"Wait--but--where's Sin going?"
REalizing she wasn't going to get an answer, Mallorie let it drop. She held her hand loose in Horatio's and watched delightedly as time rewound.
When it was over, she grinned giddily. Now she had to get used to the fact it was NOT suddenly tomorrow, it was earlier this afternoon.
"All right, wanna come with, or not?," Mallorie asked, pulling her hand away.

"You sure? Don't wanna go back and find Sin?" Mallorie teased, in a very good mood, happy with the world. She was actually a bit disappointed to be going back to cheer practice--but not really too much.
((excuse me for minor--no major--puppeting razz ))
They drove back to the school, and Mallorie stepped out of the car, turning back to say, "Thanks for everything. It was nice meeting you. Um..." she bit her bottom lip a bit, thinking. "Well, if you didn't have anywhere to sit at lunch, you're free to sit at our table...there's plenty of space..." She stopped uncomfortably, hoping it wouldn't be taken the wrong way like it would with other guys.
((and now...I can't resist...I tried but I failed...so cheeisness for you smile ))
"Anyway, probably see ya later," she continued finally. "Thanks again."
As Horatio drove off, Mallorie stood there, staring at the horizon towards which his car was headed, her mind muddled and confused with thoughts of him and Sin and all these other things. The wind ruffled her long hair a bit as she stood. She just had to wonder...
But no, this happened every time with guys, she thought as she shook her head. she would not pay attention to her stupid thoughts that refused to stay quiet. She would simply go on with her life as normal.
A little pink car drove into the school parking lot. "Mallorie!!"
Haley leaned her head out of the window, laughing. "What are you doing, you dork?" she called jokingly.
Mallorie shook herself one more time for good measure. Then she went to go change.
((I. scare. myself. XD I even put the stupid wind thing. And sorry about all the oc-ness, I guess I just do that when I'm hurried. Okay, see ya in like five days! ^.^))

Horatio spent a few hours cruising the town, bored. He eventually got back to the alleyway across from the cafe and watched events unfold. He even saw Sin fly. Horatio couldn't believe his eyes. He slowed time and began running through the city, following Sin.

Sin still staring at the men who were manhandling her neighbor Toan. She didn't know what to do. Should she entervein, run and get help. The one thing that wasn't an option was fighting, because of her abilities. With those a** so close by they'd pick it up and the trouble and killing would happen again.
"umm hey... if you need help getting him back into the apartment, I can help you. I know he is a little drunk and all. But umm you don't have to be rough about it." She said in that same scared soft little girl voice. Making her pale white-blue eyes big and round for added effect. What the hell it worked when she ran the streets.
She wasn't aware of the fact that Horatio had followed her, and was now watching the scene from the road curb right now.

"No no we're fine."said the man in the blue suit "He just gonna take a ride with us."he said giving a un freindly looking smile. He then motioned his hand to take Toan away and the two men carted him off to the van. "So how long have you known Mr.Wolfewood Miss?"he said messing with a mini angel statue holding a cross that was on Toan's coffee table. ((Night all have to finish 2 projects and last minute math have a fun time at the Happiest place on earth :{ tell Mickeyi said hi razz ))

Horatio watched, still in disbelief, and made a choice. He walked up to Sin and put his arm around her in a way that suggested they had been together for a while.
-"Hey babe, what's goin' on?"
Horatio looked to Sin in a meaningful manner. He then looked to the men with interest, no idea what was going on or who they were.

Startled and shocked by what Horatio just did, a very real blush tinted her cheeks prettily all the way across the bridge of her nose. She looked up at him quickly guess what he was doing. Not sure how to react, but happy it wasn't very lit on the third floor outer walkway. "Ummm I just got home, and was coming up to my apartment when I saw these gentlemen. That is my neighbor Mr. Toan... he was at the cafe earlier. HE is a little drunk right now. I was asking if ummm they might need help to umm carry him in his apartment since the door is already open. It looks as if they are having a problem." she said in that soft scared little girls voice.
Her eyes still widened for that extra emphasis. But when she met Horatio's they said something different. Like something bad was happening, and she wanted to help.

Horatio nodded then froze time with Sin with him.
-"Alright, now that time's stopped, what should we do, beat the living crap out of these guys and rescue the Toan guy, rescue the Toan guy without harming those guys, or a rather messy third option?"

As the men opened the door to the green van you could partly see inside and see a table with restraints some computers and a man with a lab coat and glasses. "Hurry you nincompoops, before he wakez up we need him in ze restaints."he said in an odd accent. Then the man looked up and then saw sin and his eyes going wide and about to talk but then Horatio froze time on them.

(sorry i must of missed that in the post. My bad. ok I will post now.))
As Horatio stopped time, Sin got a good look at the man in the van. Just as we was replying to the question. "Oh i just met him........." she stops in mid sentence her body suddenly shaking and hard. Her eye widening in utter horror.
She did the unthinkable for her, not caring if Horatio saw it or not. She released her full extent, her light blond hair going that silver platinum, her eyes going almost all white. Her wings shot out to their full extent knocking Horatio back from her.
With out thinking she grabbed the man that was addressing her and threw him over the railing at the man in the van. Then easily jumping it, she snagged Taon like he was a rag doll and carried him fireman style. Looking at Horatio she nodded her head in the direction of the seedy side of town.
"I will meet you there ok? You'll know the building instictively, since it is old run down and gothic motifed. If you can hold of restarting time until your well away from these lying backstabbing Jerks the better." she said in a anger, pain filled voice. She wanted to kill these men. But after the incident 6 months ago she promised she wouldn't do that again. Spreading her wings she took off to the sky quickly covering the 28 miles to the said building.
Landing quietly on the top she carried Toan down the inner stairs to a room on the back side of the boarded up building. Placing her soft hands on his head and chest she focused transferring just a little bit of her energy to him, to bring him back to the waking world. She sat back after doing that completely stressed and aggitated enough to forget to go back to her normal appearance, as her odd wings were folded back loosely in case she had to run again.
