While most never would try to further this skill, Fang felt it would be constructive to do so for future battles that might allow him the ability to keep a ranged posture. Practicing his shuriken skill further, he aimed his shuriken at the dummy, launching multiple at the dummy. The shuriken hit his head and shoulders as well as the heart area in the torso. Her next assignment was to meet with her squad leader however Rina preferred to waste no time in training. To begin she decided to learn how to extract foreign objects from inside bodies. Seeing as there was no human subjects laying around she made due with a training dummy which still had many shuriken poking from its wooden frame. Using her chakra and hovering her palms over the doll she could see the object slowly begin to move out of the wooden surface through the entry point until it was almost completely out where she could gently pull it from the dummy. Despite the doll being nothing more than wood she felt a sort of strange feat of accomplishment from her actions. [1/1]
One weapon he brought with him from the academy was his bladed tonfa. A different type of melee weapon akin to a fist weapon, it was something that he planned to make core in his fighting. Equipping the tonfas, he swung them around as though he was shadowboxing. He made sure to reach further with each swing imagining the lines where the blades would reach to cut a victim. (1/1 E->D)
Practicing a few combos with his bladed tonfa, Fang was sure to now hit a dummy multiple times. Each of his strikes were done with proper force. The dummy was ripped in different areas, straw shredding as the impact of the bladed tonfa was further influenced by his Hard Physical skill. Likely, he could cause some serious damage now. For his last skill training, knowing he would be using kunai often, he figured knowing how to use attachable explosive tags would prove to be very useful. Explosive Tags were expensive but were strong enough to do some decent damage at the lower level of ninja combat. Taking a kunai, he prepared the explosive tag using one available at the academy. As he now understood how to attach the tags, he attached a few tags to his kunai. Aiming at a few spots outside of the academy and away from any civilians who might get hurt in the process, he launched the kunai. They proceeded to explode with decent accuracy. Minimal damage was done to the dirt that the kunais with explosive tags landed in. (1/1 D->C)

Rina ears perked up as a cry came from nearby, her next assignment as she asked a young student if he needed assistance. The boy had managed to cut himself shallowly with a kunai, his arm bleeding moderately due to this. Without wasting a second she prepped her newly found patient, this would be the perfect opportunity to train herself although she kept that information to herself wanting to instill confidence in the young boy. She flipped through a recently acquired scroll that she knew would work perfectly for this kind of injury, a coagulation jutsu which would keep him from losing any more blood. [1/2]
With great confidence she began working on the patient, deciding it was the perfect proving grounds for her next technique. Hovering her palms over his wound and concentrating her healing chakra in the afflicted area the wound eventually began staunching. The bleeding ceased after a few more seconds thanks to her efforts and she got a quick thank you from the child before he stepped away from the woman, cautious of her strange aura. [2/2]
The next training she had planned was slightly more dangerous due to using herself as the guinea pig in the operation. Removing a small vial of snake poison she poured it out across one of her kunai and used it to breach the skin on her leg slightly. The poison began to spread however she did not let this happen for long before she began to take action. She knew that if she was able to extract this poison quickly enough it would not cause any unnecessary damage however she quickly browsed the contents of her scroll before moving forward. [1/2]
Removing poison from a victims body was no simple task however she had been charged with doing so for herself as one of the patients. The poison was given by a lesser poisonous snake, the venom was not deadly but did have other unwanted affects so it was up to her to remove it. Using what little knowledge she had on poison she went about the slow process of using medical chakra and water to go into the skin and extract the poison in the exposed part of her body, it was a painful process but it helped remove a great portion of the poison by the end of the procedure. The next technique was a major stepping stone for Rina in her career as a medical ninja, the use of Chiyute no Jutsu was the first in many healing techniques and would help build the footing to her true healing ability as a medic. She followed the instructions and demonstrations by the scroll perfectly, wanting to understand the jutsu to the best of her ability before attempting it on someone. It took awhile, she re-read it many times before finally feeling comfortable enough to move forward, however eventually she decided it was time for an attempt. [1/3]
She found a willing patient, waiting for a spar between two academy students to end she approached one and asked to treat the minor injuries he had received. There were three slash marks across his shoulder which she was in charge of mending, she didn't feel nervous at all this time as she was certain she would be able to properly use the weaker version of the jutsu and knew with the more chakra she put into it she could heal this wound in time. She began by hovering her palms over the wounds and applying her chakra over the wound, it took a few minutes of her time but slowly and surely the wound began to close and repair itself. [2/3]
After a couple more minutes she removed her palms from the affected area and to her surprise the small kunai cuts were completely closed, however there seemed to be slight scarring showing the imperfections of the weaker healing technique. She had the boy move his shoulder, and asked about any pain he may be feeling however all responses were positive and she felt relieved knowing she was able to use proper healing techniques at last. Creating medicine wasn't something easily done, plus Shiro had added fatigue from pushing herself too harshly once again, she seemed to have a knack for overstepping her limits and attempting things. Luckily for her this specific teaching wasn't too chakra expensive all she needed to do was mix together different herbs and plants to make medicines, she had already collected all the supplies she would need for this thanks to some help from the surrounding area. She sat alone at a desk mixing together different components, she made a few different remedies all of them having their own unique function, she had one which cured the common cold, another which halted coughing, and a third which was applied to the skin to help with cracking and skin dryness. All of them were relatively useless in the ninja world however this type of medicine creation was for practical use so she felt rather happy with the outcome of her hard work, and even gave some of it to the nurses for patients to use if they fit in the correct category. Many of them were difficult to make, they took precise measurements and ingredients, she often had to look through various books within the academy that pertained to certain herbs and the likes. Even going as far as re-reading and keeping some of them so she could better differentiate certain plants and their functions, making it easier for her to recreate these simple medicines in the future. With any luck she wouldn't need it, getting the common cold or an upset stomach during a mission was less than ideal after all. [3/3]

