Cassandra stood and walked over to his computer. She leaned down behind him and looked at the screen. She nodded in agreement, "I agree...He would look weird without a tail."

Eben nodded. "I was up all night working on this. I think it'll work. I've quadruple checked it and I haven't found any flaws." Then he glared at Richard. "I intend to make this work. I'm not going to let my brother get more successful than me. I intend to make this work."

"Richard if you want to go talk Sean out of it you can. He said he'd rather do this than be my assitant." She told him.
Cluadia came out of the back room and walked up to Richard. She yawned and rubbed her eye, "What's going on?"

Kristen stretched out and ran, taking full advantage of the roomy cell.
She really wanted to be outside, though. In all honesty, she wanted to be in a jungle. She felt out of place here, and she knew why.
These cages...they're for animals, but in a human structure. I'm both, and neither.
A sudden sadness struck her hard. She was unique, strong, powerful...but very, very alone.

Cassandra turned around and saw Sean. She smiled, "Eben's almost done with the DNA for you."

Eben raised a vial triumphantly. "Make that 'is done'!" He said excitedly.
Mayuri creapt up next to Kristen's cage and said quietly "I got keys to the outside. I had to 'borrow' them from Eben, since he's head of security. I can take you out for a little while later."

A smile crossed Kristen's muzzle. "Thank you, Mayuri."
She sighed. "Mayuri...have you ever thought about...changing? You're so wonderful, and I'd like to...I'd like to be your mate. I've been thinking about how you'd look with fur."

Mayuri looked embarassed for a moment, then thoughtful. "It is an idea. Hmmm, I'll think about it." His expression suggested that he was already leaning toward agreeing with it. "In the meantime," He said, unlocking her cell and gesturing towards the exit. "Let's go outside. And please don't run away."

Kristen reached out and stroked his hair with her paw. "I won't run from you," she growled, and let herself be led outside.
She ran, on both two and all fours around the perimeter. She snarled and growled, and let herself be the tigress she was. Kristen felt free, though she was a captive.
She approached Mayuri, and gently rested her paws on his shoulders. "Thank you. I've never felt like this." She rubbed the side of her head (where her possessive glands were) against Mayuri's neck, growling happily.

Mayuri chuckled and said "I'm glad you like it. Ya know, I've made my decision. I saved a copy of the tiger DNA I used on you and I'll use it on myself as soon as I can. Then there'll be nothing stopping us from being together."
