Well, for one, to complete one list you have to trance into each different eidolon/character. Which would be impossible if you couldn't trance into another gender (unless you paid to change gender).

More interesting is that Trance characters have whatever weapon you're using equipped too.


As to your post on Ramza... I sorta model my character's art on him, although with different eye color. I think long hair makes guys look more feminine in general. But long hair is also known for giving strength.

Let me give you a review of the game before you decide. For one, unlocking Trance Aerith requires using heal spells 500 times, and also getting to the point in the game after your first caught eidolon. Also, to unlock her outfit requires items that you don't get until the end of the 4* missions (cactuar and tonberry drops). Which is almost halfway through the quests, since quests go from 1-10*. Her weapon is easier to craft, but is only used for certain jobs.

The game itself is pretty straightforward. Kill things for quests, and to get their drops to make equipment. The eidolons can be killed, or encased to be able to summon their powers (although it looks like just you using their big attack).

There isn't really that much plot. But if you have wifi you can play local or online with a group of up to 4 players.

While it may be extremely repetitive, it is also very customizable. When you use attacks during a "crystal surge," (Hold L+R when it says so, and press one of the listed ABXY buttons) the abilities can gain mutations related to that surge. And once an ability has a mutation, you can buy it, and then rename it. (ex. I have curaga, but it has reflect, regen, haste, element resist, etc and is renamed Silver Rain.) You can equip up to 8 abilities, which are linked to the L and R buttons (+A,B,X,Y).

You can edit chat commands if you are going to use wifi, you can edit your streetpass License greeting, as well as if you want your character's helmet to hide your face or not.

Also, if you aren't playing on wifi, you can use monsters to fill in as party members (although you have to acquire their Atmalith item to create them, and then you can only use point value up to 300; they can be 100/200/300 value, so you can choose 1-3 to add to party).

You can free roam (no quest) as well.

Anyways, if you don't mind not much plot, it's a pretty fun game. I like just crafting all the items, attack customization, etc.

Probably, did your browser try to redirect you to a fake "Hey, we've detected viruses. We should scan your computer" or something along those lines? (Because those are definitely trying to attack you)

Nope, just said what I put, the Network attack blocked was all. I know never to click those pop-ups that say there's a virus. lol. If it's not coming from my anti-virus, they get ignored.