Fang decided to return to his main taijutsu training. He wanted to learn the Primary Lotus technique. For this technique, he had to first build up as much speed as possible after opening the first celestial gate. He opened a scroll to make sure he fully understood what was required of the technique. He had to dash at the opponent, kick them into the air, and then use his tendrils in lieu of bandages to wrap them for the dive. Fang took the time out to find a willing durable chunin to act as his target. (1/3)
As he activated and opened the first gate, he could feel his strength grow. His chakra flowed more freely and he began to move faster. The chunin he was training with utilized a defensive jutsu to protect himself against the incoming damage he was to receive. Dashing with great speed, he then slid down kicking the chunin upward. He began to climb into the air with the kick. (2/3)
As the kicking continued, his tendrils began to ripple out of his hands to wrap around the chunin. Spinning their bodies around rapidly, the began to spiral downward are a fast speed. Diving down towards the ground, at the last moment possible, Fang let go and dashed out of the primary lotus's damaging area. The chunin appeared unscathed, and Fang learned the technique. (3/3)

Having minimal knowledge of chakra control, as he was a taijutsu specialist, this time Fang found a nearby scroll in order to start learning Fire Style jutsu. Thoroughly interested in the Great Fireball Jutsu, he finished reading the scroll. Reaching inside of himself, he kneaded chakra using his original heart. As he breathed in deep, he aimed outside and released a great ball of flame in that direction. (1/1)
With his understanding of Fire Style improving, Fang proceeded to learn the next iconic Fire Style technique, the Phoenix Flower. Forming handseals, he then kneaded chakra and instead of one mass ball of fire, he unleashed small balls of fire and spewed them at the various dummies in the room. The lit on fire and were doused out by a genin learning Water Style techniques. (1/1)

As she was attempting to sort out the remaining scrolls full of techniques she was meaning to finish mastering during today's training session Rina was caught off guard by the sounds of panic. Turning her attention to wails of pain and a crowd of academy students she saw a young boy with a deep slash across his chest, something that wouldn't be healed as easily as her past techniques could muster.
Moving the crowd out of the way Rina knew she would need to attempt her next technique she had planned to train, the more advanced version of the healing palm should fully heal the child however if she failed she'd need to take him to the infirmary. Without wasting much time she pulled out the scroll and read over its contents quickly, wanting to make sure she could accomplish what needed to be done. [1/2]
Luckily for Rina the technique was very similar to the weaker version of the healing palm. All she would need to do is add more chakra into the mix and take a little more time in restoring the body to its complete state. Placing both of her palms over the boys chest she began applying chakra through her palms as the wound slowly began to close and heal itself, repairing all damage received. She had to hold her hands over his chest for a couple of minutes before the wound was fully closed and healed however she successfully managed to do her job as a medic. [2/2]
Moving on from medical techniques to elemental she read through a few of the scrolls she had on hand before preparing herself to use a few in succession. Weaving a few hand seals she was able to successfully muster up a clone made of water with relative ease. The clone stood still, quietly observing the real image of itself, retaining much of Rina's quiet qualities. [1/1]
Almost directly after creating the water based clone she decided to test out a second technique, creating water based elemental chakra she pooled it int he shape of a blade around her hand. The sword was fairly long however it seemed rather weak, likely due to her skill level and lack of experience. She watched as her clone mimicked the same techniques seconds after she had finished. Urging her clone to strike at her Rina needed to added help from her counterpart in order to test out this next ability. As her clone charged forward with the blade of water in hand Rina worked tirelessly mustering up chakra and weaving a series of hand signals. Within moments water began to pool around her entire body, stopping just above her head. As the clone reached her it stabbed out towards the water wall which absorbed the attack and in turn shot out watery spikes to deter the clone from further attacks. [1/1]

