I know what it's like to try and play anything by Les Claypool and fail miserably, though I bet you've been playing quite a bit longer than I have. Well, now I'm listening to Bill Bruford and Tony Levin- Drum and Bass Solo, Levin rivals Flea in quickness. I don't like slap bass for some strange reason, all except james dewar, in his later years...he was cool...and that had nothing to do with primus sad

Well, now I'm listening to Bill Bruford and Tony Levin- Drum and Bass Solo, Levin rivals Flea in quickness. have you been playing less then 6 mouths? thats about how long ive been playing... orgy-blue monday I've been playing for about a year, though I'm not very dedicated, only practice about an hour or less a day, though now that I'm in a band I'll have to practice much more, and I looked up tabs (yes, sigh, tabs) for Ballad of Bodacious, it's really not as hard as I believed, but if you played Tommy the Cat I would be really impressed.
