Chen Ning But Chen doesn't have a criminal record. He just has a funny way of interrogating people. He also doesn't have a badge, technically. At least not from the GPD, because I contacted the people who run it and all of them said that Chen Ning is not on their members list. But that notwithstanding, I'm sure that if he never did anything that actually got himself arrested then the sole reason for it is because corrupt cops protect their own, regardless of how much the person in question may deserve what he's getting. As for Noah... well, eventually I'm gonna have to sit down and write out what the storyline for this year will be. I have a general idea in my head, but somehow I'm getting the feeling that despite what happens this 'white whale' will prove quite elusive.

themightyjello Chen Ning The GPD accepts anyone. Unless you have a criminal record. Everyone has a criminal record on this site. Chen has a criminal record. Sey has a criminal record. I'm pretty sure that somewhere along the line Bolt had a criminal record. Everyone has a criminal record. Except Noah. Bolt's criminal offense was being a b***h. I'm pretty sure he did worse things than that one guy's 13 million joule lightning bolt or whatever it was. But we had lesser standards back then.

We agreed that the GPD is one global enforcement that everyone is part of, but I made my division the Durem division, to show that it was both a part of and separate from the GPD in the FFA. Then after a while, Tac said I should just go ahead and merge our ideas and thus, we have the GPD that exists now. I'm basically going to carry on the new era of GPD as best as I can.

Say, if I made a corrupted red version of the badge and gave it to John Naters, would be he honorary GPD?
Quickly, I must procrastinate another hour.

The Haelstrom Fist Say, if I made a corrupted red version of the badge and gave it to John Naters, would be he honorary GPD?
Quickly, I must procrastinate another hour. No, but you can make me a GPD badge template for people to edit with their avatar faces or character faces, along with their names, whenever they become a GPD officer. And also a place to put their ranking.

Ross only commits crimes outside of the jurisdiction of the GPD and has a firm of lawyers on retainer.
But mostly, "screw the rules, I have money."

The only character that I have who doesn't believe that he exists outside the rules of mortal men doesn't have a criminal record.
For various reasons.
But yeah, most of my characters are all like "laws? lulz" aside from the ones that actually uphold the laws.
...oh wait, I've got two career criminals on file. One just doesn't get played ever.

The GPD is the new GSF.
People running around with powers using a vague sense of the overall good in order to justify doing whatever they want.
...and occasionally saving people in the process.

Whereas the new GSF is... ... ... is there even a new GSF or is it just the lingering remnants of the past desperately clinging to something that made them special once upon a time?

I will try to play the GPD realistically, but keep in mind, realistically is different in Gaia than it is in the real world. On Gaia, you have people who are far more potent than the average person and have little reason to have cops protect them. So when you have someone who abuses their powers and whatnot, then it calls for more tough justice. Only when the order is re established in a balance will they settle down and give people more rights.

I don't know. There was the initial GSF, and then it ran in a guild for awhile. I still use KB's status as an ex-GSF agent for the sake of storyline and flavor.
If there's a NEW new one, I don't know about it.
