as useful! As soon as summer ends I'll be taking Japanese in high school. So...yeah, I'm 1/4 Japanese and I wear my Asian pride. I'm finally going to Japan at the end of this month! heart
Some things you may want to know about me you may want to know...I can be a spaz sometimes and other times really understanding. It all really depends.
I'm an anime freak. Though I've only been to one convention that was one of the funnest times of my life, and OMG I actually fit in! xD
I know I forgot a lot of other stuff I was going to say, but sooner or later some of you will find out. *thinks* Yeah I lost it. xD Anyways!

I'm 14 and I've been in love with Japan since I was about 4, however, I haven't had the opportunity to learn the language until about a year ago.
(School got in the way of my learning last year, but I know basic sentences and such.)
I know this guild is going to help me a lot in learning more Japanese...
anything random about me you'd like to know:
I'm learning four other languages right now along with Japanese. ._.
I like the rainbow.
I like dragons.
I like furries&some anime/manga.
I hate when you find something and a week later everyone else does/it becomes this annoying trend.

Ohayou gozaimasu! Watashi no namae wa Sarina desu.Yoroshiku. Juuroku sai desu. Watashi wa Nihon-jin desu. Watashi wa nihon-go no benkyoo o shimasu. I'm not great in Japanese lol but I'm still trying I just started learning the language in May so I'm trying to learn as mich as possible. I see me living in Japan after college and going into animation there. I love everything about Japan and I intend and learning alot about my favorite place in the world.

Hey everybody!
I just graduated from Bridgewater State College in MA, USA and am planning to move to Japan for work. I got accepted to the JET program and will be an Assitant Language Teacher in a junoir high school.
My hometown has a sister city on Shikoku, which was the start of my fascination with Japan. A 2 week trip there 2 years ago promted me to study the language and everything has been growing since then.
Was looking for a free online game, and I found this one, after years of playing other MMORPGs, this looked really cool. I love all the clothes and customization for your avatar.

My name is Jean, and I'm 22 years old. I've been interested about Japanese culture since my early teens. I happened to pick up a book in my library that had Japanese myths and stories. Now I'm learning Japanese in order to be able to decipher at least a page of my favorite author, Haruki Murakami.

I'm a girl that is 15 years old. Became intrested in Japan and Japanese because of anime and they make so many good games heart . I can almost read all hiragana and katakana (Though most of the time I have no idea what the word means I read hiragana xd ) Trying to learn kanji but it's hard.

Hiya! I go by the name Kaiya and I'm 17 years old. Japan has been my topic of interest for almost 5 years now. Once I start and finish college I hope to get a job as a Marine Biologist in Japan. Hello, my name is Michael, I'm 21 years old. I've joined the guild in the hopes of using it as another means to learn Japanese. I have been wanting to learn a second language for some time and Japanese has always been the one I've considered the most interest to pursue.
Anime and Manga has spawned much of my interest for Japan and tid-bits of the culture I've read/heard about.
Heh, so currently my interest to learn the language comes from the hope of being able to sit down to one of my anime in time and watch it completely in Japanese and understand it. If I ever get around to travel I would like to visit Japan and get to actually interact with the people rather than just be a tourist, knowing the language will be key to this dream.
I am starting from scratch, this guild and the few books I have are currently my learning material. When I get a basic idea and if my interest holds I may pay for courses to further improve my ability in Japanese. I hope that I can build that base and expand upon it along with everyone else here.
