Stella heard the knock coming from the door, she said outloud " i suppose it would be fine to answer the door, after all i do live here now"she nervously opened the door to see the young man standing there. " Hello, welcome" she smiled

Stella noted that the two knew each other, she smiled at Luciain and said " i'm Stella,its very nice to meet you" then she did as Selena told her and walked to the ballroom, she had never met the happy couple but she wanted to congradulate them

selena nods as he follows me into the kitchen "well i havent been married to him for a 100 yrs now at the time i wanted to kill her " selena smiles rubing the back of neck "yea he cheat me with his student a werewolf none the less there married have kids ,but we resloved most our issues " selena down a shot of scoth " yes i do rember i also i rember the day you left with out a word the 1st time " selena just realized what she had just said abite her lower lip "im sorry that didnt come out right , well did you kill the humans ?" selena tried to change the subject tho it was odvious selena was still bitter at him seeing the new scars" oh my those are pretty bad im glad you came back to the manor " selena poured her self another shot "ive also recently had more childern there alseep rigth now only about month old " selena sighed she knew that look " so are you going to sneak away again like a theft in the nigth ?" selena asked "you know almost had me fooled when you came back the second time "selena rubed her neck "that didnt come out the way i wanted it to ither uhm...there father luther is in the plane of torment ,rember how the war is coming ,well there was a death recently well muder by something out side of our realm"

Lucian nods, but growls to himself. "He cheated on her" he thinks to himself "I could find him..." but then shakes his head. He shouldn't, or at least, that what he told himself. He frowned at her next words. "Ouch..." he thinks, and then says"Don't worry about that...I deserve it, I know I have a habit of disappearing...I'm just not used to actually having someone else care enough that I can't do that..." He sighs and then looks down. He knew he'd hurt a lot of people in his life, her most of all. He hated himself for it too. Looking up, he grimaces "If it means anything, I did kill them." He had, too, they were now permanent residents at the Hotel Le Grave. He smiled then, at the thought of her with more children. She was a great mother, she always has been "That's good, you always did love children" he says with a smile. The smile fades at her last words, cutting deeper than any weapon ever could "No...this time I'm here to stay...Selena, I know you shouldn't have any reason to trust me, and it's perfectly within your right to hate me, but I need you to know how sorry I am. I honestly haven't stopped think about you, about everyone, since the moment I left." he replied slowly, pausing, he looks down at his hand, then quickly fixes another drink, downs it, and continues. " I never meant to hurt you...any time, and I'm not going to try and make an excuse, I want to be honest with you, and you deserve more than that. I will accept the consequences of my actions. If you wish me to leave the manor, than I will, I just needed to know what happened to everyone, what happened to all the people I care about."

Lucian exhaled "Well I hate seeing you hurt...and I know I hurt you, and I have to live with that. I still, every morning, remind myse..." he says, stopping short. He looks down so she can't see his eyes, fearing she'd see how long it's been since he drank. Another self-inflicted punishment. "You're welcome, for the compliment" he says "I don't know how you don't hate me...but thank you. I don't expect you to trust me, I don't...but I swear to you, on my life, that this time, I'm doing things right. I've made some bad choices in my life, but out of all of them, leaving has always been the worst. I left some of the best things that ever happened to me." He felt her fist connect with his forehead and sighs, then shakes head "I know, I'm an idiot. I should have stayed. Everything I ever wanted was here, I know that now." he says, with a little confidence gaining through the hurt tone in his voice. He took her hand off his forehead and holds it for a little bit "I know that people come and go, but I had people I was responsible for, they should have come first, you should have come first...I was selfish, and I truly apologize." he says. At the mention of the other man's name, Lucian lets go of her hand, and, looking down again, says "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..." he clears his throat and then runs a hand around the back of his neck "I'm happy for you two, truly." He finishes off another drink, then replies "Yes, actually, that would be perfect, though I can manage, if you have other things to attend to..."

Lucian chuckled, then sighed a bit. "You know I deserve to be bopped." He saw the hurt on her face and frowned, saying "Selena, I'm sorry..." He hated that look. "I know you won't hate me, you're way too perfect for that" he says, and then smiles. "I just don't know how you don't. And about that life debt, you already have one from me." He laughs a little bit, not wanting her hurt again. He'd have to be more careful. He knew she was still hurt about him leaving the first time, and the second time "God I'm an idiot" he thinks to himself. Hearing her words, he hides a flinch "Selena, I may regret a lot of things I've done, but marrying you has never, ever been one of them." With her words, he picks up her hand again "not too eager, don't seem desperate" he reminds himself in his head. "I just don't want to do anything you don't want me to, ok? I will always love you, but if you've moved on, that's good, I want you to be happy." He smiled, which turns to a scowl " I know I can't, but it was worth a shot. I haven't been drinking...because I deserve it, and about the being happy, I reword it, I'm glad you're happy" He can't help but smirk, and laughs a little. "You always know how to make me laugh or smile" It was true, she always has been able too. It's one of the many things about her he loves. He frowns again, then stands and pulls her towards him, hugging her "I'm sorry to hear that...I am, are you going to be alright?" he says softly. He would make sure he looks after her this time, properly, he promised himself. "Good, you can actually take a break now, you don't take enough time for you." he says, and then inspects the ring on her hand "Really? I've heard of stories, but never seen one...it works?" He was curious. "I don't need the blood..." he replies, but then, glancing up at her, he drinks it, who was he kidding? "I hope you do too, Selena, I want you to be happy." he explains, "You deserve happiness."

"Selena, that's one of the reasons you are perfect, you're humble" Lucian says with a smile "And you do deserve it. Just like how I deserved everything you threw at me or said to me." He chuckles a little and then raises eyebrow"I'm sorry..." he says, hiding a smirk."I agree with you, everything did happen for reason, but that doesn't make my actions right." Lucian replies. He sighs and then says to her "I don't drink for all the people I've hurt, especially you. Besides, I dare you to try and force me to drink* he challenges. He relishes in the feeling of her hug, it felt good to hold her. He closes his eyes at the mention of the sunrise, he hadn't seen one in so long "Selena, as long as you're happy, I'm happy, got it?" he responds, smiling to himself. He smiles at her "That's a good idea" he says, taking her hand and leading her out the front door. He looks up, seeing the moon, still full, more visible this time. "I always have loved the moon...do you remember the time you found me on the roof?" he smiled at the memory.
