Neogoth666 Asmondai Yes and what´s more, you may changes both pistol and chainsword to say Power fist/lightning claw and combi-weapon, depending on the unit optionlist. i was gonna say "so combi-weapons dont require two hands?" but i figured, saying that, then this would better state my... confusion or are the veterens just so good that they can wield a combi-weapon in one hand? No, veterans are no different from any normal marines. But you can say/imagine them turning power fists off in order to use the weapons. We would mostlikely get lost with the Grey Knights and Space Wolfs "True Grit" rule when it comes to marines who shoots with bolters and whacks with a CCW.
Do I sence "Rambo" or "Punisher" moment here.....??

True grit was made into universal special rule AFAIK, and so far only Grey knights in p.armor and SW Grey Hunters do have it in the codex.

True grit gives the model the ability to use a bolter as a pistol in close combat, but never gains the +1 A for assaulting.

@Shino/Neogoth: True Grit is no longer a USR. That's why it is no longer presented within codices. It was a USR in the old codex. It's presented in the Space Wolves Codex as an actual rule because they came out before the 4th ed rulebook. It's in Codex: Daemonhunters because their True Grit rule applies to Storm Bolters, which is a bit different than normal.

@Shino: sounds like a nifty little "ability"
@Caleidah: that being said, i guess.... My SM captain is using a storm bolter and powersword.... is he illegal now? im almost positive 4th ed SM codex allowed it, else i probly wouldntve equipped it... 1 sec *grabbing old codex* ... yeah, old codex says he can use anything he damn well pleases basically...

XD I just said what the generic true grit was. :'3 But it's true as you say.

Neogoth: Yeah, what Van Evok says is right. He can take a 2h weapon (the Storm Bolter) and a 1h weapon (the Power Sword).
