Aiko had the urge to help Fay as he hear the gasp but he turned his head away and walked quietly, placeing his things on the bed farthest from the priest. He wasnt supposed to touch any of his people. He recited the vow he had been forced to make five years ago. He was not to speak, touch or even look at any of his people ever again or he would pass the darkness onto them.

Talo rubbed his eyes. "Did you sleep okay Fay?" Talo asked. "Oh yeah, Aiko, this is fay!" he said with a bright smile.

Fay instantly did the cleansing gesture, he nodded at Aiko, becuase there was nothing in the rules that said he couldn't. Dark circles marred under his eyes, the small amount of sleep not helping in the least.

Aiko ducked his head avoiding Fays eyes and grabbing the last of his things. He was upset that he couldnt even greet the first of his people he had seen in five years but he didnt say anything. Sharu had been sitting with Elane and he crooned sorrowfully, knowing his friends was upset. He looked at Fay and growled softly before turning away.

Talo frowned a little. "Hey! Thats not how you say hello!" he said.

Fay stood up. He could tell that aiko was not comfortable with his presence. He moved towards the bathroom, hoping to wash his face. He took a change of clothes with him as well.

Aiko smiled a little at Talo. "Don't worry, we already know each other." he said and sat downon the bed, he slipped off his robe, looking over his bandaged arms before flopping back on the bed.

Talo sighed. "Oh." he said and dropped the topic. "Did you get hurt to? Do you want something?"

Fay moved into the bathroom and washed his face. He then moved to go into a changing stall. He started to unrobe slowly, skin pulling as it was caught on the robe. Hissing softly he accepted the pain, his eyes closed. He was very modest, Darren had gently teased him about it when he'd seen Fay wasn't even willing to look at himself in a full mirror.

"I'm fine, doesnt hurt at all." he said and shifted to lie down on his side. Sharu flew down and curled up next to Aiko.

Fay came out of the bathroom some time later, he was wearing a differant set of robes, he walked over to his bed and sat down crosslegged on it, a very painful position. He closed his eyes and attempted to relax enough to start his meditation

Aiko glanced at Fay and than rolled over so that he would not do it again. He closed his eyes and opened his shields little, feeling the energy that all priest radiated, it was soothing though he could feel an edge of sharp pain to it.

Fay shifted, his pain increasing momentarily. He forced it behind a barrier in his mind, taking in a deep soothing breath, his hand relaxed on top of his lap as he went through the breathing excercises.

Aiko felt the pain increase and winced, slamming his shields shut and stroking Sharu slowly, a piece of the bandages catching on Sharu's scales everyonce and awhile. He didnt know how it would turn out with Fay around, he techniqally was not supposed to talk at all with the priest there so he would have to find a way to work around that.
