"So this is the headquarters of the Mishap Mercenaries." Damian muttered aloud. Having entered through the triple-door entrance to the building, he was almost immediately greeted by a security checkpoint. Respectfully he forfeited his weapons, including the gauntlet infused with a wrist blade as well as his armor as to not impose any possible intimidation upon any he may meet. The "young" warrior even went so far as leaving behind his green cloak to show that he had nothing to hide to what he had hoped to soon be his new employers.
Everything was said and done in only a few minutes, and Damian was left to venture the middle hall leading to the Commanders Office. As he passed several rooms on either side of him he had wondered what could possibly be behind each door. A mess hall? Perhaps an infirmary or even a training ground? It mattered not, as soon he would learn for himself once he confirmed that he would indeed work for this Commander of sorts.
The hall then split to both sides and in front of him stood the double doors leading to the Commander. He rapped on the door three times and stood ready to enter at meet his new employer.

"Bloodeh Hell." Came a rather irritated grumble from around the corner. Out stepped a young teenage girl who's scowling expression matched the awful tone in her voice. She walked in a slouched over, uncaring manner, as if she really didn't have a care for what was to come at all. "Having to rush over missions, what is Ry Ry thinking?"
It was at this point in her quiet rambling that she finally glanced up to gaze at the newest arrival to Mishaps. Pausing for a moment she glanced him over, taking the time to pat off some of the soot embedded into her clothing. "Yo...newbie right?" She asked the man, gesturing her hand to him, a grin slipping onto her pale features. "Ry Ry-er Commander is out gathering things at the moment. She'll be back in a couple of minutes and when that happens the doors'll open." Walking closer to him, she stopped before the doors as well now to lean against them in wait. "The name's Stalker by the way, Captain Stalker...and er, don't tell me your actual name in return. It's best that I don't know that so I'll just be calling you Rookie for now."

Damian turned his gaze towards Stalker the moment she had uttered "Bloodeh hell", the expression she wore as well as her body language told him that something wicked was soon to be on its way.
Whether she lost her train of though, or for the time being she had finished griping was unknown to him, though she did seem eager to meet the "newbie". While she had glanced him up and down, Damian kindly returned the gesture and from the look of her attire it seemed as though soot was permanently stitched into her clothes. It was as if no matter how much soot was patted out there would be plenty left that would remain.
When the young girl introduced herself as Captain Stalker and told him that the Commander was not available, Damain set his back against the wall opposite of Stalker crossing his arms before he spoke.
"I would say you can call me Chimera for now, though I somehow have a feeling you'll be more hell-bent on calling me Rookie for a awhile. Regardless, it is a pleasure to meet you Captain Stalker." he said with a nod, and greeting her with a kind smile.

"Heheh. Chimera?" Xinrie grinned again. Some hidden form of Irony from her past made the name funny. "So then Rookie..." She paused, hesitantly thinking of some new turn for the conversation. Scratching her still bloodstained nad slightly bruised cheek, her head lolled to the side.
"Got any special abilities?" Her head tilted back so that she was staring at him straight on. The goofy smile seemed to be permnamently affixed to her face despite the awful appearance she held now. Really, Xinrie looke dlike she had just now come out of a war zone. But hey, that's what she got for having to rush through the Romeo and Juliet Mission. "Everyone here has some form of something that they are really good at. It helps us with deciding codenames."

Damian's left eyebrow perked when Stalker had grinned yet again, this time at the mentioning of his old alias, Chimera. Her seemingly permanent smile didn't seem to bother him very much, yet she reminded him of no one from his past either. However when she asked him of his abilities, he paid further heed to her injured cheek. The soot and the wound started to make more sense now.
He walked towards her, speaking as he took each step closer to her. "My abilities range from simple spells, to sacred weapon techniques, and even to simple things such as reconnaissance and assassination tactics. I can also drain a man of his supply of mana." he finished that last part with a more grisly tone, stopping within arms reach of her. He then ran his thumb across her cheek, where once there was cuts and bruises, now appeared tender and undamaged.
"Healing others is a trade of mine as well..."

Xinrie's gray eyes slowly drfited down to her cheek and then back to him. Her stare was at first accusing because Xinrie was a natural 'Touch-Me-Not'. But seeing as how it actually helped, she stifled the oncoming snapping of all his fingers down by shoving her hands into her pockets. "Hmm...So you'd be good in the medical divison..." She murmured, squinting her left eye in thought.
Drumming her fingers against her leg, she shifted a bit. "Question, if you can heal injuries...does that mean that you could heal dead skin? Like...for instance." She cast her gaze to the side as she figured out how to word this rather morbid string of thoughts. "If there were a dead body decaying, could you stop the decay? And maybe even renew the cells?" The creepy thing was, Xinrie actually seemed incredibly interested in the answer to the question.

