Nay! Not yet. I've actually made really good progress on this final, and if I stop procrastinating every 7 minutes, I'll have a class completely finished today, and a class completely finished tomorrow. I'll even have free time, dab nabbit.
Of course, Omi's simply:
-Got a pretty wounded left leg. -Zoned out and tired as s**t.
Besides that, he's golden.

I've considered creating organizations in Commerce.
But short of creating a character for it (which I've done), it wouldn't work. Deitric hasn't been sufficiently "pushed" in any direction that would warrant the creation of any sort of organization.
I did/do, however, have a character with the potential to run a biker gang, I just never set it into motion because I realized people would never let a group like that raise hell in their establishment(s).

It doesn't help much that there isn't anything for an organization to go against these days, unless you move your thread to the Guilds section ( not the GGN strictly ) or manage something in Barton.
Also Commerce is supposed to be business, which, I guess a PMC would count as. I'm not sure there'd be a lot of work available though, since I don't see any bigtime conflicts.

The Darth Vizzle I did/do, however, have a character with the potential to run a biker gang, I just never set it into motion because I realized people would never let a group like that raise hell in their establishment(s). Depends, actually.
Like any RPG where you have to go break up some faggots standing in a bar/brothel/whatever from bugging everyone, they usually only want 'em out if they aren't paying or are more trouble than what they pay.
In short, how much s**t they can stir is directly proportional to much much cash they deposit unless the place is high brow. Someone owning a joint like that who's trying to see it from a business owner's perspective may or may not turn away a rowdy bunch, unless OOC they're sternly against anyone who isn't sipping tea and munching crumpets.

I've used Commerce pretty much as a "location" subforum, not just for businesses. The thread for Deitric's surrogate hometown is in Commerce, and it technically has businesses, but it doesn't need them.
Commerce, thankfully, is too busy to really police that strictly, and I don't think they care overly much if you do step outside the accepted boundaries.

I mean, come on. They brought a DRAGON back from the dead. That's some top-notch work, if you as me.

Get a blimp, KB. Not as technicool as the Caprica; but easier on the wallet.
