Shinji kept Lena's hand in his own, and smiled against her lips. He moved closer, still holding her hand.

Lena brushed Shinji's cheek with her free hand as she tilted her head some, she let her eyes fall softly shut.

Shinji blushed softly as Lena brushed his cheek, and he tilted his head into the kiss some. It felt so wonderful to be alone with her, not worrying about anything anymore. He wanted to let the feeling linger as long as he could, and still held her hand in his own.

Lena kept her lips softly against Shinji's a bit longer, before breaking the kiss just barely as she muttered "I love you..."

Lena smiled against his lips as she titled her head into the kiss, moving a hand through his hair.

Shinji sighed against Lena, moving to gently rest himself against her against the tree. He kissed her a moment longer before pulling back, resting to the ground infront of her, offering her a shy smile. You know, I think we do that more than we do anything else...he laughed, pulling her hand to meet his lips again.

Lena smiled as Shinji kissed her hand once more. She thought about what he'd said for a moment, before replying with a giggle"we do, don't we..."

Shinji grinned some, and nodded again. Yes...He kissed Lena's hand once more and shifted to sit crosslegged facing her. So...it's christmas eve...he smiled softly, still holding her hand in his lap. I don't suppose you'd want to come and have dinner with me and my family, would you? he had a rather taunting tone of voice, and a smirk on his lips. He knew she didn't much care for Sakura, but frankly, neither did he. He held her hand between his and looked to her, letting his father mentally prod him for an answer.

Almost as if in relief, Shinji sighed, and pulled Lena's hand to kiss it again. Thank you...he breathed, chuckling to himself. It won't be until a little later...as my father's still trying to wrangle my siblings...so we have a little time. He held Lena's hand close to his lips still, and moved his eyes up her arm and over her shoulder to meet her lips before moving to gaze to her eyes.

Shinji chuckled to himself and returned the soft kiss. He had to admit, that while they did do that a -lot-, he didn't mind.

Lena smiled to Shinji as she pulled away after a moment. She shifted some to sit closer to him and rested her head agianst his shoulder.
