Closing in on the Falls, Leonard glanced behind him to see if his companion was still following.

The black cat was still chasing after him, looking around and sniffing curiously.

Leonard pushed through some weeds, and finally found the falls, stopping at one of the shallower basins below the smallest waterfall. turning, he sat on a rock and watched Len. "I have yet to figure you out. I mean, are you a girl who can turn into a cat, or a cat who can turn girl? and why are you following me?" Leonard asked, still not sure what to think of Len.

"...Yes," Len answered, looking up at him. He isn't going to look for her master is he? This guy doesn't seem human either. If he goes to her master, things could get...messy...

Len shook her head without hesitation, "...I am often away from my master..." She said honestly.

Leonard nodded, thinking, before standing, and pulling his coat off, followed with his shirt, before he spread his wings, unveiling the last of the scars on his back. his torso was covered in them, gashes and cuts, all across it, each healed, but many looking horrible. somehow, his face bore no scars save for the one hidden under his hair, that Len hadnt been able to see, but now it was clear he had seem much combat, and had rarely come out of any fight unharmed. possibly the worst though, were the metal panels, embedded into his back at that moment, skin healing over them. focusing, the panels ripped free of the flesh surrounding them, and drove into the ground, stacking, nto a thin wall, to get them out of the way. beating his wings, he took off just a bit, and turned to Len. "I'm going to go for a swim. I dont care if you do so yourself, or whatnot, but ill beat on those panels three times before i leave, if you have wandered off. if you arent back by then, ill assume you dont with to continue following me, and i will leave without you." Leonard said, not harshly, simply as though stating something obvious, and then moved, a bit off, and divebombed into a larger pool, which was fed by its own pair of falls, and the smaller pool Len was near.
