I try to make sure it isn't a chore to read my posts. Long posts can be really good, but often I feel like I've got to really buckle down as a reader to get through them. That's always a bit of a hassle imo.

Sigil Warden Gauntleted fingers would gouge furrows in the man's face but alas! they would find no permanent purchase as the explosive right uppercut rammed into the roughly the same spot as it's predecessor. What happened next took her surprise. Not the punch, she had seen the windup and the fist rocket forward. It was more the explosive effect it had on her as the Hellish Shock Fist connected. The punch carried quite a bit of power by itself, but that flame shockwave, it burned. Oh god, how it burned! A scream tore from her throat as the blow lifted her bodily off the ground and sent her flying backward, a trail of smoke and blood whipping from the wound in her side. She landed hard on her left knee, and slid back a ways, ending her brief flight some ten feet away in a painful genuflection. Though her armor absorbed the force of her landing, it could not protect what it didn't cover. Her body shuddered violently from the aftermath of that hit. Bluish blood dripped from where the bruise had turned ashen, spattering onto the disfigured, bubbled asphalt. She couldn't understand it. How could it have been so devastating? Normally, her state of undeath let her shrug off such attacks with little consequence, but this... this <********, the demonhunter would press his advantage against his stunned foe. Aetyra would not let him get the chance. She might be hurt, but she was far from spent. Her left hand curled into a fist at her side in a sudden motion, as if steeling resolve. And then the earth opened. From below James' feet, a torrent of abyssal chains ripped forth from the ground with explosive force, glowing white with power. These hellish chains of perdition began wrapping themselves around his limbs and snaking onto his torso with startling speed, each length of chain moving as if it possessed some sort of devilish intelligence, slowing, and then constricting his movement as they tightened. As befitting these bonds of treachery, they burned not with heat, but with life-draining chill, drawing that precious warmth of the living into the maw of the abyss. The infernal cold would seep to his very marrow. With a grunt, the Void Knight forced herself to her feet, eyes blazing violet fury from their sockets, grimly watching the spectacle as her right hand tightened on the grip of Havoc's Call. Quote: Undead Weakness: Holy magic is anathema to a death knight. Any such abilities are twice as effective against her. Quote: Chains of Ice: Bitterly cold chains of spectral force tear forth from the ground in a five foot radius at a point Aetyra designates within fifteen feet of her. These chains try to wrap themselves around any opponent or object that passes within ten feet of them, slowing and constricting them, and freezing their flesh. The chains last 2 turns, not including the turn during which they are summoned. They may be sundered by attacking them directly, though this is similar to trying to break metal chains. An opponent that spends at least one post in contact with them contracts Frost Fever. Cost: 25 Runic Power. Quote: Frost Fever: Base: The target is affected by unnatural chills and is cold to the touch. This effect does not respond to heat of any kind. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Statistics Block: Runes (Ready): UU BB FRunes (Active): NoneRunes (On CD): F - 1tStriking: Chains of Ice!Runic Power: 0 (-25! net)dats long post bro waz balans???

Also, can't grab through the death knight's shield.
And Serpent Wave is an incredibly telegraphed move. Also, short-ranged. People who fought James before if he used that technique would be like, "Oh s**t, he brought up his hand, he's going to do Serpent Wave/Orochi Naga!", and probably roll out of the way, or block it and endure it and not take too much damage.

Makes sense.
Axe-chuks would also make a lot of sense. You throw these two massive axes at someone with a length of chain. Hits them, spins tight, lands two disease ridden axes.
Oh yeah.

lol, Vintrict ignoring criticism.
Anyway.
My post are long as ******** depending on what I'm feeling and what I'm doing.
I mean, I'm trying to paint a picture in the minds eye.
Some times my post are short, because I didn't feel they needed to be long.
Some times, I just am so personally taken with the beauty of whatever the ******** is going on in my imagination that I need to tell everyone exactly why that scene is so vivid.

Hold on, let me unfurl my massive post-length e-p***s.
Everybody knows that writing absurdly long overly flowered bullshit is what makes you a good roleplayer.

Sigil Warden overly flowered bullshit is what makes you a good roleplayer. I didn't say that. I told you what I liked to do. Sometimes I write really short post, other times I write comparably long one's. I mean I think they all serve there purpose and you need to know when which is appropriate. If I have a lot of information to convey, such as when I'm role playing with 6 different people at the same time DMing a scene.... There's just a lot of s**t to talk about. In this fight I'm about to have with Fox. There gonna be short as ********. Because I know fox (if he even post again) doesn't really give a damn.

There are some profiles that, in hindsight, I would have liked to tweak more. I feel like the differences aren't so huge that a good fighter can't overcome.
So I guess I'm sorry.