After the clones attack was disrupted Rina dropped the water shield and began to run from her clone, the clone following in pursuit not seeming to give up on its assault. Rina began to weave signals as she ran, creating water within her stomach and throat, collecting a large amount of it within her body in order to release it in her next attack. The amount of body hidden within her body was likely enough to bloat the average human, however Rina was no such thing, her figure remaining the same. [1/2]
Rina turned on her heel to face the clone chasing her, finishing off the final hand seals as she did so. Within the next moments the water in her body began to build up and rise from her throat, as her mouth opened a strong torrent of water blasted from the open orifice and crashed against the clone sending it flying to the ground. She continued to stream the water from her body as she inched closer to the fallen clone, keeping it disoriented and on the ground with the force of her attack. [2/2]
Taking this time to test out a second technique, as soon as the torrent faded and the last drops were expelled from her mouth she began a new string of hand seals while placing her hand over the head of the downed clone. Using her water chakra she began to release water around the clone in quick succession after her first attack. The clone watched as the water began to encompass her like a sphere, helpless as her limbs were absorbed by water. [1/2]
Before long the water had fully submerged the clone, it lashed out attempting to break from its spherical prison. All efforts failed, what little movement she could make within her newly formed prison were not enough to break free from its grasp. Before long the clone gave in and resigned itself to its fate, completely capture and having lost the battle. With her victory assured Rina released the clone at the same time she dropped the prison creating nothing but a puddle on the ground at her feet. [2/2]

Opening another ninjutsu scroll, Fang decided he would learn the Body Flicker technique. Another iconic jutsu, the Body Flicker was essentially a means of instantaneously moving from one location to the next with a maximum radius of one mile. Attempting to use his environment, he found the sway of leaves an acceptable movement. Instantly, he dashed from his position to the outside. (1/1)
Knowing that he had a Lightning Style element, he decided to learn the Lightning Style: Emotion Wave Jutsu. This technique was essentially a spread of electricity sent along a water source to empower it for defensive purposes. He was happy to learn on this technique. Forming a handseal, he found a nearby source of water and use the technique on it, sending out a powerful wave of electricity. (1/1)
His next technique would be Lightning Style. The Lighting Style technique was the Earth Flash jutsu. This technique essentially was sending lightning across the ground to shock a target, particularly if they are caught by a Water Style jutsu. Forming a single handseal, Fang manipulated his Lightning Style chakra into sending bolts across the ground towards one of the target dummies. This would prove to be useful in battles where he needed to overwhelm an opponent. (1/1)

The next Lightning Style technique he wanted to learn on the scroll was called False Darkness. This jutsu was a stream of continuous electricity in a beam form that could cut through most objects with ease. For a technique of this complexity, Fang studied the scroll meticulously. He wanted to make sure he really understood what he was about to practice before messing with something of this level. (1/3)
Forming a single handseal, he then began streaming lightning from his right palm. The electricity streamed outward wildly as he had not yet tamed its control. Aiming at one of the dummies, he began to try to focus his beam and do greater damage towards it for more successful damage. That would be more useful. Soon enough he could feel it much stronger. The lightning was now under his control. He released the jutsu and formed another handseal. His chakra then allowed him to take control the lightning. He formed a stream from his palm and slice the dummy in half. He did this again to another dummy. After a few more moments, he felt that he thoroughly understood the ability of this False Lightning jutsu. (3/3)
Now that he felt his grasp over the Lightning Style was quite firm, Fang returned to his Katon Style as it was his main element anyway. Reading a Katon scroll, he was interested in the Head Mincing Pain jutsu. To Fang, this was a large flaming blast that would engulf everything in its path. It was done from the user's mouth followed by kneading chakra. (1/3)
Heading outside once more, he formed handseals and attempted to recall what he had learned with his Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu. As he kneaded the chakra, he this time released a larger amount of chakra than before and sending it outwards. It spread outwards and appeared moderately menacing. The heat coming from the jutsu was very hot. (2/3)
Releasing the flames, he formed handseals once more and kneaded chakra inside of his lungs. From his mouth he then send out a powerful wave of fire that encompassed about the right size that this jutsu required. The flames were sent out and hit a nearby rock formation smoldering it into a magma source. The damage was vast and Fang felt like it would be very useful in the future. (3/3)

For his next jutsu that he was interested in learning, he figured the iconic clone jutsu would be very practical in many situations. The Shadow Clone jutsu, one that was utilized mostly be Jounin-ranked shinobi. For this jutsu, the typical handseals were essentially the same. However, ones personal chakra had to be separated into the other clone to make it almost identical to the user. (1/3)
Following the scroll's instruction, Fang formed three handseals and attempted to create a Shadow Clone, which would be superior to his basic clone. He failed to do so, creating a basic illusion clone that lacked any substance whatsoever. Without being able to make a real clone with chakra, this technique would take longer to learn. (2/3)
Forming the handseals once more, he this time was able to split his chakra evenly with a perfect Shadow Clone. The clone was almost a perfect copy of who he was. Fang punched it to see just how tough it was. It survived a solid punch, so he struck it a few more times until it popped. The Shadow Clone technique was now in his arsenal for the future. (3/3)
