"Hey, you're still awake?" he raised his eyebrow. "Kagome, listen....You scared the hell outta me back there. I thought...I thought you where gone. I don't know what I'd do without you." he smiled, "So promise me this, alright? Don't ever leave me...okay?"

"Inuyasha......? You...you're not acting like how I thought you'd react..." her heart was pounding and she wondered if he could feel it.
"Why would I leave you? I don't exactly have a death wish,you know...." she replied in a small whipser, clutching his fire rat robe.
"Can you let me down? I think I want to talk to you while looking at you...." she was blushing as he let her down and she turned to him, their eyes instantly connecting, tears fell down her face.
"I was afraid....I'd never get to say goodbye...."

He set her down, and swiftly turned to hold her.
"I hope you'll never need to say goodbye." he whispered in her ear.

She was shocked at first, how sentimental he was being, and then relaxed and smiled, hugging him back.
"Thank you...." she whispered, her heart still a little fast-paced.
"I'm glad....I'm glad that I don't have to say goodbye....I don't ever want to...ever....say goodbye to being here...." she took a deep breath, It makes me feel alot better when you're around to protect me... she added silently.

Kouga nodded, "Yah....I would....what's up?" he asked, smiling at her softly. "You can tell me anything...."
Kagome nodded silently and got on his back, "Yah....We should...before they worry too much...." she yawned softly and layed her head on his back, "I think...I'm going to sleep just a little bit longer...." she smiled and drifted off into sleep while clinging to his back while he took her back.
((okay...whos gonna be Miroku, Sango and Shippo?? I can be Sango, if you guys would like....we just need a Miroku and Shippo...lol))

Kouga looked at Rider with sympathy, and then went over to her and pulled her into a hug, "no woman of mine is EVER useless, remember that." he said, comforting her, "Don't you dare believe that."
Sango walked back to the place they all agreed to meet with Miroku, "Hey Miroku....how do you think Kagome is doing? When we all parted for a bit, she didn't look too good...."

"Shh.....I hear something..." Miroku looked to the other side of a tree he'd been leaning against. There was Inuyasha...with an unconscious Kagome in his arms. Inuyasha put her down so that she could rest comfortably by the tree. Then he sat down next to her, with a very peaceful expression on his face.
"What happened?" Miroku stepped out from behind the tree. "You NEVER look happy, let alone peaceful. There's something wrong."

Sango looked at InuYasha, "Yah, that IS a bit wierd...." she gave hima half smile. She went over to Miroku, "maybe we should leave them alone for awhile...." she grinned, "maybe when Kagome wakes up, they will talk a bit..."
It wasn't long until Kagome DID wake up again. she yawned and stared up at Inuyasha, siiting up slowly. "I-InuYasha? You look...so calm..."
Sango beamed, "I take this as our cue to leave!" and she dragged Miroku with her.
