The demon lion could feel the power flowing through his veins. Older appearance or not, he had the strength and speed of any young person, and would easily demonstrate that to anyone who dared cross paths with him, in his pursuit of the Hokage. Despite the extreme flow of chakra he was raidiating from his person, he had not yet begun to fight, a common misconception when one can mask their power. It felt good to be alive once again, a feeling he would not let be taken away by several foolish shinobi, genin or Hokage. Nothing would matter, all who opposed would be killed. And, despite knowing this, a few ninja dared to show themselves, attacking head on. No matter, they would simply be made an example of, to show and scare the other ninja into submission, making his job all the easier. In fact, One of those brave ninja was coming towards him, trying to attack from behind. Yes, the demon thought, first blood.
"Insolent fool, get from behind me, lest you be cut down even quicker. I suggest you go into hiding, before I destroy you, and that pitiful sword you possess. Tell that foolish demon to bind his tongue, lest I pull him out of that weapon, and cut him down myself. The same goes for those who are hiding, includign that foolish squad. I possess superior senses, and can see right through your pitiful facade, pretending to be brave in the face of danger. Fools, your end shall be the defining moment of your lives, your greatest accomplishment coming in death."
Moving quickly, the demon made a single hand sign, yelling out "Earth release: Eternal wave of sand!" Instantly, the ground beneath him turned into a blood red pool of sand, which was further extending outward toward all those around him. The sand was littered with various bladed weapons, which could be shot out at anytime by the demon.
The young student had asked a question, approaching the Hokage, his sensai. "We will attack head on. From afar, we will only be playing right into his hand, as he becomes the cat in the game of cat and mouse. He will simply use his jutsu to capture us. No, we fight full on, able to see his attack, he also seeing ours. We must be careful, one wrong move, and we will be killed. Now, let is depart from here."
The Hokage walked toward the door, with Shin and Fiyo following suit. As he reached for the door, it opened without him touching it. Swinging open, what lay on the other side of the door were three men, wearing straw hats, laden with fake, white hair. Underneath, the men were wearing pitch black, full body cloaks, with blue crescent moons upon them, adorned with silver clouds. They looked at the group saying nothing. No matter, the Hokage already knew who they were.
"Zongetsi." He said solemnly, jumping back, the others following suit, as the three men walked into the room, the door slowly shutting behind them.

Move, boy, or die in the sand! Arito felt his body move on its own and leap up in the air as the sand spread further from the demon's feet. He felt chakra sulrge from his body into and through the sand, creating a shell of diamond under the earth, and pulling it to the surface. The shell flew up to Arito's position, allowing him to land on it, above the sand.
'What did you just do?' The sand is dangerous, boy. Standing in it would be certain death. 'Hold on. You saved my life.' Make nothing of it, boy. The sand would kill me as well. 'Right, right. Whatever you say,' Arito thought, smirking to himself.
Floating above the sands, Arito observed the situation. It seemed the sand was thouroughly churning, probably under control of the two-tails. And the weapons sticking out of the earth didn't bode well either.
'What to do about this?' Allow me to take over to some extent. If I can have some control, the power I can give you will grow tenfold! 'Would that be enough to fight effectively against the two-tails?' Animus remained silent, and Arito sighed.
Boy, there is one other way I could offer you more power. 'What is it?' You must throw away these thoughts of righteous battle and duty. If you really want to activate my power, you must enjoy the battle. Quench that neverending desire to kill and main. All creatures have this desire, but your pitiful human ethics prevent you from truly enjoying those wicked deeds.
'Oh, boy. You're joking.' Not at all, boy. Become like that wolf-girl. Satisfy that carnal desire inside of you to destroy, and my powers can really let loose.
Arito sighed. 'Fine. I'll see what I can do.'
Arito focused on the old man at the center of the pit. He thought of many, violent images. He thought of heinous things that he would do to torture such a monster. He thought of the praise he would recieve upon reporting his victory. No room for that, boy. True bloodthirst comes from the act of doing so without a reason.
Arito groaned. This would be harder than he thought. Then he thought of the power. The power he recieved from Animus. Oh, how he had loved that power. How he craved it. The horrible things he could do with that power was boundless. Tearing, slashing, maiming... he smiled in sick pleasure.
Then he looked back at the two-tails. He could feel the hate and desire to kill flowing through him. The surge of energy from the blade felt boundless.
We're going to have fun, boy.