Captain Stalkers blatant death stare was deeply amusing. Damian had made a mental note to ask her permission before touching her again. Her remark however, brought about a playful thought.
I'd be good in the morgue as well....
He had made sure to step back as to no longer impose on Stalkers personal bubble any further. The question she had asked him, though morbid, had piqued his curiosity.
"Stopping decay is relatively simple for me...however renewing the cells would certainly cost me quite a bit of mana. However, if I were supplied with enough I'm confident that I could completely revive the corpse." later he would admit that it was an ability he wasn't very fond of, but it had it's uses...more or less.

If possible, Xinrie's grin widened even further at his answer. She now looked almost like a deranged clown with the dirt and soot on her face acting as makeup. Letting an amuse glint pass her features, she glanced down the hall and then down the other end of the hall. "Really now? So if I were to hand you a corpse, right now, that's been decaying for about a week now, you could patch it up?" Leaning just a bit closer to him, she removed her hands from her pockets to fold her arms together. Obviously, his answer was a good answer for Xinrie. As an afterthought, her head tipped once more to the side. "I wonder if the smell would go to...it's getting pretty bad."

Damian's eyebrow almost twitched at the prospect of reviving a corpse only a few minutes after having met one of the Captains of the MMs...now her smile reminded him of the infamous species of grinners. Monsters known for their smiling features and their habit of biting your face off...
"Well, yeah, I could revive them. It's just a matter of sustaining enough mana for myself." He hesitated, not wanting to reveal his weakness so easily to some girl he hardly knew. "If you by chance you have a supply of mana potions you could provide me then I could have this person you speak of revived within the day..."
Of all the things he wanted, he didn't want his body to crash after suffering another mana deficiency...
"As-as for the scent...it should disappear after a good shower." he said, weakly smiling.

"Oh..I wouldn't waat you brining 'im back to life. Psssh, that'd be the opposite of helpful." Xinrie flapped her hand about the air in a dismissive manner, her grin dying down a bit. "Only to stop the decay. Despite appearences, I actually believe in keeping dead things, dead."
"Hmm...Mana bottles. Where would I get those?" She grumbled this, her brow pulling together. "Wouldn't want you doing anything that could get you hurt. That'd be a pain too...maybe the library?" Xinrie had this awful habit of thinking out loud. It didn't really help when she had to go on missions dealing with recon.
Shrugging, she shook her head, burying the thoughts for now. "Whatever, couldn't do anything now anyway. Ry R- er Commander doesn't like dead things in Mishaps. Says it makes the place smell. And the las time Captain Rubiks and I did that, half the Cleaning Crew quit. Heheh."

"If you wish for the decay to stop, that can be done in an hour or so." Damian said, running a hand through his hair as he spent some more thoughts on the Captains odd request. Perhaps a friend that died awhile back and never got a proper funeral? Maybe a botched mission that could still be restored to its former glory?
"If it's something as simple as that I should be fine. I can just rest after a mission or two. Then again there's always the alternative..." Damian assured her, eyeing his left hand as he opened and closed his fist several times over.
"Speaking of the Commander....how much long till she arrives?"

"Who knows?" Xinrie replied, holding her gloved hand out before her face to trace the seam lines. "She's in the library, gathering mission info...and if you know anything about our library here, then you know that it could take ages before she returns. Especially if she's in the demon cow area. Those things are nasty around this time of day. Sunlight gets to 'em."
Dropping her gloved hand back down, she leaned fruther against the wall, taking on her usual slouch that made etiquette teachers cringe. "Anyway, my guess is that you and I are going to be stuck in the same squad since we're both going into her office at the same time. She usually lumps people together for things like this." A brief smile. Xinrie had another bad habit of talking alot when she thought the person she was conversing was entertaining.
"You told me your ability, Rookie, so I'll tell you mine since we're probably going ot be doing a mission together. I'm a necromancer. Together with Rubiks, we can raise the dead. Of course without her at my side, I'm less powerful, only being able to raise thirty bodies at a time. The only prolem though, is that bodies that aren't decayed beyond use have been more and more difficult to find. If you understand my meaning." ANother breif pause "....So if you don't want to help me renew some zombies back to being in a better state because of moral and ethical issues, thats fine. But I do only animate enemy's who have killed friendlies on the battle field."
