Kari: Since the shop is (officially speaking) on a break, TY edits will not be available until later this month, sometime after the 15th.

I bet there will be, but the shop is still technically closed for the holiday. Meri is going to open the shop either tomorrow or Monday, so there will probably be a Thank You edit thread for January created then. 3nodding

Ugh, if anybody can find any advice on how to heal faster after tonsil surgery, I'd really appreciate it. It still hurts like hell, but college starts on tuesday and I HAVE to be better by then.
How am I supposed to tell my french professor that I can't speak?
Most of the information I'm finding on it is about "your child". Which dosen't help, because I'm 21 and apparently post-tonsillectomiy healing is much different for a kid than for an adult.

wish i could impart some advice, miri, but i still have my tonsils ^^;. i did have a classmate who had her tonsils removed, but she had it done over spring break.
hm, nobody's redeemed miri's wonderful shop credit presents yet? o.o
congrats on your new place, kari! ^^
and good luck on the grad schools, lizstar. in my program, we'll be flying in prospective students in february. it's kinda fun getting recruited by grad schools. some of them wine you and dine you whee . here at my program, we have parties and brunches and various meetings with the prospectives that we fly in 3nodding .

I just read some horror stories about bleeding 2-3 weeks after the surgery.
Great. Juust great. I wish my doctor had told me about this instead of going "get them taken out!"
I imagine people wont use most of the shop credits until you can sign up for thank you edits. I figured thats what most people would want, which is why I gave everyone 2k

really, there may be complications with tonsillectomy? i thought it was a pretty benign procedure. guess i don't really know too much about it ^^;.
ah, that makes sense about the shop credits. haven't even thought of that. *ponders*

wow, kimi really is zipping through her orders. there were lots more the last time i checked ^^.
and in unrelated news, somebody finally bought the cat band that's been in my vend for over a week now. i really thought i'll be stuck with it, because item searches with "cat band" pulls up all the paper stuff as well. now i feel...less poor xd .

That's because mostly kids get tonsillectomies, and for some unknown reason it's much, much easier for them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonsillectomy;_; I want to go to school without being in constant pain... I should have had it done a week earlier!