Kuraiyume jumped back as the bladed sand trap emerged, as did his genin. His byakugan registered massive chakra flows, not just limited to the inside of the beast, but spilling outwards and warping the surrounding land. He started to think hard of a plan. As he thought, he spoke to the beast.
"The defining moment of our lives will not be our deaths, beast, but when we seal you! You think we are afraid of you? Well, maybe we were, but courage has long since dispelled any doubts from our minds. I can see clearly, beast, and you know what I see? I see a pathetic creature acting upon primal instincts to kill for no reason, and I'm not talking about the demon in the other shinobi's sword. I also see three courageous genin who are going to take you down, not for personal gain, but to make sure that you do reach our village. And I see myself doing the same. You may be strong, but true power emerges not when fighting for yourself, but when fighting for others." Kuraiyume yelled.
As he did, he made multiple hand motions. They were not hand signs, but a sign language he created to speak with his genin. Silently, they all began their coordinated strategy.
Within seconds the group acted. The hand signals communicated a strategy that they would all coordinate a ranged attack, from all four sides, seeing as they could not approach the beast yet. Their signal would be the first thunderbolt from a storm that Kuraiyume would summon.
Kuraiyume put away his kusari gama, made a series of hand signs, and suddenly, clouds began to appear in the sky above them. Once they had blanketed the immediate area, a thunderclap arose from the clouds, and Kuraiyume's team acted.
Kuraiyume made a single handed sign and shot a powerful bolt of lightning at the creature. Hayaiko shot a blast of wind after doing a hand motion. Taiyouhi grabbed two shuriken, heated them white hot, and threw them. Chi Hana created thorns in her hand and hurled them as needles at the beast.
They all knew it wouldn't work, but it would bide time and show off the beast's powers, and maybe a weakness.

An errie smile spread across the man's face, the two tailed beast. In a strange way, he was actually enjoying the battle, enjoying the energy flowing through him as a result of it. And now....he could sense evil, animosity in the eyes of his captures, attacking their emotions, clouding their judgment. Pure destruction was sure to come about, and the beast liked it. But first, he had to draw it out, more and more, until there was....enough. Then, the next part of his plan would begin. That wouldn't be until later, the beast knew, and he kept it to himself, in hopes of finishing what he had started so many years ago.
First was the task at hand. The blood sand extending from the underside of his cloak was much more than just a simple sand jutsu. No, there was akways more to his madness. Making a small handsign, the sand began to spread outward faster, almost covering the whole battle field. Then, the real jutsu activated, as hands began shooting out of the ground. These hands were large enough to strangle a person, wrapping around an average adult with it's skeleton like hands. Hands began protruding out of the ground, and lying within the palm of every hand was all the weapons laid out by the sand.
(hopefully alot of you will be on, so we can get moving again, because I have a long weekend.)

Kuraiyume muttered a string of curses. He made some hand signals, and he and all of his genin jumped up to the nearest tree that was still standing to escape the hands. Then they resumed their ranged assault upon the beast.

Sanrir sat behind most of the other people and slowly composed himself 'All right it's action time!' As he thought up a plan he sat and looked at all the other ninja around him thinking which would be the most useful.

Michiyo looked onwards at the ongoing battle.
She had been lying in wait for a point where the two-tailed beast might show a weak point, or let its guard down, however, her efforts were tiring and she did not seem so lucky.
Her blue hair blew in the breezes created by the various attacks, and she reached to tie it back so it did not interfere with her focus. She closed her eyes and silently began to perform hand signs. She was tired of waiting around.
Soon, a puddle of water had formed around her feet, and continued to grow bigger. Her reflection wavered a bit with the ripples of chakra as she continued to spread the puddle. Suddenly the puddle, which now took up a considerable area around her, seemed to lie perfectly still. Then as she swung her arms forward, the water broke apart into sheets and flying into the air. The now still, gleaming sheets of water reflected the various surroundings and people, and she hoped it would catch the attention of the beast so she might be able to attack while it was disoriented.
